I have a question about the Russian Central Bank reserves that were seized.

Do you think that Russia will get them back?

If not, how will Russia respond?

Foreign currency reserves are not important at the moment

Russia has banned repayment of debts in foreign currency,  so we wont be trading with those states for a while

What is important is printing rubles

The Issue i see more relevant that somehow Putin appears to be sourounded only by boot lickers and yes sayers and this led to the state Russia is now. Nobody with a sane mind can tell me that Russia expected this massive fallout. It appears they thought its a 2 days adventure and the EU accepts it.

Infact in a way the EU must thank Putin because finally it projects power. Supplies weapons and uses its endless monetary power to raise the cost for russia to extreme levels

Short reminder for some of the special guests here: In Syria the VKS was able to fly 100+ sorties a day for weeks, with roughly 50 - 60 combat planes. The number only dropped while they had no targets left to hit. In this theater the VKS has many more planes/helicopters and a lot of airfields, it could easily fly 1.000+ sorties a day, maybe even 2.000 (helicopters can fly many sorites a day if necessary). They don´t do it because this would mean many more civilian casualties = NATO style operation.

Remember how you ran out of ordnance very quickly against Lybia some years back? It's ridiculous to think you can outspend Russia which most likely has the biggest stockpiles of ammo in the world.

There won't be much more losses. Kievan forces must be quite exhausted by now. I assume you noticed Russia took a small change in tactics after initial losses: they decided to soften Kievans a little more first (by hitting them with more cruise missiles and long range artillery) instead of just pushing forward with infantry.

It is extremely obvious that UA has focused ridiculous, seemingly unproportionate amounts of their available manpower and material assets on reinforcing the old Donbass lines. This also makes me more and more certain that the alleged plans for a February offensive that were revealed a day or two ago were true.

The extremely reinforced Volnovakha area finally fell to L/DNR forces just now. It was a landmark goal, apparently.

Fighting was fierce as hell, by all accounts. The Ukrainians seem to have gotten immediate fall back orders though, with little time to clean up after their stay, because once again loads of unused western munitions (Javelins, NLAWs etc) were apparently captured by the LDNR.

Rumors have it that captured Javelins have already been used against Ukrainian armor, but just rumors. There was also some supposed impromptu manual of Javelin/NLAW use being distributed among rebel troops, but I cannot vouch for its veracity.

So you say Kremlin knew we take 380 billion € of russiam assets? That we would eradicate any russian presence within Europe and crush oligarchs into oblivion? Did he also expect that we make Ukraine a new Afghanistan for them?

The problem is, Russia can offer nothing than misery. Thats why all run away from it. It has no attraction, in a way its an empire of dirt, as Johnny Cash called it. Given its complete isolation with the civilized world, its economic collapse...i guess USSR 2 will end worse than version 1.

Nabiullina is our best horse in the kremlin. She has done evrything perfect. She not only gave us 380 billion, she also activly destroyed any poasibility of the russian central bank to counter.
