The top priority in the USA is now to save face.
With Biden and Harris, Blinken and Sullivan, Nuland and Austin...?

Not Iosif Vissarionovich, who will strike terror in the hearts of fascists now?
Medvedev needs to grow a mustach.  lol1

killed by Ukrainian propaganda a few days ago
We could ask the question if they (western MSM) will ever learn, but we all know the answer.

This looks to be the destruction of the replacement bridge. The straight road across the river original bridge still looks to have one side of its span still missing.

Notice how more of these strikes seem to be of a pair of bombs released at the same time.

I advised against this not because Abram cannot deal with russian tanks, it can with ease. Ukraine just doesn't have the infrastructure or logistics capability for it.

Also important to know these are watered down export versions and old one at that so even if the ruskie's capture it, they will get virtually no info out of the things.

But this is a case of a politician doing things against the advice of the experts anyone who has used or served along side an abrams or any vehicle knows.

It's not just having the tank, you need to have the base support for it in place or be able to provide that on the move none of which Ukraine has.

As I said before, many months ago, the M1 is designed for American needs, with American-level logistical support in mind.

It's a fine tank with a great track record in U.S. service, but yeah - that's U.S. service. Elsewhere it hasn't performed particularly well at all, same goes for Leos and what have you.

The Lazerpigish assessments of vehicles are beneath us, I hope.

I wonder why they don't paint the drones black for night attack. Unless they send a few white ones and the rest black..now THAT would be smart.

Medvedev: more than 325 thousand people have signed a contract with the RF Armed Forces since January 2023
Work to replenish the Russian Armed Forces continues to be carried out, noted the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council.

A small single use gas turbine should be actually easier to build then the 2/4 cyl 2 stroke engine. It will be less efficient but lighter so i would imagine it can carry more fuel.

The mini-turbines used in regular cruise missiles are quite cheap, and Russia produces these in bulk. Their MTBOs are in the hour and half ballpark, but they aren't meant to ever be overhauled anyway, so yeah.

A commercial JetCat turbine, their bigger models, that RC hobbyists buy for 5000-10000 dollars a piece depending on model/size/thrust are almost comparable, but they are built to last.

Correct on all counts. It needs US logistics, air superiority, artillery support, and close air support. It will do okay, but it will burn like the others. Actually, without logistics to keep it maintained and fueled it may br abandoned by its own crews.

With a current attrition rate of 700 KIA per day, we're talking about 750,000 dead Ukrainians by the middle of 2025. Nobody would realistically be left to fight by then, unless they start drafting women and children like WW2 Germany.

Horses for courses . In the beginning of SMO , used to think ; keep Aircraft out of SAM range , use Arty and Drones and cruise missiles instead . Save Aircraft to be used against NATO . Now I think ; Save enough Aircraft to carry Nukes against NATO , use the rest in Ukraine . Aircraft carry munitions that other platforms do not carry . A Geran carries , what 50 kg ? How about Zircon or Iskander ? About 500 kg ? A jet fighter carries about 5000 kg . A heavy bomber ? Much more about 13000 kg ? The cost per ton , is less . Also we can do things with an Earth penetrating 2000 kg munition , that nothing else can do . There is no replacement . A heavy bomber delivering many Tons of bombs into enemy bunker , will suck the air out of their lungs and collapse the bunkers on their head and completely demoralize them . Force them to put guns down and retreat or surrender !

Since the Ukrainian Army is increasingly a proxy Army , then destroying men and material at the frontlines , becomes far more important than destroying industrial military infrastructure inside Ukraine . In my view more effort should be put into SEAD , say to a depth of 50 to 100 km , into the Ukraine controlled territory , away from frontlines . To disable all SAM systems . For this , then drones and missiles are used and concentrated . Afterwards heavy bombers can put much more cheap dumb bombs on the frontlines . In this way the Orcs are demoralised and bunker system destroyed . No choice but surrender !
