One more failed try to penetrate the Ruskie defensive.

    https://t.me/SIL0VIKI/63854

The comments are the best part.

Khokhols are being simply decimated, multiple hits of ATGM taking out the APCs.

    It is a Gulay-Pole direction.

There is one more film I can't find now, but folks in the trenches are kind of surprised that they have broken through, but sneaking would be a better world.
Seems that they are a second line or flanking position, and just enjoying the show seeing the outcome.

Edit : I have found that.

    https://t.me/boris_rozhin/80521

Folks are kind of surprised and dizzy about who is being fried in front of them. "Ours? Not ours. Seriously?"

Edit 2 : watched that again, and I would guess those are not ATGMs but just artillery piercing them ...

    Edit 3 :

Yup, it didn't goRussian special military operation in Ukraine #40 - Page 11 Photo149

Just to give you some anchor.

Ret. Col. McGregor is obviously one of the most distinguished military men the US ever had.
A true patriot - no sarcasm.
Being a patriot is nothing wrong.
    I am a patriot.
True patriots would sign the deals in 15 min if appointed to the task.

    Mark 1:55  and following.

But SURE history remembers MULTIPLE cases when the interception was made by ramming.

Chinese are notorious with that, remind me when they killed a P-8 the last time?

Not during wartime, but on a daily routine.

So we have a respected guy, who simply lacks knowledge about some particular part of things.

Beware of false prophets, and take everything with your own knowledge.
    If it lacks - educate.

Exist from #Bakhmut small groups walking out.
    Looks fun.

Anyways, if F-35s are getting this close ( odd behaviour for a stealth aircraft) then Mig 31s need to be heavily armed with BVR A2A missiles.
This is a "meeting" in international airspace. That´s why the F-35 is allowed to come close.
The MiG-31 is armed with 4 R-33 or R-37M missiles.

They should really get done with Avdeevka soon and give People in city of Donetsk a well deserved calm.

I'm curious tho if there would be another push to Kharkov and Sumy to give Russian mainland some buffer zone.

    - Something about that drone/su 27 footage (the drone) looks a bit CGI. So I dunno about that one. Maybe other footage will come up.

-Russia probably didn't shoot at it to keep it intact. The thing is huge. If it flopped into the water , they will probably get the fuselage minus the the wings fully intact. Yes it probably has some fancy shit on board that will be fun to have a look at. But it is probably all a bit overrated by the techno autists.

Flightradar 24 is a Anglo axis shill. They said "oh we don't track Reapers or Predators. Umm yes you do. They were probably told to take down the data from it. They probably had the transponder on at least until it got to the area from Italy.

Yeah I'm sure Grom is free in comparison.

Certainly not free, but not corruption like US weapons...

Clearly every Grom ever hit it's target like this one.

Earlier in the war such photos would include images showing the background and location, but this time they do not... what are they hiding... if it was near a shop or a hospital or church they would show how close it was to such things, but this image they don't show things nearby... I wonder why...

JSOW has basically equivalent range to the rocket assisted Grom with high altitude deployed.

The publicly stated max range for JSOW is made up, we don't even know the max range of the GROM with the rocket booster... if it was deployed by the MiG-31BM in a SEAD role its range would be enormous being released at mach 2.5 and 18km altitude its performance could be amazing against enemy air defence systems and equipment, but even the 40km range against ground targets is rather good with over 600kgs of HE...

U.S intended to use these JSOW along with other PGMs to target Russian armoured columns, especially MBTs. China too has armed its fighter jets with similar PGMs in order to target Indian tank columns. Therefore, Indian T-72s are receiving a Camouflage suite ( link to my previous post below). I think Russia should immediately issue similar Camouflage suits for their tanks so that NATO's chances of hitting Russian tank columns with PGMs goes down drastically.

Camouflage is always a good idea but camouflage on a column of vehicles driving down roads wont be particularly effective most of the time just by the nature of the target...

Unpowered bombs are stupid. You factor in the cost of risking pilots and airframe making high risk maneuvers in the face of long range air defences to dump these bombs with as much energy as possible and suddenly that rocket doesn't seem so expensive anymore.

Depends on the conflict of course... In Syria for example the Russians could deploy dumb bombs safely from altitude and take the time to get good accuracy and effectiveness from a cheap weapon system.

For the US you would think with their amazing technology and amazing avionics they could do the same as what the G&T system achieves, but why bother because the companies that make avionics don't want to step on the toes of the companies that make expensive guided bombs.

