Is there an issue with the forum time?

The previous message should have been displayed as being posted at 9:25 PM my time, but it says 12:25 PM instead.

Yes, i have noticed it too.
It provides wrong time of posted comments and often do not display if any posts as "new posts". Maybe wrong time setting on domain server.

I can confirm that... My time zone was switched to somewhere in Africa for a couple of days, and just now (after saving my time-zone, keep in mind that I've done it multiple times) the problem has gone away...

Just make sure to save your time-zone and the problem should go away, if not...

I still have a problem with this forum. Eeach time i see new posts marked as new and click one of them and then go back to mainpage all the new posts have been unmarked as new. Find it annoying to search for new posts when they get unmarked as new.
Any idea how to fix this?

Same here... Though it is even worse... Sometimes the page shows no new posts, though (this is always in the morning) there are typically multiple new posts anyway. I've tried loging in and out, using different devices and that doesn't help... That being said, this happens randomly for a day or two then goes away.

Don't have a fix for this one, seems to be more serious than the last issue.

That bug is getting really annoying that it unmarks "new" posts.

Is here someone who does not have this problem, so he can tell us which Timezone he has set maybe that will fix it?

    I don't have that problem...

Sometimes when I click on "View posts since last visit" after I have had the screen open for some time it comes up with only a few posts so I normally click on the "home" link (top right) and then scroll down to the bottom right to the link that says "todays active topics".

I had a message that I was composing "time out" on me when posting. I did not spend more than 5 minutes composing it
and I could not recover it. What is the "time out" setting for this board? If this was not a glitch then it is unreasonably short.

    Moderators,

I had started a topic on scientific history. The title could have been "History: Science or Fiction?". I seems that I can't find it anymore.

    Is there an explanation?

I need to send TR1 to that topic in response to his post reproduced below.

I don't know what happened to your thread but if you highlight this: History: Science or Fiction and copy it into memory... ie highlight it and rightclick and choose copy and then click on the search link above and choose advanced search and then paste into the search box you will get a google search results page.

If you scroll down you will see under April 11 2014 the link to the missing thread.

Like I said... I don't know what happened but if you click on the small triangle at the end of the link it will show the cached option... if you click on that it will load the cached version... do it quickly... I don't know how long it will store it.

And it shows your deleted page.

    Thanks a lot, Garry.

By mistake I "restored" it in the wrong section. Can it be moved to a place more appropriate?

Moved to general chat, to give you as wide a scope for discussion as you might need for this topic.

I propose "Russian Civil Aviation News" thread to be moved to Russia section and become sticky. I would like opinions of members on this

Forum Technical Issues Empty Problems accessing RMF

    Post  2SPOOKY4U Tue Mar 17, 2015 3:23 am

RMF may be blocked in my area, could someone in the U.S. check for me?

I tried to access this site with Chrome, a few hours ago it worked fine.

Now I get a black background with the text "Blocked by Web Filter".

I am sending this via Tor browser.(They can't stop me)

Have moved the "Russian Civil Aviation News" to the Russia general discussion section.

Will make it sticky when I am able. Smile

@2SPOOKY4U have you looked through the advanced settings of Chrome... it is controlled by Google so they might have set the default settings to be anti Russian... check through the trusted and untrusted sites... you might be able to enable access yourself.

RMF is certainly not blocked in the US. I am accessing it from New Jersey.

It is all fixed, it is what happens when you leave your modem alone with other people that you used to trust.

Honestly the arrogance of some people. You invite them into your home, you see them as colleagues with shared interests with differing opinions.

They get frustrated at losing some arguments, decide to see if my modem is unsecured and block a few sites, (they even blocked the Wiki page on Russia).

When I confronted them, they(American, born and raised) state that a "good Ukrainian should not browse such a site, you should be more patriotic"..."I can't believe I am hearing this, one day you will understand how wrong you are".

The arrogance of people that think they are more knowledgeable about a place that they have never been to, than a person that was born there, and lived there.

Astounding, sorry for clogging this thread with a personal issue.
