If they go they will have to push from Belarus and make a landing in that half island part under Moldova under the threat of Harpoon missiles.

For the eastern part they won't let any land to ukraine so Kiev will at least be on the border (Dniepr). So once the russian army comes there the fighting will probably destroy Kiev.

On the other hand, having the Dniepr as a border will strenghten Ukrainian position and will be a natural obstacle in any future war if Ukraine goes into NATO. And ukrainians will keep harassing them with artillery accross the river so the fighting will continue 10 years at least.

Russia has no other choice than take all Ukraine. So IMO the plan is right now is to kill as many ukros as possible and let just the normal peopke that refuse the war who either hide or leave the country because once they are the only ones left they will be easy to rule over if they annexe the country.

With the fanatics they will have attacks every day if they annexe it just like US in afghanistan or Iraq. So until they kill at least 80% of them they won't push to take territory.

If Russia takes zapo, Niko, Odessa, they can then keep forcing north from Odessa/Niko, and let Ukraine leave it's troops protecting Dnipro that ties them up while Russia makes headway towards Kiev, Kiev will eventually be forced to withdraw troops from Dnipro to protect the capital that's how u take Dnipro. As for Kharkiv best to encircle it cutting it off from kiev won't be long before the Nazi get killed by the local population and territorial troops, then a surrender by those troops. I think most agree that a large chunk of Ukraine needs to be taken, a part made neutral and the far west will most likely turn into Nazi enclave or join Poland. I think hoping that whole of Ukraine will be taken is highly unlikely.

Yes it was confirmed in the news. The F-16s and training to come from Europe. That's another way for the USA to force European nations to buy its expensive shit pile the F-35. Just wait until they are shit down by S-400 and the west will say oh they are old models not new upgraded models as somehow to save face that the F-16 is good. There is no way Ukrainian pilots will be able to learn to fly the F-16 within a short time, if that indeed happens then it won't be Ukrainian pilots flying them but ex European pilots or current NATO pilots u can't just learn a whole new aircraft in weeks or indeed a few months and expect them to be at a war standard.

And they are probably ready to go with Polish pilots. Wouldn't surprise me to see them in the air next week. The US is losing this war. They will do anything to try and turn it.

Russia will be ready to bomb them on the ground. The US doesn't care about the lives of the pilots so these suicidal retards will do risky and insane things with them. So Russia has to keep a good eye on them

On these terms it's possible to come to agreements with many forces in the Ukraine that would be ready to oppose Zelensky if the conditions are right.

Russia should have and should still create a federal republic of Ukraine. Put anything that isn't joining Russia into the federal republic of Ukraine. De- recognize the Kiev regime and keep fighting the war.

There was pamphlets floating around about this idea at the start of the war. But nothing has been said about it since. As long as the US embassy runs Ukraine , there will be no agreements about anything. They also don't care if the war keeps going.

Yeah no sh**. Why does Russia always go through the motions and have some investigative BS. And then they say this. Why didn't they just say it was the CIA like I did on the day it happened ?

And about Zuluzny. Why would the US admit that he died? They would rather let it all be speculation instead. Why not. Now these pics from Cyprus allegedly are floating around and a lot of pro Russian ppl even , think he's alive. This is how it pays to be dishonest. Always. Russia should learn from this.

Some are saying that those pics are from 2018 in Mariupol.

    Situation at Bakhmut:
#RussianArmy took control over the remaining areas south of Yuvileina street after #UkrainianArmy withdrew towards southern positions. Now only 0,6 sq Km of the city remains under Ukrainian control while Russians now controls 99% of it.

    @MikaelValterss1
NEWS UPDATE BAKHMUT EVENING MAY 19
A third of ukrainian Bakhmut was taken today and artillery preparations for tonights attack are ongoing. Heavy losses when ukrainian units retreated. Today Wagner forces captured 330 000 m2 and UkrAF still control around 600 000 m2. We know that Wagner forces took the red areas, but the russians have taken more territory than the red area but we don't know exactly where.

The habitation limit according to Wagner are along the yellow line. The unknown 160 000m2 captured are in the yellow area in the west (A) or in the east (B). It can also be a mixture of both areas that are captured. The part of the yellow area that's not captured and the green areas are contested. At present russian artillery are bombarding the remaining ukrainian territory in preparation for tonight's attack. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

When Dominoes area fell the ukrainian defenders mainly retreated towards Khromove. The remains of five ukrainians battalions retreated to the Khromove area. Remains of two other ukrainian battalions retreated to the forest lines in the direction of Ivanivske. During the retreat both forces endured massive russian shelling. New ukrainian defence line has now been established outside Bakhmut. Both in Khromove towards Bakhmut and in the treelines southwest of Bakhmut.

