At the start of the war , there was an idea floating around about creating a new Federal republic of Ukraine. Maybe that is what Russia should do  with the rest.

Take territory and keeping adding it to the FRU. And just bleed the old Ukraine of legitimacy.

Who said Russia was dependant? They have pipeplines to Turkey and CHina as well and massive LNG infrastructure and tankers. With the way the USA has spiked LNG prices they are making FAR more then they ever dreamed even without NS1 and 2.

The lowlife in the US is really pushing this point. "if Russia uses a nuke in Ukraine , that counts as an attack on Nato."
Both parties reiterated it now. Because the radiation will travel to nato borders.

How much soldiers could Nato bring to the fight if they were to enter Ukraine in the west for a conventional attack ?

    MAPS MISSING

Part of war 09/30/2022 night – the siege of Krasny Liman
    30 September, 2022 Zhukov

    17:45

the situation remains very difficult. The Krasny Lyman garrison now maintains the line of defense along the borders of the city. Physically, the road to Torskaya, to Kremennaya, has not yet been cut off. However, in fact, it is under the artillery control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the fields, "flying squadrons" were seen on lightly armored off-road vehicles. Such attacked with the first wave in the direction of Balakliya. Here their efforts are compensated by the heroic dedication of the defenders of the BARS unit, the Cossacks and the 20 Army.

Today in the area I saw the work of our attack aircraft at very low altitude. Artillery fire. Tanks and other armored vehicles are being sent to unlock the garrison.

the situation in the direction of Liman
    at 20.00 h on September 30, 2022

After the withdrawal from Drobyshevo and Yampol, the defense of the Russian army was established along the outskirts of Liman and the buffer zone around the Liman – Zarechnoye – Torskoye highway. Ukrainian forces are trying to completely block the corridor, but Russian troops have so far successfully repulsed the attacks.

According to preliminary estimates, at least 6,000 Ukrainian soldiers and foreign mercenaries are involved in the attack on Liman. Armored groups are trying to advance from Drobyshevo, Stavkov, Dibrovo and Yampol towards Liman.

From Torskoy, Russian Forces deployed reinforcements, including artillery, multiple rocket launchers and armored vehicles. Near Yampol and north of the Liman there are maneuver battles.

North of Zarechny, the Ukrainian military, supported by armored personnel carriers, tried to enter Terny along the dam crossing the Zherebets River, but were driven out of there by approaching Russian units and retreated to the western bank on Ivanovka. To reinforce the attack, the Forces of Ukraine hastily transfer units from near Seversk and Soledar, reserves of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. They have to partially deprotect the Soledar direction, where Wagner units and Donetsk and Lugansk militias are advancing.

The situation remains extremely tense, but for now the Russian troops still control Liman and slow down the enemy offensive. If the allied forces manage to contain the attack, defend the city and inflict heavy losses on the attacking Ukrainian forces, then the Russian troops will really take the initiative. In this case, the situation at the front can change dramatically.

    22:00 Poddubny

Well, parts of units of the Southern Military District approached, drove enemy mobile groups away from the Kremennaya – Torskoye highway. From the march they entered the battle. But the city is still under fire in some places, the threat is also from the Yampol Forest. In Liman, the guys cling heroically. The danger of encirclement still exists. There are many enemies. The enemy withdrew part of his forces from Severesk to reinforce the attacks on Liman.

    22:35
    t.me/vysokygovorit/9596

The situation with Liman is currently shrouded in the fog of war. According to some sources, there is fighting and the garrison is resisting, according to others, that the garrison retreated. In addition, the enemy attacks Yampolovka and Terny. At the moment, there is a battle on the Internet. Let's hope for reservations that, as they say, are adequate. The toughest battle for Liman continues.

    22:45

Despite the fact that at the moment at the headquarters someone is scratching his head and thinking that there may be no one left alive in Liman, according to our information, the city garrison is not only resisting, but even locally fighting back.

