I thought they are supplying the ship launched SAM RIM-7 Sea Sparrow, not the AAM AIM-7 Sparrow.

The original RIM-7E was capable to fly at about mach 2+, between 30 to 15,000 metres (98 to 49,213 ft), with a range of 15-22 kilometres (8.1-11.9 nmi) (depending on the target height). The RIM-7F enhanced the performances, but also the proximity fuse versus low flying targets, as the minimum altitude was reduced to 15 metres (49 ft) or less.

It is still in service and its effectiveness in a real war will be interesting. Hope for the USN's sake it works well or it could be embarrassing.

Since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, 951 Bundeswehr servicemen have filed reports for dismissal from the ranks of the armed forces due to unwillingness to participate in hostilities.

According to the head of the German Peace Society, Michael Schulze, many of the current Bundeswehr servicemen were deceived by the advertising campaigns of the armed forces, which have nothing to do with reality.

In turn, the German Ministry of Defense should increase the number of armed Forces by 18,000 people by 2031. Whether this will be fulfilled is a big question.

All this talk about Orthodox Christmas truce in order to score points with Global South is BS. Global South is on Russian side, because they are against US and rest of the Western world. And sides were already picked in February.
Reaction of nationalist Russian circles, which are also most religious, says it all and they are completely against it. I don't see the point in this.

If I was Russian I'd want a quick end to all this and cruel blows to Ulraine would not upset me that much at this point. I think Russia needs to bust some heads. Those "allies supposedly supporting them need to be more open in this. Russia cannot be alone

The coups and color revolutions and agreements that were all lies by neocons, neolibs and centrists have been what proved to anyone with a brain that Russia is in the right.

I feel sorry for the ordinary Ukrainian soldiers, who die in vain in Soledar and Bakhmut, who fall into Russian hands. I watched several private videos, they really die like rain and in large numbers, the Russians just go through cheese. It's over for Soledar

If I was Russian I'd want a quick end to all this and cruel blows to Ulraine would not upset me that much at this point.

A fast war gets many Russian soldiers killed, saves the EU's economy and opens up the Ukraine to a massive Slav-ISIS insurgency that would plague Russia for years to come. Russia needs to slowly and methodically annihilate the ukronazis, mercenaries, NATO's weapon stockpiles and the European economies before assimilating 2/3rd's of the country into Russia and leaving the other 1/3rd as a demilitarized, denazified wasteland full of Galician goatfuckers.

I've seen some videos with elderly Ukrainian "soldiers" looking more like a beggar than a fighter.
These people don't want to fight for Zelensky: they have to, otherwise they will be shot... I feel sorry for these people too... unlike an Azov for example.

Since I know that you are mostly Christians here and tomorrow is Christmas (for us Serbs and Russians), I just want to greet you all.
Let the pussies cry and wail, the result will be clear at the end - a Russian victory..

Realistically it would take 200,300 thousand troops to storm this area and cleanse it alone

Wagner Forces supported by the 1st Army Corps of the Russian Federation's Lugansk Oblast engaged in offensive operations in the Artemovksk direction

The Wagner Assaultmen were able to advance and level the frontline with the aid of the 1st Army Corps of the RUaf Artillery, Wagnerite Artillery, Russian National Guards (Grozny Akhmat), and artillery of the 10th Guards Motor Rifle Division.

NOTE: not sure who the 10th Guards Motor Rifle Division is ?? Perhaps a typo and they mean the 20th Guards Motor Rifle Division
