France has riots and civil disobedience problems with or without soccer results... and it is not related to Moroccan soccer supporters.
More importantly, Hindus do not go on a rampage in UK no matter what the trigger maybe. And certainly not when India loses to England in a sporting arena.
So we agree that Soccer is the problem?
Really off topic, but the mainly problem with India is the "cast" and social class system.
Social class systems are a problem everywhere, but of course those high up on the social ladder will claim it is the social structure that keeps society together and functioning... but they would wouldn't they...

To be an ism it has to be a religion because races don't have a belief system.
White supremacist like jhelb will be devastated to learn that a popular theory is that "Hindus" themselves came to India from parts of modern day central Russia.
Where people came from seems to have more to do with religion that fact... the people investigating origins always seem to have an agenda... like the Israelis and the Jews being an ethnicity and a religion... it all sounds rather contrived to me.
These hindus are known as gypsies in Russia. Gypsies in Russia are beyond competition in terms of the number of crimes committed per thousand people. There is no crime that they do not commit.

We we have no gypsies here in New Zealand, but let me ask, are they hated because of their reputation for being thieves and criminals, or because of their skin colour and ethnicity?

Takes a lot of energy to hate people... gives you ulcers... not good for your health.
I personally reserve hate for very special groups that are evil... but you do what you like.
The problem with Gypsies is that majority of their entire population are criminals.
It that because of their culture or because they were treated badly by the locals and so they don't see them as human beings... would make them rather easier to steal from I would expect.
Most western government officials either partake in corruption or turn a blind eye to it.... to the point that the very few who stand up, like Manning and Snowden and even Assange get publicly flogged for revealing corruption and criminal activity in the west and nobody seems to care.
Look at the Red Fort in Delhi, it is not primitive, but it failed to defend India from the British invaders. The Asian Indians had some interesting weapons, but were unable to effectively use them to defend themselves from the British and other invaders; they had gunpowder, guns, and even artillery, but it still did not help.
Give credit where credit is due white european colonial powers were total bastards and a brutal nasty bunch who used violence or the rule of law to get what they wanted... when they couldn't defeat the enemy on the battlefield they made a fake peace and stole land and resources using their laws instead.
Just like in the Ukraine today when you kill their pawns... they just send more pawns...
