Entirely different situation. The Russians have so much towed guns they don't know what to do with them. 1 or a dozen guns on the exhibition is nothing. They probably consume dozens of guns per week from barrel wear alone.

Not at all, because they have a living military industry tasked to produce hundreds of pieces if asked and paid.
And they have been both.
They are producing barrels "like sausages" and those worn pieces are steadily refurbished.
To make a proper perspective, PzH2000 was a substantial success of the KMW export, bringing about 350 pcs in the 30 years.
It is not in production anymore. Just "can be delivered on request" status.
MSTS was made in some 1200 pcs, and is being produced at the very moment.
Assisted by a Hiacynt-S, that was made in about 2000 pcs
And both have the towed versions, made in bigger numbers.

The stocked 2S7 does not disappear from the storage bases because melted, but all of those were heading the repair facilities, and refurbished/modernize to Malka status.
It is 2S5 that is particularly interesting because that is quite an unusual piece. While being 152mm caliber, it's charges are taken directly from a 203mm 2S7. That makes it the longest-range conventional ammo artillery piece well into the 80s.
I will bet rubles to peanuts, that very soon we will see a next gen of artillery rounds for all the pieces Russkie are using, and not only Malka will reach 70 km, but 2S5 as well, or even more - the charge is very powerful, the barrel is long, and the gun is very robust&solid. With a lighter round of 152mm propelled with 203 mm charges, it must have the potential to reach further than 203 mm round.

Not true...Russians showed much more than one single howitzer.

You have all, from antitank missiles (Jevelins), armored vehicles, Boats....even captured UAV (Bayraktar).


Main difference is that Ukraine showed destroyed "Russian" equipment which with high probability could be destroyed Ukrainian equipment.
