I was thinking, as I usually do, that each one of us, can find solutions. From the lowliest toilet cleaner, to the high and mighty University professor. Each from his ability. After thinking about corona being airborne in water vapour particles of 0.5 micron. And inhalation being source of infection, and the uselessness of surgical masks, not being airtight, and more expensive gas masks not being available and cumbersome to wear. Then I came up with my own cheap and easy solution.

As long as one keeps mouth shut, while in high risk area, and breathes through nose only. Then industrial nose inserts can be used. These will fit the nostrils and form airtight seal. The filters in these work in the 20 to 60 micron range. Enough for pollen and bacteria. But these can be augmented with clinical filters of 0.2 micron. Simply cut two small round section and fit inside nose filters. But also exhalation vapour will block fine filter, through nose. So user must inhale through nose, but exhale through mouth.

These are cheap, using existing equipment. Available or easy to mass produce in millions. And reusable. Eye protection can be normal plastic industrial safety goggles. These also are airtight. Cheap to mass produce. Available. What solution can you think of.......? How about the same device, but small UV light, in separate compartment, an air resirviour , killing virus, as it passes. No need for filters. Will this work....?

These inserts can be used in conjunction with anti - viral gel, applied to nose. Together forming an airtight seal. The same treatment for ears. But can use medicated cotton wool.