In Bakhmut Wagner reserves has established a defenceline in the NW towards Khromove. But no fighting is reported. All is quiet on the Khromovefront.

Tonight we'll see a new storming attempt from the Wagner forces In the Tetris area in the south. The ukrainian defenders seems mainly be the remnants of two battalions, much special forces and foreign volunteers. There seems also to be some ukrainian squads and single soldiers still trying to continue fighting in both the Nest and the Dominoes areas. Hat's off to them, those are brave warriors and will be well recieved in Valhalla.

I keep having flashbacks of Iraqi pilots getting shot down in Iraq I. Sorry, but your three months of training ia going to be very lethal to all pilots in Herr Sean Goeringpenn's Lolwaffle. Lots and lots of US mystique is literally going to go up in smoke in the next several weeks. The US public and the Ukrainian public will be kept in the dark but intel agents will know, and even in the US there will be clues. F-16 SHOOTS DOWN EVIL ROOOSKIE will get front page coverage, but once Russian planes start knocking them out of the sky we will be dazzled with previously sound air to air missiles launched by falcons accidentally shooting down the planes that launched them, and then we will be told Ukraine needs billions in weapons upgrades to stop these "accidents." I cannot wait until M1A2 konigsleopards start going boom, the fantasy will be amazing.

Does anyone know the purpose of raining WP on Bakhmut? I doubt there is much left to burn there is there? Does it set of IEDs and mines? Does it suffocate? Is it to demoralize? Block snipers night vision?

Its completely demoralizing to the Ukrainian fighting man as it burns something fierce. It also helps mask your own movements.

Post  GarryB Sat May 20, 2023 4:24 am

The US is now saying the Patriot is back in operation after minor repair. Its a pity that the Russians hardly ever provide photo evidence of their claims.

They fired off 32 missiles so they hit probably 5 empty launchers and likely the radar array so the minor repair would be replacement launch vehicles and a new radar.

The job of Patriot was to defend the city and itself and it failed in both roles.

It offers a good protection against advancing troops.

    But does it?

Didn't stop the Germans or the Soviets during WWII in either direction...

The reason the Russian BMPs are amphibious is so rivers are no longer obstacles...

With MLRS and US satelittes intel' ukro can attack the positions where russians would try to cross and put minefields around.

Which is why the ukros need to be eliminated as a force because they will continue to launch attacks on Russians and Russia...

Crossing is possible but with lot of losses. We already saw such bad endings previously in the war on both sides when they tried to cross minor rivers. Here it is a big one and would be more difficult.

Crossing of large rivers is something they practise and are equipped for... not easy, but not impossible either.

Best way to cross is actually through cities on the Dniepr where artillery fire is difficult thabks to buildings and with lot more bridges and civilian boats. In the open you are at the mercy of artillery and missiles.

Russia needs to keep destroying Orc artillery and it is easiest when it reveals its location by firing...

Most of their missiles get shot down when fired at military targets.

Its going to be on corps and people making over 400K.

So the people owning shops and businesses will be charged more to fix America... how will they respond... by putting up the price of their products and services?

We are witnessing huge Ukrainian diplomatic offensive right now.
Zelensky was last week in Germany, Italy, France and UK. His wife was in S. Korea at the same time.

All those missiles landing in Kiev... sounds like he wants to be somewhere else most of the time...

Medvedev I think said on twitter it's time to get ride of him after the attack on the Kremlin.

The return of the Zelensky before the Israeli PM told him he was safe... Bunker bunny.... of course what he is doing to his own people pretty soon he will be hiding from them too.

400k a year for a couple in states like California or New York is upper middle class. They are already paying about 50% of their income in taxes when you add federal, state, local, and sales tax. More pertinently, most of those people making 400k are producing productive income.

People earning 400K per year have accountants to hide their money in trusts and buy failing businesses so they can write off tax payments and pay almost nothing in tax.

Look at how much Trump was paying. In Australia the most wealthy guy in the 1990s was paying zero income tax and his companies were paying bugger all too... because that is what accountants do.

Yes Russia is totally overshadowed by Ukraine diplomatically or more precisely it is getting huge slaps right and left straight to its face past few days.

Russia is signing deals with all those countries Zelensky visited except the western G7 countries of course... they buy their Russian goods from third countries at a good markup.

