Ukraine is not a NATO member state, yet. Once they become a NATO member state, they're untouchable, unless the Russian leadership wants a World War. At the very least a break up with the West the magnitudes of which would make the crusades child play ... open season against all Russian client states (as few as they're).

The fact they are NATO members doesn't make them untouchable, only in the events of war bring all European NATO member into the war.

Example at the same time of the attack on Baltic states tactical nukes onto all USA base on European soil, and in 24 hours a new security aligment on the continent.

So what? Syria is littered with burned out Abrams and Leopards. Do you have any concept of how long it takes to train a tank crew? Besides, selling them and delivering them is two different subjects, let alone 'Polishizing' them.

Spot on, these are the latest spec tanks, not the old Marine Corps used gear. They will take years to manufacture. Everyone knows they are unlikely ever to be used in actual combat, so no hurry, just keep the streams of commission running

Why doesn't Russia just take out Kiev and Lvov if Ukraine actually attacks. No armed invasion, but nuke these two most important (and anti-Russian) cities in Ukraine.

This idiocy has been going on too long, way too long.

If Ukraine attacks then finish off Ukraine (without sacrificing Russian soldiers or Donbass civilians).

Yes, Russia will be sanctioned to the maximum, but who cares at this point?

At least ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND people evacuated  from Donbass will be reaching, or crossing, the border with Rostov in Russia by lunchtime today.

All the checkpoints in Rostov from now on only accept people entering Russia.

In what world is the Kiev regime going to just fall on its own? Maybe in Putin’s wildest dreams. They are propped up by American and British loans. The population is behind them. Most of the pro Russia people or the people with sanity left that shit hole along time ago

Russia’s best bet is to grab a couple more cities and gas/oil rich areas. Make a land bridge to Crimea and let the west have Kiev. Regardless of what Russia does there will be sanctions. Even if one su34 or drone flys over the border to bomb the uaf there will be sanctions. If the rebels manage to fight a perfect war and advance on their own and take more territory Russia will get sanctioned.

It’s already been painted in the minds of most Americans and Europeans by western media that all eastern Ukrainians are actually Russian soldiers.
