Not gonna lie, i don't like this reporter much, his choice of music feels deliberate and the way he edits these videos and some of the shots, conveys a sense of mockery, feels sarcastic, comedic even,
watched some of his content and the guy feels like a liberal but could just be just me?.

Re: Foreigners in Russia
I live in a country in decomposition, years of left-wing government that destroyed the nation, now we elected a right-wing Jewish libertarian that will destroy and sell the little we still have. A society with fewer whites, no jobs, drug trafficking, poorly paid jobs, full of progressive propaganda.
I honestly don't see a way out.

Re: Foreigners in Russia
Well long story short he met a Russian woman in England some years ago and then they decided to visit Russia and then build a house there, despite not having much enthusiasm for the idea initially.
And he was very pleasantly surprised about the country and now makes videos detailing his observations and detailing his experiences there. Certainly will be quite interesting for people to hear.

Bloomberg: The return of relocants to Russia accelerates the growth of the country's economy.
The Russian economy is accelerating growth as Russians who left the country after the start of the Great Patriotic War return, Bloomberg reports.
According to the agency, return migration to Russia accounted for “one-fifth to one-third” of the country’s 3.6 percent GDP growth in 2023, TASS reports .
This is explained by the fact that Russians who have left often receive wages above the market average and work in industries with high added value. Also, the return of relocants stops the outflow of capital and stimulates the service sector within the country.
Meanwhile, according to Finion, a firm providing migration services, about 40-45% of those who left in 2022 returned to Russia.
Abroad, more and more Russian citizens are faced with difficulties in finding work, as well as in the domestic sphere, in addition, xenophobia is manifested against them.
The newspaper VZGLYAD previously wrote how the idea of emigration had lost its main myth.

Not really foreigners in Russia though
Just chicken Russians who wan away in 2022 with the start of the SMO returning back.
Well good to know almost half of them did. They can be useful. Just, not to be trusted, that's all.

Re: Foreigners in Russia
Bloomberg: Russian billionaires have begun returning assets to Russia.
MOSCOW, May 9 – RIA Novosti. Wealthy Russians have begun returning assets to Russia out of fear of their confiscation abroad, Bloomberg reports.
“The majority of sanctioned billionaires chose to transfer their assets to their home countries,” the material says.
Two Russian billionaires told the publication on condition of anonymity that they can now safely conduct business only in Russia. Another sanctioned businessman transferred assets to his homeland and said he plans to start a new life there.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index includes 26 Russians, with a combined fortune of about $350 billion. How they decide to use their wealth will affect the economy and all business sectors in Russia in the coming decades, the article points out.
Western media have repeatedly noted that the economic situation in Russia is significantly improving, while Europe is on the verge of a “deep recession.” The media also drew attention to the fact that Russia's ability to withstand pressure will become a subject for analysts to study in the future.

Re: Foreigners in Russia
It became known about the return of billionaires' assets to Russia, by Anton Antonov for VZGLYAD. 05.09.2024.
Bloomberg announced the decision of billionaires to return assets to Russia due to sanctions.
Most Russian billionaires, due to anti-Russian sanctions, decided to return their assets to Russia, Bloomberg reports.
As Bloomberg writes , rich Russians have problems managing family assets abroad and transferring them by inheritance, RBC reports .
It is noted that a number of billionaires are trying to save money in the West, but this is becoming increasingly difficult, since even “proven schemes” in Cyprus and Switzerland overlap.
Other businessmen withdraw funds to friendly states, for example, the UAE. However, the majority of billionaires facing the consequences of sanctions chose to return their funds to Russia.
Let us remind you that the Bloomberg billionaires index includes 26 Russians, whose total wealth is estimated at 350 billion dollars. Moreover, their average age reaches 63 years.
Bloomberg writes that their decisions regarding assets “will affect the economy and all business sectors” of Russia in the coming decades.

Re: Foreigners in Russia
They moved to Russia only about 2-3 years ago or so, and then moved into their newly-built house just half a year prior.
Well here is one of his videos from a few months ago, beautiful house, kids having fun, etc...
But then the Spring floods hit the Orenburg region, he and his family had to evacuate, and then came back to a ruined home where the water had basically go to only 10 or so inches from the roof of
Tough break. Looks like the home is not salvagable, structural damage, all the walls waterlogged, and of course the risk of flooding in the future.