Starting at 19.00, the enemy was driven out of Stavki, the key point for keeping the neck of the bag open.

    23:05

Wounded fighters who came from Liman and are now in Maliki say that the Ukrainian Nazis attacked in a human chain near Liman yesterday. "I was furious, a crowd of about 30 men came out of the forest, formed a line and approached us, we started shooting with a machine gun and an AGS grenade launcher, and everyone from our position began to shoot at them, I saw bullets hitting people, they fell, but like crazy they kept coming. Then, when many of them fell, those who remained began to flee. How many we killed, I don't know, but many of them were killed. An hour later, another crowd came out of the same forest, under cover of an armored BMP, our mortar began to pull on them, and we started shooting at them. They left again. Then a shell hit us and they wounded me, I thought they were drugged because they were being mowed down, but they kept walking at the pace, without running.

One of many testimonies (and some video) that relate that the Ukrainians attack like zombies, a consequence of the use of combat methamphetamines possibly Captagon. On the Kherson front in the fighting this month some Ukrainian assaults carried out with fanaticism and regardless of losses were called "suicide attacks"

    The Siege of Liman
Chronicle of the fighting at the end of September 30, 2022

By the end of September 30, the Forces of Ukraine could not complete the operation to close the encirclement of Liman.

    ▪ After the arrival of reinforcements, Russian forces counterattacked in Stavki, in an attempt to expand the control zone north of Liman. At midnight on September 30, Russian troops recaptured the settlement.

Despite the fact that at the moment a draw has occurred in the direction of Liman, the outcome of the battle for Liman is still unclear. Not so many Russian reinforcements have been deployed, and the enemy is still several times superior in material and troops

special military operation in Ukraine: situation as of the end of September 30, 2022

    Summary of Readovka

Today it will go down in history! Russian President Vladimir Putin solemnly signed decrees on the admission of the DNR, LNR, Zaporozhe and Kherson regions to Russia. Russia has welcomed new territories and, most importantly, people to its large family. The whole room was chanting "Russia." The whole country sang.

️ ️ The situation on the fronts in the last 24 hours:

◽ In the Izyum-Slavyansk direction, our fighters were forced to retreat from Drobyshevo, which is north of Liman, and from Yampol, south of Liman. These settlements are currently in a gray zone. The defenses of the Russian Forces are lined up around the Liman-Zarechnoye-Torskoye highway. The enemy is trying to block the supply routes, but the Russian army is successfully repelling the attacks. Our bookings have been moved from Torskoye. There are counterattacks. The militants are also withdrawing reserves from near Soledar and Seversk in order to strengthen the attack and due to huge losses, but for now, the Russian Armed Forces are firmly defending Krasny Liman and may soon snatch the initiative from the enemy

️ ️ There are no particular changes in the southern direction. The situation is stable in most areas. This was influenced by the exhaustion of the Ukrainian troops. The most active area was Andreyevka. In addition, near Ternoviye Podi in the Nikolayev region, our air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-25.

    – In the Andreyevka sector, the enemy tried to storm Davydov Brod, but our forces anticipated the attack and preemptively attacked, destroying four tanks, one BMP and one armored vehicle, which led to the withdrawal of the insurgents. Our artillery also beat the retreating militants and left them pinned to the ground on the bank of the Ingulets River.

Terrorist attack: Ukrainian terrorists launched an artillery attack on the Orekhovo car market, where convoys of civilians were forced to travel to the liberated Zaporozhye region. Twenty-four people were killed and more than 30 injured. The UN expressed its condolences to the families of the dead refugees, but decided not to mention that it was the Ukrainian Armed Forces that shelled civilians.

Arrivals: Ukrainian artillery once again shelled the residential areas of the city of Energodar and the area adjacent to the nuclear power plant. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their regular attacks on the Donetsk agglomeration: Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka and other surrounding towns are under attack. Also in the center of Kherson, militants shelled a private house: two people were killed.

