Short answer: NO. There's not enough new information to warrant creating a separate thread.

    Some points for specialized threads

    1. New Automatic ΑΑ 57mm gun development

    2. S-300V Army SAM System (members let have this thread in mind because often discussion opened in the S-300/400/500 thread in Russian Air Force Section)

Today i had a nasty problem with the Adroid trying to get to this forum and the Banner is connected with popup/virus when you click on it to redirect to the homepage. It warns the user with horribly google translated text like "If das Problem does nicht weg geht" and tries to intimidate the user with a fake "Download bar" that a virus is progressing so you have to click on a specific link to delete the virus, the link is the actual android virus.

If Vlad could check it out that there is a hidden malware/virus/add connected to the banner would be good to get rid of it. I know addblocks have been installed but it still has the banner connected to it. Would be nice if you could clean this site. Thanks in advance.

I see a few complaints about the banner ads.  I have no control over them nor do I make money from it.  Please use AdBlock on PC and Adguard apk for Android.  Both are free and make browsing an enjoyable experience on both platforms.

When I made this post a few days ago, the link I had inserted was working. Now it seems that the post that I had written, which was the target of the link, doesn't exist any more.

I seem to have lost the ability to view embedded videos, the videos themselves being replaced by a vertical black band. I have tried clearing my Google cache, and restarting Chrome, PC etc. but it still comes out the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It isn't just some videos though, it is all of them, even the most recently posted ones.

    George1,

Don't pretend there is no issue.
Go check yourself what happened to all the videos on the various threads.
Omnious spud has reported a problem.
I am getting the same here. All I can see is a narrow black band where all the videos are supposed to be (for the last couple of days).
I just posted a video on the Yemen thread. Same problem.

YT made some changes to their embed code.  Nothing I can do but wait to see if the motion team will issue a fix. They are still working in Firefox so you can use that as a hack until this gets resolved.

    Is there no vetting process?
There is a troll who has joined, and has basically kept the same name 3 or 4 times, with just minute differences. Every time he gets banned, he simply resigns on, with just one letter difference.

    What is the point?

Im no computer expert, but isnt it that mods can ban his IP? Or if he's still persistent (using proxies) then just ban his accounts whenever a poster shows signs he is just trolling. He will eventually get tired of registering and then doing the same thing over and over again, unless he is under payroll to thrash russian sites as per order by his NSA/CIA Nato web brigades Rolling Eyes

At the moment I am unable to send private message to other member of this forum.

Did I violate some rules and that is the punishment ? Or did the forum changed something and I failed to notice ?

    Sorry for any inconveniences.
