IMO in the next couple of days Russia will send a formal declaration of war since they accepted the referendum results.

Zelensky will be a target just like Kiev infrastructure, they civilian comms and internet, energy and so on.

Concerning NS 1 and 2 it is weired they got attacked because gas was barely transiting. It seems it is the US but I don't really beleive it, it would give Russia a permission to blow up a US target, and a civilian one.

Actually it would impact ukrainian forces. No more electricity would be a huge loss for them.

They also seem to use civilian infrastructures like communications and internet a lot.

Yes. That i think should be the minimum. Especially Odessa and Nikolaev as it will cut Ukraine access to black sea, thus if they still around and want to trade via Sea.. they pay taxes and tariffs to Novorossiya.

I'll be honest. seeing things in Rybar and other Telegram accounts kinda made me bit impatient too as apparent lack of advance, while Ukrainian seems to reign free applying pressure in Donbass and Lugansk via Kharkov.

Enough with this "declaration of war" crap! What difference would that make? Such nonsense. If anything that would make the situation in Russia worse, since it would panic the population. And if we know anything about Putin, he likes to keep his cards close to his vest and isn't bombastic.

This situation worries me. Russia's gonna have to start pushing these bastards back very soon. A few months from now is an unacceptable timetable, the situation is urgent. You don't want to give these nazis too much momentum and a big head-start in the Donbass.

Europipe I and II would be better, Germany would be cut off from most gas suplies and winter is coming. Germany is the biggest player in the EU...if Germany gives in to the sanctions, the whole EU will cave in, apart from the sociopaths in Warsaw and the Baltic capitals.

There were reports that allegedly Zaluzhny called Gerasimov and expressed his condolences over the massacre of children in Izhevsk.  There were also reports that tomorrow negotiations between the delegations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the formats (1 to 1 and 5 to 5) may take place in Riyadh.  None of the parties has officially confirmed this information.

We reached a point where such generals have no power for negotiations. Zelensky, Putin and Lavrov already said there is no negaotiation possible.

What's there to negotiate? After the referendums are certified and the oblasts become a part of Russia, this war will only escalate further. There's no magical peace to be had here.

Zelensky is a Russian Jew. He has adopted, successfully, Stalinist tactics with regards to human wave offensive. They are working. Rather than Izyum, the loss of Svyatogorsk, which was denied by certain characters on this forum, and which is the most important religious and cultural site in the Donbass, was the beginning of the vindication of his strategy. The loss of Krasny Liman, if it occurs out of pure and inexplicable incompetence on the RU side, is a further vindication of his approach. If you think Zelensky cares about sending 100k soldiers to their deaths, as some of you seem to delude yourselves with, guess what: he doesn't.

Certain questions arise when the Russian MoD announces an advance over one block in Bakhmut and a power substation, meanwhile a city 50,000 (Izyum) falls in a day, or a city of 20,000 (Krasny Liman) is being encircled.

We have seen the videos but do we have any idea how many Chechens are either already there or on their way to Ukraine. I assume they are volunteers who have had some training.

Kadyrov has said that 20,000 have served to date and they are not taking part in the reserve mobilisation.
