they have maritime militia on 100s of converted fishing boats. With the CG, NAF & PLAN, they now have local superiority there.

They have a ship building industry that could make thousands of small boats or subs that sit on the surface or near the surface and are armed drones... the US Navy runs into cargo ships and can't handle speed boats in Iranian waters... how are they going to cope with small fast targets in large numbers?
