The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation in Ukraine.

Russian air defence means have shot down 1 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle near Rudya, Chernigov Region.

They made those preparations seriously. Ukrainian army drive brigades after brigades for whole 2021 and bring there a large number of soldiers (around 150.000) and armament. They bring a proper ratio to start operation against DNR and LNR army, which was well digged in their defensive lines.

The battery seems to be still S-300V1's. looking at the 9S32 and the TELAR which still apparently use  circular shaped illuminator. It can provide 40 km coverage against Ballistic missile. More than enough for Tochka-U's.

The 9S15 is propably aorund somewhere. They just didn´t show it. The Niobium is for low RCS targets (and IRBM´s) and the Kasta for low-flying ones. Works mostly with the Pantsir system that is also around at this side.
