Moscow. May 30. INTERFAX - In June, it is planned to transfer to the RF Ministry of Defense the last four Su-34 bombers under the current contract of 2012, a source in the military-industrial complex told Interfax.
“Under the current contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, four aircraft remain to be delivered for 92 Su-34 aircraft. It is planned that they will be handed over during June,” the source said.
On the eve it became known that in early June it is expected to sign a new major contract for the supply of a modernized version of the Su-34 to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS).
"It is expected that a new serial contract with the Russian Defense Ministry for 76 modernized Su-34M bombers will be signed in the very near future - most likely next week," the agency’s source said.