Caliber Missiles: The Russian Air Force destroyed the assembly workshops of the Ukrainian Grom-2 and Tochka-U missiles near the city of Dnipropetrovsk. High-precision strikes on the temporary deployment sites of the units of the 81 brigade of the AFU and a rocket and artillery weapons depot near Kramatorsk in the DNR destroyed up to two hundred nationalists, 23 pieces of military equipment and more than 30 tons of ammunition for cannon artillery and rockets. A platoon of US HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems was also hit near Nikolayev.

All over the world, while Zelensky is "begging" for Ukraine's admission to the North Atlantic Alliance, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg held a press conference on the annexation of new territories to Russia, where he made the "unprecedented" statement: "NATO condemns the Russian annexation of Ukrainian territory, but the alliance is not a party to the conflict. We heard it once before.

I am beginning to believe the garrison there is just bait and also to direct artillery and air strikes. Rather then go and pound Ukrainian fortification, just lure them out and rain hellfire on them. I would imagine the terrain is well mapped and keyed and there are a shit load of guns and rockets ready to take fire missions. The video of the carnage after this will be quite something.

NATO member states are free to declare war on Russia, and Russia is free to respond with Nuclear weapons against them.

With the shoddy state of the US Nuclear arsenal I'm not even sure if MAD is assured anymore, how many western pundits have claimed that a nuclear war is winnable? And for whom exactly? Seems like Russia has the upper hand to me.

    40.000 troops.

As that is give or take what they can call upon on their NRF (NATO Response Force)
Their vehicles are 60 percent operable.
Spare parts and vehicles are on backorder for at least a year or two.

    Personnel is sub-standard.
Not meeting physical demands, not enough active servicemen where only 45 to 50 percent of vacancy's filled.
    Not trained enough.

Munition stocks are what they use on training exercises on an year.
So they will run out in about 48-72 hours in any direct engagement.

Logistical capacity of NATO is almost non-existent.
they all hire almost solely civilian contractors.

Get this as bonus, the last winter training NATO did in Poland, the Polish Troops had to vacate all their barracks so the NATO troops could stay in there.
As they basically did not had winter gear and where about to freeze their troops asses off in standard winter conditions.

Personally i can confirm that, since 2006 i had to buy my own winter gear to prevent frostbite on exercises.
    It is pathetic really.

To just illustrate how bad NATO is at getting any war going.

    "Not my problem"
This guy in Afghanistan was in charge of ordering Diesel fuel for the Generators and vehicles.
In his handover-takeover. (where you bring your replacement up to speed) he forgot to show him the gigantic fuel bladders on base.
Result?, Our massive base ran out of Diesel.
Subsequently, the base suffered complete power failure and we no longer had mechanized patrols.
We just had foot patrols, took us three weeks to get back operational.

    "outsource everything"
New NATO vehicles are no longer maintained by own milltary maintenance.
They instead order their vehicles to precise specifications, witch is expensive to begin with.
And place all their vehicle maintenance under contract with these manufacturers
If we encounter some sort of failure ourselves, we had to call them.
you can imagine when you are in an warzone, nobody knows how to fix a problem.
    Can not start engine?.
    Army mechanic be like:
"lol i dunno, magnesium grenade into vehicle".

    "Slavic Help"
NATO Logistical could not keep up with the airlift capacity needed in Afghanistan.
It was just too much to fly everything in, and using helicopters and cargo aircraft to haul everything to bases.
So NATO struck an deal with Russia.
We could make use of Russian airspace, and we hired about every Russian and former soviet state private contractor to fly our shit.
I mean everything, Antonov's flew to our home NATO nations to pick up tanks and vehicles to fly to Afghanistan.
And MI-8's and MI-26's flew everything to keep the NATO war going.

