But they were driven out, massive losses for Ukraine
And one unit refused to attack, they thought if they pushed, the guys would retreat, but they did not retreat

If Russia's defenses continue to hold and these offensives continue to be useless then its quite possible that either leopards are not being committed to battle (I would not rule out Ukrainians selling them to terror groups fighting the US or even North Korea getting some of them) or that they are getting knocked out, no pictoral evidence doesn't mean much.

History is being made tonight. It is certainly sobering to realize that thousands are probably dead, dying or wounded right now.
Edit* looks like Ukraine has taken a height, but RU armor is entering the fight

Expect large Ukrainian attacks as we get close

The guys write that they burned columns of enemy equipment all night long, of which there were many. There are no front line changes.

Luckily it was "only" the top works of the dam that were destroyed, ie the main body of the dam below the water level has remained intact. The areas that have been flooded as probably best characterised as floodplains, so without checking a map, I'd expect that minimal population is located in the badly-impacted areas. There will be extensive secondary-degree flooding, but not the harrowing and destructive flooding that washes away whole villages (like what was seen in the Fukushima tsunami for example).
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian side is opening all the floodgates for the discharge of water from the Dnepropetrovsk GRES, located upstream, in order to aggravate the consequences of the disaster.

By the way, the previously reported pic with clearly smoking Leo2A4 was made in the same landscape and identical colours. So I guess any claims of it being faked from Syria is a cover-up.

Helicopters again?
-Edit-
Also, about fakes, I was talking about this. Original picture was used to mirror and superimpose.
I am not sure why would anyone photoshop, either to boost their tg channels or simply to discredit.

The story with first claimed 8 pcs tasted assisted with tractors, did more damage than good.
It is a shitstream denial agenda for a second day in a row.
Ha ha ha, look at those stupid Russkie who can't distinguish a tank from a tractor!
Showing nothing would be much better than that.
This is nice.

First, lancet takes out a battery radar of IRIS.
Second, artillery arrives tearing their poor arses to pieces.

I mean, tractor or not tractor, pilots said they don’t know what it is and worked on it, they were in battle, not in a comfy chair behind the monitor (although, KA-52 working conditions are quite comfy compared to traditional layout helicopters) it’s not some Iraq suburb, there are no civilians, especially plowing the fields. RU mil community had a giggle and moved on.
Now let UA fanatics deny reality, it’s funny to see how they twist and bend whole narrative around one detail.
IRIS radar hit was in Kharkov direction, better than launcher as there are only 2 radars on whole Ukraine.

So fancy and expensive "extended range" European Wunderwaffe that was to cover a 40 km radius turns into a kind of Tunguska equivalent limited to the line of sight.
Every single case shows the giant difference between the systematic Russian approach to the battlefield clashing with western fancy toys made for catalogs and exhibitions ...

Ukrainian Zaporozhe Offensive Day 4 update
After an operational pause yesterday the Ukrainians resumed attacks, with a large push north of Bakhmut and a smaller one on the border in Belgorod.
The main effort, however, materialized south of Orekhovo attacking towards Tokmak.
The Ukrainian Army appears to have thrown a division-sized element at the Russian lines south of Orekhovo, with large attacks reported (Ukrainian time) yesterday afternoon (image 1), last night (image 2), and another one as I write this in the morning (image 3).

By all accounts this is a very heavy combined arms assault using multiple armoured brigades (tens of thousands of men), large numbers of tanks, APCs, heavy artillery fire and is being conducted along the entire Zaporozhian frontline.
Our warriors haven't even given up an inch

Many weapons are great, but once you introduce them to the battlefield, the other side learns how to counter them. That is a general observation, not only related to HIMARS.
And Russians are:
1) Jamming GPS, making them basically super expensive MLRS
2) The Patsir AD was updated specifically to intercept HIMARS missiles by now, it was trimmed to prioritise and intercept them. So where you can't just jam, they are intercepted. But that is not 100% interception rate, but pretty close.
No wonder weapons stays a wonder weapon for long. That is essentially why, the best weapons are kept back for as long as possible, since the clock starts ticking once they are in use on the battlefield.

According to reports from Sumy, Russian troops used a new tactic tonight. Thus a single "Geranium" hovered over the city for almost a whole hour, forcing the AFU to use up their entire stock of man-portable air defence systems.
According to some reports, increasingly solid air defence equipment had previously been moved by the AFU command to Kharkov, to the border, and to the counter-attack places, and now helicopters could operate over the city at least. And most importantly, after shooting over the city, the Geranium hit an ammunition depot.

Anybody ask how these heavy equipment is getting to the frontlines ? If Ukrs are using NATO supplied heavy weapons ( or even light infantry crossing the River ) , then are they being transported across the forty or so Bridges or on the six remaining Dams or on Barges ? If entire Ukrs territory turned into a desert , with no civilians or infrastructure of towns or cities or food or water or factories or anything , then this NATO proxy force , will of course carry on as normal . They supplied Tanks , so they can supply food and water to the Orcs . So destroying everything on the River , will stop all supplies to the Orcs and trap them in the East . The effect on civilians ? Well 18 million left a year ago , and 8 million returned a month ago . They can all go to Poland for sure . Let EU feed them . GarryB was concerned about political impact , but it is too late for that . Plus , once Orcs defeated , then civilians will return quickly and have to face reality of life with no Orcs , but Russia in control . Important now to defeat the Orcs . All Dams and Bridges and Barges destroyed on Deniper is needed now . Russia can feed population in the East , if agriculture fails .

We are not sure if exported video is bad quality or it is really bad. Sometimes exported video is so bad, but pilots still hit targets and it makes me think that maybe compression/downgrading is at play. But T-90M optics are very good, but probably can’t zoom in as good.

Could be.
T-90M can use atgm with a great range so its thermaals allow nice zoom. If not they can use it as a basis for improvment on ka-52.
If those videos are not changed and they have really this on their screens in the ka-52 then it's total shit.

wave "flood the front with men" tactics. The ratio of Russian to Ukr losses is roughly 1:10, which is fully consistent with the differential in
organization, training, and very importantly hardware. Apparently, Russian forces hit Ukr staging points in the rear. That is something that
the Ukr side cannot do to the Russian side.