The thing this conflict shows is the enormous range of guided weapons Russia has to deal with different problems and different situations...

Flightradar 24 is a Anglo axis shill. They said "oh we don't track Reapers or Predators. Umm yes you do. They were probably told to take down the data from it. They probably had the transponder on at least until it got to the area from Italy.

The transponder is sending identification and location data to any receiver that receives such data like airfields and radar stations... civilian and military.

Whether any website decides to publish its position or not if the transponder is off the locals would notice that it is on military radar but not on civilian radar.

Which is grounds enough to shoot it down as it approached Crimean airspace... remember that was the excuse for shooting down those balloons that were floating harmlessly over the US and Canada.

That drone would be filled with all sorts of recon electronics that would very much be worth a look even just to see what it could see.

That video above is likely not real... DCS?

    Well ... yes and no.
You know that. I know that. Other folks here know that either.
And some of us know some shit about the tanks, too Twisted Evil
While not being a talking heads, right?
    That is my point.
Watching them in a regular manner, everybody will spot the issue.
They are talking about everything while lacking clue in some cases.
That is why taking everything for granted is a risky business.

I doubt that. Camouflaging a tank column makes sense, especially when NATO is using PGMs to hit these columns.

Russian troops advance in Marinka, 03.16.2023.

Pushilin: Russian troops are advancing in Marinka, despite the supply of reserves by Kiev.

MOSCOW, March 16 - RIA Novosti. Although Ukraine is constantly transferring reserves to Maryinka, the systematic advance of Russian troops continues there, Denis Pushilin, acting head of the DPR, said.

"The enemy is doing everything possible to drag out the time (for the liberation of Maryinka - ed.). Fierce battles have been going on there for about a month and a half, but at the same time, units are advancing and grinding a huge amount of the enemy, whose reserves are being transferred on a permanent basis," Pushilin said on air TV channel "Russia 24".

Marinka is a suburb of Donetsk , located one kilometer from the Petrovsky district of the capital of the DPR. Significant positions of Ukrainian forces are located there, this is one of the points from where Donetsk is regularly subjected to artillery shelling.

So Ukrs have large numbers of men , capable of being mobilised . Maybe 500,000 troops or more ? So these potential troops are now civilians ? Innocent civilians that work in the fields or factories ? And they not only not resist the Nazis , but put on uniforms , when asked ? How many of these captured Ukrs troops , are fresh recruits ? And how many are old hands , professional soldiers ? Have the Ukrs population , not realised the nature of own government ?

They are really no laws that govern war . The very definition of war , negates any notion of law . The only law that exists is the law of the Jungle or nature . Anyone in a potential position to kill , will kill . There is no neutrality in peacetime , let alone wartime , or indeed nature itself . All is violent . And if you think , there is something wrong with human society that is violent or nature that is violent , then don't blame me or Adolf Hitler , blame God ! He made the world .

So the yanks intend to be participants to the war , directly or indirectly ? The drone that crashed , was a professional upset for them . More can crash and should crash . And if the position of Russia changed with Ukraine , do you think that their Nazi population , would not starve Russians to death ? We are the victims of our own misplaced idealism . Conjuring fairy-tales of neutrality or proletarian internationalism or the UN or the Geneva convention......We think that there is something wrong with the violent world ! Or the violent human society .

It indeed looks like the propellor was clipped by the SU27, in the second pass. One of the blades was bend on the tip, you can see it in the last frames. I don't see a serious disturbance in the flight path though; the MQ-9 stays surprisingly stable but maybe this caused a serious balance issue in the propellor.

Some of the coolest footage I've seen in awhile. It will be remembered. I dont think it was wise of them to release it. The dashing and devil-may-care meter is thru the roof for this pilot now for many Russians.

Edit: nomadski I dont think Russia has much of a choice in what they must do. Question now is how well they do what they do. I think we will only truly know many years from now. Fog of war too thick. All we can do is hope the crazy neocons and neolibs relent in their relentless "containment" strategies. One can hope while being aware it has very little chance.

It would take a few days for things to go through the clearance process, as multiple people and departments need to give the ok, you can't just go "This is okay now, release it"

The whole clip looks real until after the screen goes snowy
Then the picture comes back for a moment and it allegedly shows one of the prop blades bent over on the end. Which would never happen. A blade either contacted the su 27 and shattered or it didn't. Plus there was no 2nd pass. It was 2 shots of one pass.

Here's the prop blade bent over on the end