    "do not think, just execute"
who asked you to think soldier?. Just execute!
    indeed....
There is incompetence in blindly following orders that is given.
Or....not being given orders at all, and just sit on your ass when all hell breaks loose.
    one nice example.
we asked to drop these propaganda flyers over an town to the U.S airforce.
we handed over this pallet with printed flyers and said "we need you to drop these flyers over x Town".
    "yeah, sure".
We never found the flyers in our patrols.
Long story short, no flyers in town.
But after a few days we had a very angry afghan at our gate.
surprisingly, a handful of our propaganda flyers we where looking fore.
The U.S Airforce flew over town, ......
But they just pushed the entire pallet with all flyers neatly packed in their boxes off the rear ramp.
That then crashed in some poor afghan's home.

    "Tower of Babel"
You think NATO is an unified bunch?. think again.
it can portray itself as such.
But if you ever tried speaking english with an frenchman, you know what i mean.
It is not good when your Chinook engineer uses bar napkins to draw pictures to his Spanish counterpart to what part he like to request.
    In this case....an replacement Window.
Communicating with the Baltic states or Poles?.
    Everything is "yes yes".
Especially poles, ....in exercises they literally shoot at allies and enemy's with the same amount of excitement.
I'm sure it is partially to blame on their soviet NVG's that can not tell an random bush from an vehicle.
And the other half total paranoia we can not get out of their heads.

    "America"
Yes.... like things where not bad enough.
You got these assholes running around in your NATO structure.
    Bringing Democracy where-ever they go.
What do they contribute?. literally zero.
They are good tough at pissing off your own local population.
drunk and disorderly, pissing against monuments.
Reminding you drunk they saved you in World war 2...
While canadians actually freed my nation.
Americans are called STD's in army circles for good reason.
once you have them. you can not get rid of them.
They believe themselves authority over all.
Stockpiling nukes and depleted uranium in weapon silos in your nation.
    Where they have sole authority.
Because they feel they alone are the masters in the universe.
"you know you are going to nuclear irradiate our nations with your depleted uranium right?"
"you want to want to win from the russians or not!?"
we EU troops: "the **** did you just say!?"
They are Occupiers of Europe since 1945. I and a lot of other nation's veterans see it that way.

"Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones"
    NATO HQ.
I have been there several times.
I had a unique role because of my accomplishments.
I sometimes had to visit Brussel's NATO HQ for business.
If you want an example of an dumb collection senior officers that think the world revolves around them and their U.S overlords. look no further.
These people solely exist to kiss the ass of the U.S. selling their own nation's interests in the process.
Promoted trough their armies for their total obedience to the U.S war machine.
They are extremely delusional of the real-world logic and doctrine's of how an actual war is waged.
They actively shove new developments of weapon developments of pier-adversary's under the table.
It is not to be discussed with respect and understanding, but only for when propaganda purposes suits it, and then in the negative sense.
And this is disseminated down the ladder to unit briefings.
The moment you under-estimate your enemy. is the moment you have lost.
Also, this disdain for other cultures and openly mocking their legitimate national interests is disgusting.

    "War Machine"
In Afghanistan, When we got air support from Americans we learned their trigger happy attitude.
    It resulted in warcrimes.
When we confronted them with it when we where on KAF airbase. They explained.
It is more expensive to take an bomb on an flight, return home. remove it from the wing. inspect it, and store it.
Than it is to just order an complete new bomb from the factory and take that out instead.
The German Fennek is an similar example.
It has an notoriously vulnerability to IED's. Its armour plating is welded right down the driver seat.
if an IED explodes there, it will smear the driver in red paste all over the interior.
The manufacturer and government knows. But it would require an armor overhaul.
They decided it is cheaper to spend 3000 euro on an funeral that overhaul the vehicles.

I'm not worried for real, but some subconcious part of my brain is still thinking about how to immediately bail if this dark September evening turns into day all of a sudden. Funny in a sense, how it's become a somewhat realistic scenario, caused by unrelenting western support to a by all conceivable standards corrupt fascist shithole.

