Not really foreigners in Russia though

Just chicken Russians who wan away in 2022 with the start of the SMO returning back.
Well good to know almost half of them did. They can be useful. Just, not to be trusted, that's all.

Yeah, Bloomberg trying to pretend that it was the bestest and the brightest that ran away when the SMO started and now they are coming back of course Russia will benefit commercially.

Note only about 10% of foreign companies voluntarily left the Russian market and most with sales agreements to allow them to return in 10 years or so if the whole thing blows over.

In comparison most of these people that left were not very nice about Russia or Putin because they thought they were never coming back... they were going to paradise in the west...

But then the Spring floods hit the Orenburg region, he and his family had to evacuate, and then came back to a ruined home where the water had basically go to only 10 or so inches from the roof of

A public service announcement from New Zealand... a year or so back we had serious flooding in an area in New Zealand and for some reason a lot of people didn't leave their houses... they took shelter in the roof of their houses.

This was a fatal mistake for many because when the waters continued to rise and filled the roof cavity to escape they would need to dive underwater that was muddy and they couldn't see through to get to the man hole they used to get into the roof and then make their way down into the room and to the nearest exit to get out of the house... all under water and all largely blind.

    They mostly drowned.

In a flood, don't think the inside of your roof is safe, the water might end up being many metres above your roof and the roof will let air escape and fill up with water... it is designed to be waterproof for water falling down, not from water rising up from below.

If you are flooded sitting on top of your roof makes you visible for rescue services, but if the water keeps rising don't think it is safe to stay either.

Empty water bottles are good to keep you floating in water...

I am surprised that people made such stupid decisions. Getting on top of the roof is obviously the safer thing to do. This way you can use
the pinnacle even if part of the roof gets flooded. Seeing people on roofs is almost a cliche during coverage of bad flooding events around
the world. I know that on top does not protect from the rain, but that is not the primary concern. Maybe the roofs have 60 degree slopes
in this area but I doubt (a good reason not to allow such construction in flood zones).

When you are scared you don't always think things through... maybe in a two story house it might be OK but access into the roof on most houses is normal but access from the inside of the roof to outside the top of the roof is not normal so they ended up being trapped.

Even if you stayed out of the water if the foundations were undermined and your house collapsed being inside the ceiling would not be a good place to be anyway...

AFAIK evacuations were mandatory in the case of the Orenburg floods but of course people always find a way to slip back in or stay behind if they want to.

African girl living/studying in Kaliningrad for the last 7 years (not sure which country she's from)

I quite like her videos as they show off how picturesque the city and wider region is, and how much there is to do there

A Russian-American who emigrated to the US with his family as a kid returned back to Russia some years ago with his wife I think, he has set up a successful business and now baptized his newly-born son in the Russian Orthodox church

If we don't all chant Putin is evil and Russia is bad together in tune following the right beat the villagers ahead of us wont know what words to sing when we reach them so we will have to slaughter them man woman and child like any white european colonial power did in the good old days.

This is why Russian alternative is needed beyond VK. Something easier to embed.

Russia has too many maggots inside. Rutube could have been an easy YouCrap replacement but the 5th column clowns operating it deliberately sabotaged this. At one
stage I recall westerners hosting their videos on Rutube but then that stopped hard. An obvious retarded sabotage crackdown.

Russia should develop a platform that has all the features of YouCrap. Ignore western "patents" on obvious functionality (e.g. point and click with a mouse) and any western
copyrights. Also, makes sure that this platform has enough computing resources.

This SMO is by far the best opportunity Russia has to rid itself of 5th column parasites and Russify as much of the country as possible. Hopefully there's a concerted effort to do so in the information sphere which the West has dominated since the advent of the internet age, there's a lot of people in the West desperately looking for an alternative to heavily censored, woke, pro-LGBTQ social media platforms like youtube, facebook etc...

A Russian IT conglomerate such as Yandex or Mail.Ru or even Gazprom (they have quite a few IT companies) should buy out one of the existing alternative video sites such as BitChute or Odysee. Bitcoin in return for source code, domain and rights. Any existing developers should be free to relocate to Russia or a neutral country to continue participating in development if they want to.

And then, go from there. Invest a lot of money and hire an experienced team of developers to create a real YouTube alternative.