On these terms it's possible to come to agreements with many forces in the Ukraine that would be ready to oppose Zelensky if the conditions are right.

There is no reason to believe Russia could believe anything signed by that lot... from Minsk to date they are not honest.

When their military collapses move forward and accept their surrender and take out the obvious war criminals for trial and release the rest while taking and occupying the rest of the country... then start referendums giving them choices that Russia will accept and let them decide, but all the while hunt down the criminals and put them on trial for what they have done... when you start doing that perhaps some of those who fled the Ukraine that hate Zelensky can probably resettle and be good neighbours.

Some regions will be very unhappy but Russia does not need to shell them like Kiev did to regions not happy with Kievs rule.

People really not happy will try terrorism and be arrested or killed along with those that help them. Other people not happy can move to the west... I am sure the US will offer them green cards... they love their nazis.

If Cuba was regime changed by China, defense pacts were written between both countries or were in the process to go through, and Cuba was getting more military support, was preparing for offensives, and started seriously discussing openly the retaking of Guantanamo bay, what do you think America would do? Well the first legit regime change America has done in many generations. I'd be proud.

Personally I think Cuba should dig a trench 500m wide and 40-50m deep around the entire perimeter of Guantanimo Bay and use it as a land fill... put all the rubbish from the island in there... the smellier the better... let them stay as long as they want.

Russia's greatest enemy and the only real one is the West.

The west sees Russia as an enemy because it has interests that make it so... Russia has a lot of talent and resources and some western countries want to break that up so they can take advantage of the chaos to get some for itself.

Open conflict with the west is not the solution, the solution in this situation is to wait for the American people to vote Biden out of office... he is the one driving this... when he is gone there wont be anyone else who wants to throw money away at Kiev of all places, they will be looking to rebuild the US and the west... which is not happening with a war against Russia or China or both.

Russia does not need Kharkov or Odessa, Russia needs victory against the West.

Denying such regions to nazis is a good thing for Russia and for those regions... they got rid of the nutters in Chechnia and they can do the same in Ukraine... there are plenty of non nazis in these regions who can take over and take care of business... they know who the nazis are...

And how do you suggest Russia achieves that without conquering the whole of Ukraine and turning it into a Russian protectorate, landlocked without Black Sea access and a standing military? Or would you rather sign Minsk 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 respectively?

I suspect there will become a point where western funding stops and they run out of cannon fodder and their frontlines collapse in multiple places and Russian forces can advance anywhere they please because all the forces across the country have been gutted of all the young and willing leaving a dads army remnant in the other regions who are more likely to talk and allow Russian forces in to keep the peace while referendums are organised and run.

Which forces? The only people that had the power and coordination to oppose the nazi scum joined the LDPR resistance from 2014 onwards. All other opposition groups are either in jail, dead or hiding in fear.

I think there will be quite a few who got caught up in all the excitement and didn't really think things through properly who are now realising they made a mistake and those in charge have gone too far.

Sirsky meanwhile is older, and may prove to be more conservative in his war-fighting strategy, that would actually disadvantage Russia. Still though, I'd say it's quite a plausible explanation too.

Well if he turns out to be more capable they can always target and kill him too...

    They have that luxury.

The Russian political leadership figured that Zaluzhny was too much a darling of the US, too well connected to them, too committed to the current course and ideological in his nationalism

Perhaps hitting the pro US Orcs could be a new strategy... to weaken Zelensky and the US by eliminating their buddies in the infrastructure in the military and politics...

    Hell on Earth tonight

Looks a bit like a scifi channel movie with alien spacecraft coming out of hyperspace above their target... covered in lights.

Does anyone know the purpose of raining WP on Bakhmut?

They are saying only 1% of the area is under orc control and that area getting covered in incendiaries looks rather larger than 1% of the area.

I suspect if this is Bakhmut that these are historical videos from the last decade or so and those rocket delivered incendiaries are being fired by Orc launchers at civilians  who are resisting.

I don't see any reason to land troops. They can all move down from Belarus, close the western border and use the existing railways for logistics as the move south. As the Ukraine military responds to the invading force there will be opportunities to cross the Dneiper and open another front. Once the supplies are shut off from the West Ukraine cannot keep fighting for more then 2-3 weeks.

They love taxing the slumps making 400k because that just limits their future competition.

Death taxes are also part of the equation, i seriously doubt anyone making 400K is paying 50% tax in the USA. Yes I agree that wealth transfers need to be heavily taxed above a certain threshold.

