Facing TOW's can be nasty but it's not a real game changer at least not in the Syrian terrain. In mountains or forests might be. They only hit isolated targets and they are not really mobile. Fighting in armored groups or adopting simple seek and destroy tactics should be sufficient enough.

Well someone just shared a very disturbing pic of a dead pilot and claimed it as Russian pilot shot down at battle near Latakia.

My first observation though..he's a fighter pilot, with G-suit and pipes, probably for oxygen mask. Did Mi-24 pilot wear G-suit and such equipment ?
Or perhaps an Su-25 pilot.

He doesn't have Russian suite. Look at his wings on the chest. He is most probably Syrian pilot.

Thats a handful of terrorists for a good strike and nearly a dozen or more would have been eliminated in one go....but, for striking these type of units, armed UAVs are best.
