There are about 5 enemy brigades sitting here.
Question is how many troops do these "brigades" still have.
Propably not more than 50% of the usual number.

A meeting of Lavrov with Mrs. Marsudi, a MoFA of Indonesia.
Take a look at body language when Lavrow asked why she had not participated in the General Council assembly considering Ukraine.

    Yes that is full strength

I would say Ukrainians are facing 50% attrition rate on average

Some face worse attrition rates then others - for example some units face 70%+ attrition

To be fair Russian assault units in the north of Avdeevka face losses which are just as bad, but these are usually storm Z detachments

Although losing anyone is sad, the exchange of convicts for trained defenders of Ukrowehrmacht 47th mechanized brigade is adequate

At this point the 47th brig. is facing annihilation

How do you replace the loss of such a unit? If originally you had 3000 trained men, and you are Down to less than 1500, who replaces that unit?

But the idea to slaughter the Tavrida group is logical

This is the last seriously trained group of the Ukrainian army

After that, the Russian army will fight something akin to Hitler jugend

he Western establishment, disillusioned with Ukraine, will again believe in it and begin to actively invest.

There was talk that the solution to the wests lack of production capacity for weapons to meet Ukraines needs let alone their own was to invest in building factories in the Ukraine, but such ideas didn't last long after Russian strikes on various factories and storage warehouses that showed such investments would be throwing money on an active volcano erupting to put the fire out.

To be clear they can have all the plans in the world but most will never work even if you did believe the western propaganda about Russia which these idiots clearly do... which is why their plans are terrible and so prone to failure.

Would have been funny, if not being sad.

The cross on the Humvee door... they think this is the crusades...

Yes, that´s a RBU-6000 mounted on top of an T-80.

They obviously have those rockets in storage doing nothing, but risking getting hit by enemy fire... so why not use them up?

Seem to remember they have a flight range of about 5.5km or so, which is adequate with a T-80 chassis because it should be able to operate on the front line.

For RBU, the number equals its range.
    RBU-6000 is 6km range, RBU-12000 is 12 km, etc.
Some sources are putting a different number like "5500" or "5800" to pretend to be their own "study" Laughing
This thing is a kind of desperate, as RGB-60 carries a relatively small, 25 kg warhead. What's more, it operates in packs, with two fuzes. One is contact, the other is acoustic. The role of an acoustic fuse is to trigger the explosion of a salvo, if any of the bombs hit a target and detonate. I wonder if it won't explode in the air when the first will hit the ground.

#Summary for the morning of January 24, 2024

    ▪ Yesterday morning, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike on enemy territory using air- and ground-based missiles. Missiles were launched from Tu-95ms, Tu-22m3, and Su-34 aircraft. The strikes primarily targeted Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Pavlograd. Explosions were reported in the Poltava region.
    ▪ According to our data, in the Kharkov area, the evening before last, our troops opened heavy artillery fire on enemy positions in the settlement of Pletenevka, Volchansky district. As a result, the Armed Forces of Ukraine retreated from their strong point. Yesterday, units of the Russian Army conducted a raid on enemy trenches, capturing trophies and then retreating to their original positions without consolidating in empty positions. Essentially, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a daring raid on the territory of the Kharkov region of Ukraine, although it was in the nearest border area. It was difficult to verify such actions since both sides were accustomed to stable positions on the front. We have observed some increased activity of our troops in this direction.

    ▪ Our attack on Belogorovka continues south of Kremennaya, and it is reported that we have occupied some enemy positions.

    ▪ In the north-western region of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut), battles are taking place in Bohdanivka, and the Russian Army has also advanced to Georgievka.

    ▪ Heavy fighting has been ongoing for several days in a row in the Avdeevka area near the Tsarskaya Okhota recreation center. After capturing the center, our troops advanced to the outskirts of Avdeevka. The enemy is deploying infantry into battle in an attempt to recapture lost positions and cut off a salient that extends 1.5 km deep into their defense.

    ▪ Fighting continues near Novomikhailovka (between Marinka and Vuhledar). The Russian Armed Forces have the initiative and are trying to reach the road to Vuhledar by bypassing Novomikhailovka from the south. West of Marinka, our troops are operating in Georgievka.

    ▪ On the Zaporozhye Front, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are practically not using armored vehicles in the ongoing battles at Verbovoy and Robotyne. Instead, they are countering our infantry attacks with their own counterattacks and employing a maneuverable defense.

    ▪ There have been no changes in the Kherson direction. Due to the difficult situation of the limited forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krynki, they are equipping enemy boats with homemade anti-ice protection equipment and attempting to increase the supply of manpower and weapons to their shores. Artillery shelling and UAV strikes are ongoing.

    ▪ In the morning, the governor of the Oryol region reported on the air defense operations over Oryol: "Services have been deployed to the incident sites in the Zheleznodorozhny and Northern regions to ensure the safety of the population." In the Kursk region, the village of Gogolevka in the Sudzhansky district was shelled. In the Belgorod region, in the Valuysky urban air defense district, one air target was shot down near the village of Timonovo. The AFU attacked the settlements of Khutor Balki and Terezovka in the Shebekinsky urban district using a kamikaze drone. There were no casualties. A man born in 1949 died in Yasinovataya ( DPR ), and a woman born in 1952 also died. In total, 14 civilians were injured in the Republic during the day.

The summary was compiled by: Two majors Original

The billions needed by Ukraine are no investment. They drop into a black hole called “general expenses”.

We pay their garbage removal, their fire brigade, healthcare, pensions, the civil servants dealing with divorces etc.