Top federal marginal tax rate on income in the US is 37%. Top state income tax rate in California is 12.3%, in New York it is 10.9%. Sales tax in California is 7.25% and in New York 4%. Additional wage tax 1.5% in San Francisco and 3.8% in NYC. This doesn't include property tax, gas tax, excise taxes on utilities, phone service, alcohol, tobacco, automobiles, insurance ect.  Still think no one pays 50%?

MARGINAL tax rate. If the top marginal income tax rate is 49.5%, then you never pay 50%. Other taxes everyone pays Don't wanna pay sales tax don't spend. Property tax? your choice to live in a big house. Then there are all the deductions, credits etc.

$500K per Ukrainian soldier sounds like BS. Any one have an original link to a UA website stating this?

    Monday, 28 February 2022, 9:54 PM

The Government of Ukraine has decided to pay 15 million hryvnias in one-time assistance to the families of the fallen servicemen in Ukraine’s Armed Forces who took part in the armed resistance to the occupiers. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/02/28/7326937/

Present $US rate would make that more like $400,000 per but you get the picture...

Russia orders arrest of ICC prosecutor

The British lawyer who charged President Vladimir Putin with 'war crimes' is now facing charges himself

The arrest warrant for Putin and the other lady for removing children from a war zone being shelled by their enemy was purely political, so really that is what this is too.

How are they gonna get their hands on this scumbag? Can they kidnap him and smuggle him to Russia?

Their chances of getting him are not good but the last time those pussies in the ICC decided to start arresting American citizens the US put sanctions on a whole bunch of them and all of a sudden those charges were all dropped.

I doubt this will have the same effect because Russias ability to kidnap people from third countries is no where near as developed as Americas ability to kidnap such people, but it sends a clear message I think.

Garry, the winner decides everything and any city in Ukroshitstan can be liberated without physical capture.

I agree... the Russian forces can surround large urban areas and either negotiate a surrender for Russian troops to go in and ensure stability, or if they want to fight it out cut them off and let them wait for 6 months without supplies or support and then see what their answer is.

Areas that surrender get to have a referendum about their future, but of course only with options that Russia would find acceptable.

Russia is now cleaning house and wont take on the idiots and losers that used to be part of its camp... there is no rush to restore old borders or incorporate all former republics back to Russia... if they don't want it that is fine, but Ukraine is a special case... they are shelling and bombing and attacking Russia so that threat needs to be eliminated, and we know from previous peace agreements that they will use peace to build up to have another go later.

For a while they will say we are tiny only 10% of Russias population we had no chance of winning, we are not threat... bad Russia... well you had every opportunity to be a neighbour if not friend and could have grown and developed quite nicely but instead you are going to get wiped out as a hostile force.

    To Garry...

That "person" defends the ideology that led to all this and you do what you think you should do..
Anyone who glorifies the Bolsheviks is my enemy and I will not give up !
If you think the opposite, then YOU are my enemy too.
It's not a problem, do what you think because you are the main administrator and creator of the page. I stand by who I am and I will NOT change.
If you do that, we're done and from now on I'll just be an observer.

    1. Death to NATO and Western hegemony..
    2. I hate Nazis and Bolsheviks..
    3. And of course, Ukroshitstan was not even supposed to exist... we already know the reason - red rats..
    4. Russia must get rid of its red heritage, liberals and western "values".

But when I think about it, the mere threat of a blockade is enough for me - greetings to everyone except the Bolsheviks and the Nazis.
    Goodbye.

I am in complete favour of assassinating this scumbag. They think that they can do anything without facing any real consequences. A horrific death for any of these judges would put fear into their hearts, and the rest would hide like rats for fear of being killed. That would teach them a good lesson. But modern Russia isn't the USSR. It doesn't have the political will to become the big, scary monster that the West rightfully deserves. The ruthless and fearsome KGB was long gone.

Garry, I don't even engage with that character. He chose to dig up what was very much a side topic from weeks ago again.

Out of nowhere, he begins (again) calling me a "satan", "vermin", a "demon", "antiChrist" and such like.
Don't you think its inevitable and completely understable that people will react to such unprovoked abuse?

All because I dislike feudalism. Even more astounding because I'm not even "Bolshekik"!

When we have extremism like that, together with the openly Nazi/Fascist, its inevitable that the forum will head into a spiral. Notice he's now describing YOU as his "enemy"!

An interesting take on the Khmelnitski explosions that apparently took out a major DU stockpile - from an expert.
Recommended for those that think DU is just toxic or even completely harmless! Laughing

Who thinks this fake use of WP in Bakhmut is a fake so they can justify dropping incendiaries on Russia?
