I am very curious with Wagners new office. How will the MoD correspond working with Wagner and their newly found organization structure. It sounds like a two tier system 1 private and second government with the second working in tandem with the first but on a for profit basis.
Wagner will help change the game for Russia I think.

But you know what is interesting? We have 8 months of war, yet they are astonished and surprised by the MRE rations of the enemy. Those rations goes in millions all around the place. Russkie are giving away hundreds of thousands to both civilian population, POWs etc. They don't know them? How?? One of the possible answers, they have never stepped into Russian controlled territory to spot those.

Iv'd had field rats from 7 different countries over the last 45 years. Russian rats are the best of any. Gawd, we're given thousands a month to DNR/LNR, truck loads leave every two days for those two oblasti plus we give hundreds of fresh from the oven bread loafs to go with the loads of rats. Our local Priests to the honors of packing and loading the trucks and our Priests do the driving and distribution to those unfortunates. In a way it immensely annoys yours truly because I'm too sick to make the trip, let alone too sick to load and unload the trucks. I do what I can as does VCO but dammit, I want to go and toss what little muscle I have left to at least help these folks up north.

Kind of off-topic but at the same time very relevant: The WW2 eastern front descriptions that made it to the west, into western history books etc were basically the excuses of the losers.
The Nazis thought of themselves as racially superior in every way to the Slavs they were sent to kill, subdue and/or enslave. So when it didn't go smoothly, the excuse had to be overwhelming hordes of cockroaches.
Superior Soviet tactical awareness, even superior gear, was brushed under the carpet for half a century. The losers made excuses, and these excuses formed western understanding of the eastern front up until quite recently.
The Nazi German racism lived on, so to speak.
And of course, the bizarre irony of Ukrainians being nazi-collaborators back then, and nazi-cosplayers nowadays, makes it all even sadder. Imagine voluntarily siding with guys well-known to be hell-bent on ultimately destroying you, just because they for the time being found your hatred for Jews, Poles and Russians useful.
