The maneuvering routes of the Kh-101 missiles and "Harpy-2" drones stand out, designed to bypass known positional areas of Ukrainian air defense and strike targets from unexpected directions.  

Undoubtedly, a main target of the strikes was the Dnipro HPP, where hits were made on HES-1 and HES-2. According to Ukrainian energy officials, the support structure of HES-2 has been destroyed, crane beams are shattered, and machinery hall and electrical equipment are also damaged.

Today, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have launched a massive strike with high-precision long-range air, sea, land-based weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles at energy facilities, the military-industrial complex, railway junctions, arsenals, locations of formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries.

As a result of the strike, the functioning of industrial enterprises for the production and repair of weapons, military equipment and ammunition was disorganized.

In addition, foreign military equipment and weapons of destruction delivered to Ukraine from NATO countries were destroyed, transfers to the front edge of enemy reserves were disrupted, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries in areas of restoration of combat capability were hit.

All the goals of the massive strike have been achieved.

From March 16 to 22, in response to the shelling of our territory, attempts to break through and capture Russian border settlements by the Armed Forces, 49 retaliation strikes were carried out with high-precision long-range air-based weapons, including aeroballistic hypersonic Kinzhal missiles, missile complexes and unmanned aerial vehicles.

As a result of the strikes, the decision-making centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, airfield infrastructure facilities, workshops for the repair of weapons and military equipment, warehouses for storing UAVs and unmanned boats, logistics bases, as well as temporary locations of special operations forces and foreign mercenaries.

In the Kupyansk direction, during the week, units of the "Western" grouping of troops defeated the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Kotlyarovka, Berestovoye, Kislovka, Yagodnoye, Timkovka, Kharkiv region, Chervonaya Dibrova and Nadia of the Luhansk People's Republic.

13 counterattacks by assault groups of the 57th motorized Infantry, 30th and 32nd mechanized brigades, as well as the 18th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Kharkiv region and Terny, Donetsk People's Republic were reflected.

The enemy's losses amounted to up to 400 soldiers, three tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 25 vehicles and 19 field artillery pieces.

During the week, Ukrainian militants attempted to break into the border areas of the Belgorod and Kursk regions. All attacks were repelled by the coordinated actions of the troops of the Group covering the state border of the Russian Federation.

During the week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than three thousand servicemen and militants of Ukrainian terrorist formations, seven tanks, 15 armored vehicles and 17 vehicles in the Belgorod direction.

The enemy's losses during the week amounted to more than 1,885 military personnel, six tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 41 vehicles, 17 field artillery guns and nine field ammunition depots.

In the Avdiivka direction, units of the Center group of forces, in cooperation with aviation and artillery, liberated the settlements of Orlovka and Tonenke of the Donetsk People's Republic.

42 counterattacks by formations of the 47th mechanized, 59th motorized infantry, 78th airborne assault and 3rd assault brigades of the enemy were reflected in the areas of the settlements of Leninskoye, Novobakhmutovka, Orlovka and Vodiane of the Donetsk People's Republic.

During the week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 2,195 servicemen, two tanks, 21 armored combat vehicles, 65 vehicles and 28 field artillery pieces in this area.

In the South Donetsk direction, units of the Vostok group of troops liberated the settlement of Mirnoye in the Zaporozhye region and improved the tactical position along the front edge.

In the Kherson direction, Russian troops inflicted fire damage on formations of the 28th, 65th mechanized, 128th assault brigades, 121st and 126th air defense brigades, 35th Marine Brigade in the areas of the settlements of Rabodino, Stepnogorsk, Shcherbaki, Stepnoye, Zaporizhia region, Ivanovka and Nikolskoye, Kherson region.

The enemy's losses amounted to more than 330 soldiers, 22 vehicles and 11 field artillery pieces.

Missile forces, artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles of groups of troops destroyed nine Czech-made Vampire MLRS launchers, a battery of the IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system manufactured by Germany, two counter-battery warfare stations manufactured by the United States: AN/TPQ-50 and AN/TPQ-36, as well as four Ukrainian electronic warfare stations. the struggles of "Enclave-N", "Nota" and "Bukovel-AD".

In a phone conversation with journalists later in the day, Peskov explained that despite the conflict “de facto turning into a war,” legally it remains classified in Russia as a special military operation and that nothing has changed in that regard.

Concerning the attack to the power plant, yes this was important infrastructure that could have been useful when the territories will be again part of Russia, but, when were those plants built?