I think the fairest compromise for Ukraine, and one that would denazify them once and for all, is that a Ukrainian Republic can be established west of the frontier that existed before the Molotov-Ribbentrop. Complete Denazification, and they can be given back to Poland and become Warsaw's problem. This assumes there is increased integration between Russia, Belarus, and at least Kazakhstan and some of the central Asian republics and then the Russian federation can exist much as it did in 1939.

The only way Ukraine gets M1A1s or Leopards is if the Ukrainian Luftwaffle does the biggest resurrection act since Jesus Christ. In an environment where Russia has overwhelming superiority if not supremacy in Artillery, close Air Support, and rockets, the M1A1's mystique would be severely undermined. These tanks would lose their mystique especially if they were to be placed in the hands of raw crews with little to no training, backed by inadequate logistics chain (machine shops for parts, munitions depots, fuel dumps) that would be bombed out of existence, and definitely if the US give Ukraine the crappiest M1A1s it had without any of the newest technologies in guidance and fire control systems because they do not want Russia getting a close look at the latest models (the same reason why we won't be seeing Armata and Su-57 at the Front). Abrams did well in the desert because because Iraq's air force was destroyed before the ground war began, Saddam's generals had no c3, and because Saddam's tanks were Soviet rejects and domestically made knock offs made of low grade steel and that used training rounds.

There are reports that the UkroNazi forces in their mighty offensive towards Lyman had so heavy losses and spread out so thin that they (the morons in Kiev/Brussels/Wasghington) are trying to bring in reinforcements from Kramatorsk and Slovyansk. Maybe now some dudes here get it why this operation (and not the one conducted by the UkroNazis) has to go one for another week or so.
Allied forces reportedly punching back hard on the Krasny Liman font. Good news!

IMHO it has seemed reasonable for weeks that the Russians have used Krasny Liman as bait to entice the Ukrops to commit the bulk of their forces from the Kharkov offensive. Ukies want to develop their offensive to cross the southern bend of the Oskol and push on into Northen Lugansk and retake the Severdonetsk, but Krazy Liman stands in their direct path. Zelly the coke-snorting trouser-less NATOista man-bitch desperately needs another PR optics dime-bag, but Russia is working hard to deny him. Russian defenders are greatly outnumbered, but they have overwhelming advantage in arty and CAS, and their fluid defenses allow them to set up kill boxes into which the orc human waves pour in and die from the incoming dakka dakka. When the orc horde gets close, they pull back to a new line, rinse and repeat.

Russian reinforcements seem to be prioritising the task of blocking ukies turning north and threatening Kupyansk from the eastern bank, and Zellie seems so fixated on optics that they are stubbornly throwing their troops into the grindr (pun intended) around Liman.

If I had to guess (Razz ) I'd suggest that Russia will hold Liman as its now a Russian city and they are not about to surrender Russian territory the day after the DPR is officially welcomed into the Russian national space. The 58th would not be deployed there to extract the defenders but to ensure the city is held. Ukie flanks on the northern salient look to be over-extended and vulnerable to a counterattack, but its possible that while some pressure may be applied there, Russia maybe looking at a bigger demonstration of power & resolve. eg an armoured column pushing down into Kharkov oblast from Belgorod. Whatever form the Russian escalation will take, the Ukies won't likely keep troops around Krasny Liman once they see a big armoured thrust piercing fast and deep into their rear. Oh dear, more grindr jokes coming I fear... Razz

Zellie likes a good hard rodgering, but only after his snozzle is filled with Colombias finest grade, and only from his Bandera thug minders and his NATO "advisors". Once the counterattacks begin in earnest I expect we see a rapid change in his demeanour... clown

Putin Denounces West, Russia Will Follow Own Path; Russia Annexes Four Regions, Counterattacks Liman

Good vid by A. Mercouris regarding Putins speech and what has been happening around Liman these last few weeks (or at least, we way he sees it). The important take-away is that Russia has asserted the total independance of the Russian cultural and geopolitical space from Europe and the West in general. Great stuff, and have been waiting for this quite literally for years. Gloves are off. Wonderful stuff. attack
