Nazis are getting overrun everywhere
The Russian Armed Forces are preparing a new big offensive in the Zaporozhye direction
There are more personnel concentrated in the area in the Orekhov area than in the Avdeevka area, says Dmitry Likhovy, speaker of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Budanov, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing to launch a counter-offensive in the spring, when the Russian Armed Forces “run out of steam.” Considering our successes in Avdeevka and preparations for a large-scale assault near Zaporozhye, we are not talking about any “fizzle out”.
So Orekhov direction it is then

Certainly not a great offensive. What is happening on the front is a positional war straight from World War I, only with modern weapons, etc

Not a great offensive?
Advances in Adveyevka, Chasov Yar, Novomikhailovka, Pervomaisk, Sinkovka, Belogorovka

Are you watching the same war?

Of course, for this positional war, the Russians' progress is quite fast. However, this has nothing to do with a great offensive.
Unless this is a big offensive for you.
They conducted a major offensive in February and March 2022

English-speaking troops fighting "for Ukraine" at a front-line. At least one of them appears to be from Canada.

Good Heavens, why?
I mean yes, he did lose more full size real life warships than I lost Space Marines in Dawn of War 2 but this treatment seems excessive

Yes and no, while I don't see a major offensive until at least after the presidential election (Russia's) and before the US elections (November), I do see this as laying the groundwork for that. My guess is the Russians grab more ground for the next month or so and then dig in to let the Ukrainians break themselves on Russia's new lines. Then after the next Ukrainian summer offensive dies, Russia rolls.

There is not much between Orekhov and Zaporoshye. So Orekhov direction it is then
A breakthrough in this area could lead to a partial collapse of the entire southern Ukro frontline.
Its constant pressure along the whole line to see if some unit on the other side cracks.the Russian advance is more like a tide then a wave.
With changing areas of extra pressure. As soon as the Ukros try to plug some holes,
the pressure is increased in another area. This forces the Banderites to constantly shift
units from A to B and then to C which puts them into the open. Easy targets.
They are out of trained men.the next Ukrainian summer offensive
More so they are out of officers.
They only got leftovers from the previous four armies.
No AD.
Short on ammo.
There will be no next Ukro offensive.

It's sad, that I have come to hate Ukraine
But it's true, I had what I consider family from Vinnitsa, Burmistrovs/Burmistrova
They are living in Moscow now
Personally I am happy they live here, but for me they are Russians , not Ukrainians - although itself a difficult thought to reconcile
I understand why we shed blood with them
It's the only way to integrate them when it's over
Podolyaks brother is in Moscow too
A civil war, that I saw as a war to the finish
I do hate them nonetheless, but I understand the bigger picture
Historical mistakes are being corrected in this war
We will be a family again, blood in and out

GEROMAN -- time will tell -

@GeromanAT
Ukrainians are now trying to counterattack on the flanks - probably to get their comrades out of the cauldron - fierce fighting is going on - also in the eastern parts - a battle for retreat I suppose
- STARLINK is still jammed
- drone teams and EW are working
- a tank reserve is held around the airport - but for now more or less only infantry is engaged.
Air force is pounding the Zitadell (9th quarter) - and the coke plant - from where a massive attack along the main road is going on.
It is said this night will be a massacre - Russians try all to close the pincer "no one should escape" is the parole.
The 1st Slavic Brigade raised the Russian flag over the main fortress of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the south of Avdeevka, taking the Zenit fortified area!

It is reported that enemy units are trying to move out across the fields in the direction of the settlement.
Our aviation, artillery and MLRS are destroying enemy columns at this moment.
It’s too late to retreat, the enemy is already in the cauldron, which is boiling at these minutes. - IlRusso reports

That would be a pretty sensible sacking.

Rumors have it that the only tangible gain UA made during its entire "counter-offensive", Rabotino is in for the same treatment now. The sailent has been a fire bag the entire time, constantly incurring UA losses, but UA has kept reinforcing it (similar to the so-called Krynki "beachhead", an ongoing exercise in futility, for social media points). Now RU is supposedly prepping to close the cauldron.
So in other words, Belgorod or Bryansk or some other Russian city close-ish to Ukraine should expect random terror shelling tomorrow. Already saw some earlier today with 7 civs killed at a shopping mall in Belgorod.
Or they just go for Donetsk again, of course.
