I tried to access this site with Chrome, a few hours ago it worked fine.

Now I get a black background with the text "Blocked by Web Filter".

I am sending this via Tor browser.(They can't stop me)

How long has it been like that?

Mike lives in US; he may be able to shed some light on this.
It has always been working fine for me, possibly there is some kind of browser bug that doesn't let you access certain sites.

    Two questions:

How can a forum member delete all of his posts quickly?

How can a forum member delete his account?

Quickly would be a problem I think... going to your profile there is a link that will list all the posts a member has posted, but you would have to go through manually to delete them all I think.

deleting an account would not be possible I think for a member either...

Can one of the moderators please change the name of this thread to "Forum Issues". Forum issues can then be discussed here rather than as off-topic items in other threads.

I suspect the main thing stopping you using an animated GIF as an avatar is its size.

Resize it to the size requirements and it should work AFAIK.

Hmm, unuseful Avatar settings for this forum. Limitations kill just every awesome gif there is, with 64KB that is just to low for anything military related from a video.

    Hi Admin/Moderators,

Some of the pages in RMF, simply no longer exists. So when you try to find that page you get an error message:

For example, I was looking into the thread "Russian nuclear forces by the number" and I get this above error message for Page 4 of this thread:

" No posts exist for this topic".  However this can't be true, because a cached copy of this page is available if you do a Google search.

Any specific reason why pages are "disappearing"? Thanks.

Probably several posts were moved into another thread due to the off-topic comments.

But Werewolf there was nothing off topic on that particular thread. Morpheus and another forum member was discussing about Russian MARVs.So it was completely related to that thread. I cannot post links yet, else I would have posted the URL of the cached copy.

That was just a guess, because off-topic talk and afterwards moving the off-topics to more appropriate threads happens sometimes.

Just a little reorganization, Military Multimedia has been taken from the bottom under General Discussion and given its own category near the top of the homepage.

Is there any way to resize large pictures that gets posted? It messes up the pages and doesn't show it in full. I'm not against posting large pictures, but it would be helpful if these pics automatically gets resized to sizes within the forum page width. There should not be actual reduction in size, but the original pics should show as 600 or 800px in width with the option to see the original size by clicking on to it.

    Thanks a lot. Excellent!
Its fine for me now as its not messing up the page. I think other posters can post their size preference. A 1024px would be fine as well, the basic thing is larger images should not mess up the pages.

You have been going on about that thread for months. One of two things happened, it either deleted or merged into another thread while Google still has it cached.

640 x 480 is good... there are links above it to allow a user to enlarge or view in separate tab if they want, but 640 x 480 loads faster and is easy to see on screens not running a very high resolution.
