Foreigners in Russia

Finally, after years on the forum, I decided to open a new topic.So, we all know that there are foreigners in Russia who came here and decided to connect their lives with Russia. Now there are quite a few interviews with such people who talk about their vision of Russia and the reasons why they decided to come here. This theme is for such videos.

The heroine of the next program from the series "Not a foreigner" is Maisa Rubalcaba. She was born in Guantanamo, Cuba, and graduated from ballet school. He has been working in Russia for 10 years and lives in Zelenograd. A professional dancer.

Arno Fas is the new hero of the series "Not a foreigner". He was born in France, but lives in Tula with his Russian wife Svetlana. He considers the bathhouse a reflection of the Russian soul, and therefore became a professional "steam master". Come on, a bath attendant!

Father Joseph Gleason moved from the USA to Russia with his whole family. In his opinion, this is where one of the last bastions of Christianity on the planet is located.
What was it like to bring 8 children and a wife to a country where no one speaks their native language? And how does Father Gleason assess his choice now?

Justas Walker has 100 hectares of land in the Altai Territory, on which he has built and is developing a family farm.

The hero of our film is David Henderson–Stewart, born in New Zealand, spent the first half of his life in the UK, now lives and works in Russia, and in two cities at once - Moscow and St. Petersburg. He heads a large Russian watch factory, known all over the world.

The hero of our film is Stephen Thomas Ochsner. He was born in Colorado Springs, USA. He lives and works in Moscow.
Steven is an actor, musician, director and producer. He believes that the theater is more necessary in Russia than in America and is sure that it is easy to talk about important things with Russians.

The hero of our film is Mustafa Yildiz. He teaches Russian to foreigners and is professionally engaged in motorsport.
He lives and works in the Moscow region, in the city of Voskresensk, but was born in Turkey, in Istanbul. He says he started learning Russian in the 9th grade, and was captivated by its power. He met his wife in Russia, they have been together for 12 years. Mustafa has two children.

Our hero is the Greek Lazaros Filimon, chef, owner of a restaurant in Novosibirsk.
The indifference of people and the "modern" approach
to child sex education in Europe horrified Lazaros.
Having quit one day, he sold all his property and left with his whole family for Novosibirsk. Friends did not appreciate the spontaneous decision to move to Russia, and cut off any contacts with the Greek.

This time we went to Tarusa, a cozy Russian city with incredible surprises. Our hero, Joerg Duss, a businessman and philanthropist from Switzerland, lives in the village of Lagovshchina. His story is about an important choice that changed everything. Having arrived in Russia as a volunteer in 1997, Jorg stayed, built an autonomous village and married the Russian beauty Natalia.

Jorg told why he could not resist Russia, and how he found harmony in village life. My name is Arend, and my wife's name is Aneesa. We have 9 children, our oldest son is still in Canada for now, and the rest are here in Russia with us. Here is a video showing a bit about us. We hope you enjoy it! Please remember to subscribe and share our videos with others.

After many months of planning, the day had finally come for us to board the plane and fly to Moscow from there. We took a 6 hour bus ride to our temporary home. The heroine of this issue is Romina Bagheri. She was born in Tehran, the capital of Iran, but has been living in Krasnogorsk, Russia, for more than 12 years. She is an entrepreneur and food blogger - she tells her subscribers about restaurants and teaches them how to cook. Russian dumplings and soups are her favorite dishes.

I think it is an indication of the type of Russian society that people from very different cultural backgrounds can move and live there.
Supposedly North America is attractive because it is a multicultural immigrant "haven". Russia should be "stuffy" old world ethno-centric
like most other European states. But in reality Russia is an ancient multicultural state. But it has preserved enough of a social base to
maintain rationality whereas the US and Kanada have become woke toilets with rampant grooming of children and child genital mutilation.
