No invoice, just loan notes for future repayment. Which means that either 'rump' Ukraine will be in debt for ever or if 'no' Ukraine then the West's taxpayers, especially the US, including the existing IMF and EU loans, are on the hook.
This is why now, as opposed to at the start before all the gear loans/debts started, Russia will be having nothing to do with an entity calling itself 'sovereign country' Ukraine.
Hence we should much closer relationships with ex parts of Ukraine than we might have envisioned at the start.

Interesting comment from brigade commander of Ukrainian naval infantry in Mariupol colonel Vladimir Baranjuk about Javelins. He said that Javelins were totaly useless in Mariupol and that they could not launch a single missile as all the time something jam them...

Missiles are expensive programs to invest in. Russia has very few milimeter wave active radar ground attack missiles.
It will be valuable for them to reverse engineer this one. Much faster and cheaper than develop missile from 0.

The story about all the civilians having been released from the steel mill is being treated with skepticism by Russian analysts and
it looks like a set up by the Kiev regime to bait Russia. Russia blows away the Azov Stal holdouts and then the world is shocked
that many civilians died too.

The island is really small. Fireball is a destroyed ukrop Mi-8. Of course, the lovely regime in Kiev is telling the world now that it was a russian Mi-8.
I´m asking myself, why the heck are the officers and soldiers still following the orders of these criminals? Especially the pilots. You have to by quiet bright
to fly supersonic planes, they have to know that they´re send on suicide missions in hastly prepared planes. Are there only Nazi fanatics left or has
the regime taken their families hostage?

They are following orders most likely because their families are being held hostage with the threat of death for non-compliance.
There are enough Banderite goons in Ukria to have them deployed in every town and village with lists of family members to use
for coercion. BTW, we saw similar tactics used by the Bolsheviks during the civil war after 1917.

God knows what's going on there.
The Mi-8 was clearly hit by a rather large munition, or rather, destroyed by large munition striking nearby. Not a small TB-2 munition.
When playing the footage frame by frame you can still see the silhouette of the helicopter as the explosion goes off just west of it.
While it is impossible to tell right now my guess would be that UA wanted some footage of a heroic landing operation, but when it got hit by a Russian missile they decided to spin the footage they got.

Riiiiiight...
And I'm sure none of these family members ever voted for Nazis, jumped on command or screamed about killing Moskals...
Anyway this is all moving towards positive outcome, once all these "coerced" goons are dead there will only be free-range Nazis left for roasting later which will streamline the operation significantly
That or they will all run away to EU, win either way

If that is indeed true, the best way is FOAB them. I am waiting and waiting for this to happen. I am curious why have such a weapon that has to some degree deterrent factor or demoralizing factor better to speak and not use it.
Not sure how effective that will be if they are deep underground.
That is why I want to see it get tested!

Similar for helicopters...
They probably left Ukraine in the first stages of the operation

They are quite useless. Since the start they fly them to post videos on twitter and not to take part into the hostilities.
If they get to close to russians they will get blown up by pantsir and buks.
Africans need their jets. Unlikely they give them away.

Does anyone know why Odessa is not being taken or why Russian forces are in Odessa?
If someone will say they know - they will be guessing. Odessa could be the next Russian push as some analysts think, but we will have to be patient and see. Landing ships are not threatening Odessa so we need to wait for front to move.diabetus wrote:

Not as effective as hunger and thirst
They seem to have food and water stockpiled, they've been there for a while.
They're getting more food/water delivered in return for freeing host... **ahem**, civilians stuck in Azovstal
Poison the food... I know not the russian way but **** those nazi twats!

Group "O" rushes forward, destroying the enemy. During the breakthrough from the Kharkiv region to the Donbass, a large number of strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
Thanks to the well-coordinated work of special forces and motorized riflemen, the stronghold was captured on video. After inspecting the trenches, the group advanced to storm the following positions."

These are most likely jets that were rotting away on the edge of some airfield and are brought back by pooling spare parts from destroyed or severly damaged planes. The pilots are really flying suicide missions, even if they could avoid being shot down after a few minutes some of the planes wouldn´t it make back to the base. Like the attack on "Snake" Island this missions are for show, not militarily useful.
