Yes, the M models will be wider (750mm) and longer (7.4m) and will be based on the Kh-101/2 missiles the air force uses.

From what I understand the M variants will take advantage of the extra length in the VLS tubes to increase the fuel tanks and the range of the missiles. Kalibr was originally designed to fit into submarine torpedo tubes and is based on the S-10 Granat submarine torpedo tube launched cruise missile. The M variants should be able to be launched from the VLS cells in all the surface ships and the Yasen submarines.
