3 large amphibious assault ships in 14 months, has that been done by anyone in peacetime before?

On January 30, 2021, the lead universal amphibious assault ship of project 075 arrived at the naval base of the PLA's Southern Fleet in Zhanjiang.
On the deck of the new Chinese UDC, along with the models of the Changhe Z-8 and Z-20F helicopters, a mockup of a new unmanned aerial vehicle of the helicopter type, presumably the naval version of the AVIC AR500C UAV with a lightweight radar with AFAR, was seen.

I think thats what the future type-076 is supose to be.
Basicly a 075 with catapults.

For the first time, the PLA Navy demonstrated the flights of shipborne Z-8CJ helicopters from the deck of the new Chinese universal amphibious assault ship Hainan (tail number 31) of Project 075.

One thing to note is Type 075 ships are named after provinces. Ships named after provinces are classified as carriers in Chinese navy, not as amphibious assault ships which are named after mountains. Technically China currently operates 3 carriers: Liaoning, Shandong, Hainan.

Looking forward to seeing Ka-52K on Type 075. Ka-52K is a beast. It has far more powerful engines than WZ-10 and carries Kh-35U long range anti ship / land attack missiles.

Do those antennas really have to be in the most inconvenient place on the whole ship?

They obviously can go into a horizontal position as on the Wasp class ships.

Probably positioned there just to prevent electronic interference.

Type-055 destroyer

A type 075 and a fast support ship from the 901-class sail together. Just for size the 901s are 240 meters in lengh meaning that the 075s are atlest the same or even more.

The second Type-075 ship in new sea trails. Cant be long before she gets commissioned as well.

Latest pictures of the second vessel. Now manned by sailors in naval uniform so the commission date cant be far of.

It will be interesting to see where they sail when they go for their fitting out and testing voyage.... lots of very friendly countries around the world sent ships to visit the artificial islands they built in the South China Sea... would love to see them repay such respect and kindness with visits to those countries home waters...

A nice marriage between the Mistral and the old Tarawa ships. A very good looking ship.

I hope they don´t end as the other ships the Chinese build in the last decade, swimming around in some harbor, never leaving the 200 mile zone. Damn, send your ships to the med or the carribean!

Why ? They don't care about those zones. What they want is to control the pacific.

Everyone knows the modern world center will shift from europe towards the pacific.

Mediteranean is full of migrants destroying the unity of the EU. Caraibean sea is mostly used to send cocaine in the US destroying their population. Why China would  bother making it safer ?