This money disappears from view and NOTHING can be shown for it.

Karl Haushofer wrote:Ukraine shoots down a Russian military transport plane above Belgorod.

According to Russian sources the plane was carrying Ukrainian prisoners and had a Russian crew.

An Il-76 plane was shot down during a scheduled flight in the Belgorod region.

There were 65 captured Ukrainian military personnel, six crew members, and three guards on board the aircraft. The prisoners were being transported to the border regions for an exchange.

The Russian Ministry of Defence has sent an investigative team to the crash site.
Meanwhile, Ukraine-based Ukrainskaya Pravda newspaper reported, citing sources in Kiev’s military, that the aircraft had been destroyed by Ukrainian forces. However, the outlet reported that the plane had been carrying S-300 air defense missiles rather than prisoners.

A few minutes later, it removed the mention of Kiev’s role in the downing of the aircraft, stating only that its military sources had confirmed the crash.

Russian MP Andrey Kartapolov said that there were two planes carrying Ukrainian POWs, and that Moscow had to urgently divert the second IL-76, carrying 80 captured troops, out of the danger zone.

The legislator stated that Kiev knew about the impending exchange and had been informed of the flight route, adding that despite the warning, the plane was shot down by three anti-aircraft missiles fired from either US-made Patriot or German-made IRIS-T systems. Kartapolov asserted that in light of this tragedy, any prisoner exchange is “out of the question for now,” suggesting that Kiev had carried out the attack in order to thwart the exchange. RU MOD statement:

Today at 11:15, the Kiev regime committed a terrorist act, resulting in the downing of a Russian military transport aircraft that was on a flight from Chkalovsky Aerodrome to Belgorod, carrying Ukrainian military personnel for exchange.

The aircraft was hit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the area of the Liptsy settlement in the Kharkov region, using an anti-aircraft missile system.

The launch of two Ukrainian missiles was observed by the radar systems of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

Onboard the aircraft were six crew members, 65 Ukrainian military personnel for exchange, and three accompanying Russian military personnel. The crew and all passengers on the aircraft perished.

The Ukrainian leadership was well aware that, according to established practice, today there would be a transfer of Ukrainian military personnel for exchange by military transport aircraft at Belgorod Aerodrome.

According to an agreement reached earlier, this event was supposed to take place in the second half of the day at the Kolotilovka checkpoint on the Russian-Ukrainian border.

Yet, the Nazi Kiev regime took this step, aiming to accuse Russia of destroying Ukrainian military personnel.

By committing this act of terrorism, the Ukrainian leadership has shown its true face – disregarding the lives of its citizens.

One of the aspects of modern urban warfare, possible when you have the infrastructure maps.

This is footage of the same pipe through which the attack aircraft of the brigade of" Veterans "of the Volunteer Corps penetrated the "Tsar's Hunt". The object was discovered a year ago by intelligence officers, all this time the details of the operation and its preparation were kept secret.

Work on sawing out passages in the pipe was accompanied by active artillery and mortar fire, thereby drowning out the noise from the work being carried out.

The first attempt was unsuccessful. The reason was not enough oxygen and had to make additional ventilation pits. Then the flood flooded the pipe with water. And only now the "Veterans" were able to implement this daring operation. The fighters went to the rear of the enemy and cut off most of the fortifications near Avdiivka, while taking a group of AFU fighters prisoner.

    Dmitry Medvedev:

"The story of the destruction of the Il-76 aircraft is the result of the internal political struggle of neo–Nazi elites in Kiev. The war of pigs at the trough. Many people have already written about this.

Bright memory to our pilots. They are heroes. Ukrainian families did not wait for their prisoners from Russia.

It will only get worse: these three-toothed freaks will easily kill their servicemen and prisoners of war to preserve their power, which they have learned in 700 days of their lives. They will mercilessly bomb their towns and villages, pulverizing their homes and incinerating their elderly and children. There are no limiters for the yellow-black creatures here. After all, the main thing is at stake – power and money."

That's right, it's going to get worse. And when does Russia finally intend to destroy this Nazi government? Zelensky receives guests from NATO in Kiev, as if there is no war. Zelensky is going to the UN. A legitimate president, right? Either Russia will destroy this Nazi state or the West will destroy Russia with the hands of these Nazis. Who else doesn't understand this?

⚡🇺🇦: Russia claims 12 of those scheduled for exchange aboard the ill-fated flight were members of Azov. They've also added that the pilot communicated the hit before turning the plane away from the village of Yablonovo. Likely saved many innocent lives through swift action.

They got rid of all their old army crap, now for the Navy Very Happy These are up to 50ish years old, nothing has been heard about the pair of similar Sea Kings the British sent.

🔴 Germany will transfer military helicopters to Ukraine for the first time

We are talking about the supply of six multi-purpose Sea King helicopters along with components and spare parts. It is not specified when exactly the helicopters will be transferred, but the German side noted that Ukrainian pilots will have to be trained to operate the new equipment.

📝 “Sea King is a modern and reliable helicopter that will help Ukrainians in a variety of areas - from reconnaissance over the Black Sea to transporting soldiers. This is the first delivery of this kind from Germany,” said the German Ministry of Defense. - Ostashko reports

Russians served that airplane to Ukrainians on a silver platter when they announced it's route, Ukrainians would be retarded not to take the shot

Handful of POWs are far less useful than scratching off enemy Il-76

Buy a new plane and don't be stupid in the future

Moreover, the Ukrainian AD is doing well, contrary to what some people have written here. It even destroys planes over Russian territory 40 km from the border.
