What is exactly the value of modern applied medicine? Looks like a corporate racket living off tax payers.

Indian PM Narendra Modi to repeal farm laws after year of protests
Repeal of ‘black laws’ designed to modernise agricultural sector is huge victory for farmers
Narendra Modi has announced he will repeal three contentious farm laws that prompted a year of protests and unrest in India, in one of the most significant concessions made by his government.
In a huge victory for India’s farmers, who had fought hard for the repeal of what they called the “black laws”, the prime minister announced in an address on Friday morning that “we have taken the laws back”.
“We have decided to repeal all three farm laws. We will start the constitutional process to repeal all the three laws in the parliament session that starts at the end of this month,” said Modi, in a surprise announcement.
While Modi remained adamant in his speech that the laws were necessary reforms, he acknowledged that they were unfeasible given the fierce opposition from farmers. “I appeal to all the farmers who are part of the protest … to now return to your home, to your loved ones, to your farms, and family. Let’s make a fresh start and move forward,” he added.

The US and Canadian Diabetes Associations spread the criminal diet plan based on the food pyramid which
was concocted by corporate interests and their lobby. This high carb diet is exactly the opposite of what
should be prescribed for diabetics. They need low carb diets to regulate their sugar. The stench of
corruption is intense in medicine.

This is how rotten modern medicine is. You have a layer of bureaucracy (associations) which use BS reports and "studies"
that totally fail the test for substance dictating to doctors what to do and what to prescribe their patients. There is
an corrupt layer between the actual science and the doctors. It is obvious what the corruption is, these associations
serve the interests of Big Pharma, Big Agro and Big Industry and not medicine.

If any politician were to suggest noise cancellation ideas would be branded a communist and anti-car. I love compact walkable streetcar friendly older cities like New Orleans, Baltimore, St.Louis and a few others. I think US transportation policy at the local, state and national level is simply too car centric.

Interesting new research information. We need near infrared (EM wavelength between 780 and 2500 nm)
exposure for our health not just ultraviolet.
He keeps referring to IR but it is not the same as near IR.

Example of a study that has real content but where the authors are confused about the mechanisms at play.
1) The change to a "high fat" diet in China comes together with overeating. Decades ago Chinese ate a high
carb diet but in a calorie restricted fashion. You ate your bowl of rice in the morning and then worked hard
burning it all off. This is a simplistic take, but it is essentially correct. Today, people eat several bowls of rice and
some vegetable oil laden toppings and sit on their ass all day, even if they are working. They are not burning
the food, they are converting it into fat and developing heart disease. Physical farm labour is healthier than
sedentary office or programming labour. The former involves exercise and the release of adrenaline, the later
has no exercise and involves release of cortisol without adrenaline. This is a direct contribution to heart disease
and insulin resistance progression.
2) The "high carb" diet eaten by Chinese decades ago is not the same as the modern western processed carb
diet. Traditional foods appear to have a commonality around the world when it comes to being healthier than
industrial, processed food. The bowl of rice you cook yourself is not as bad as the potato chips and crackers
made from refined, GMO wheat, with vegetable oil added.
Analysis that lays out the real issues with the Chinese "high fat" diet.

Omega-6 industrial seed oils called vegetable oils are poison. This is established science but all of the governments and
"medical associations" keep pimping them as "heart healthy".

"Heart healthy vegetable oils" according to medical associations and governments.
Diabetic patients are particularly susceptible to cardiomyopathy independent of vascular disease, and recent evidence implicates cell death as a contributing factor. Given its protective role against apoptosis, we hypothesized that dietary n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) may well decrease the incidence of this mode of cardiac cell death after diabetes. Male Wistar rats were first fed a diet rich in n-6 PUFA [20% (wt/wt) sunflower oil] for 4 wk followed by streptozotocin (STZ, 55 mg/kg) to induce diabetes. After a brief period of hyperglycemia (4 days), hearts were excised for functional, morphological, and biochemical analysis. In diabetic rats, n-6 PUFA decreased caspase-3 activity, crucial for myocardial apoptosis. However, cardiac necrosis, an alternative mode of cell death, increased. In these hearts, a rise in linoleic acid and depleted cardiac glutathione could explain this “switch” to necrotic cell death. Additionally, mitochondrial abnormalities, impaired substrate utilization, and enhanced triglyceride accumulation could have also contributed to a decline in cardiac function in these animals. Our study provides evidence that, in contrast to other models of diabetic cardiomyopathy that exhibit cardiac dysfunction only after chronic hyperglycemia, n-6 PUFA feeding coupled with only 4 days of diabetes precipitated metabolic and contractile abnormalities in the heart. Thus, although promoted as being beneficial, excess n-6 PUFA, with its predisposition to induce obesity, insulin resistance, and ultimately diabetes, could accelerate myocardial abnormalities in diabetic patients.

If you care about heart disease, which most people in the developed world should care about:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0009308497000959?via%3Dihub
The origin of oxidized LDL which is the central process for atherosclerotic plaque formation is oxidation of linoleic acid which is used by
the body to make LDL (the body uses what is available and fits a band of functionality, it will use other fatty acids in the absence of this one).
Linoleic acid (aka omega-6 PUFA) is not essential and should not be consumed outside of a small amount found in plants (fruits and vegetables).
Modern diets where omega-6 are pushed as "heart healthy" are leading to massive overdosing on this fatty acid and inducing atheroscleroris and
mitochondrial damage which is involved in many diseases including cancer.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0009308497000959?via%3Dihub
Linoleic acid is the most abundant fatty acid in human low density lipoproteins (LDL). Oxidation of LDL transforms linoleic acid to hydroperoxyderivatives. These are converted to 9-hydroxy-10,12-octadecadienoic acid (9-HODE) and 13-hydroxy-9,11-octadecadienoic acid (13-HODE). 9-HODE is much more abundant in oxidized LDL than other lipid peroxidation products and therefore an indicator of lipid peroxidation (LPO). In this study the 9-HODE content in the LDL of 19 obviously healthy volunteers and 17 atherosclerotic patients was investigated. The level of 9-HODE obtained from LDL of young atherosclerotic patients (aged 36–47 years) was increased by a factor of 20 when compared with samples from healthy volunteers of the same age group. The content of 9-HODE in the LDL of atherosclerotic patients aged between 69 and 94 years increased 30–100 fold when compared with young healthy individuals, but when compared with `healthy' individuals of the same age group it was only 2–3 fold increased. Obviously, as individuals grow older LDL becomes more and more oxidized. Consequently, assuming that LDL oxidation is a precondition for atherosclerosis—older individuals will suffer from atherosclerosis, even if no easy detectable visible signs of this disease are recognizable. According to 9-HODE determination, the onset of the disease starts slowly in most individuals at around 50 years of age.

Guess what causes the mutation in the P53 gene: linoleic acid oxidation products.
P53 is often mutated in solid tumors, in fact, somatic changes involving the gene encoding for p53 (TP53) have been discovered in more than 50% of human malignancies and several data confirmed that p53 mutations represent an early event in cancerogenesis. Main p53 functions consist in cell cycle arrest, DNA repair, senescence and apoptosis induction in response to mutagenic stimuli, and, to exert those functions, p53 acts as transcriptional factor. Recent data have highlighted another very important role of p53, consisting in regulate cell metabolism and cell response to oxidative stress.

Re: Agriculture and Industry killing us
Worth the long watch. I already posted something similar before, but this is not spam.
At around 46:24 there is a graph showing the heart disease deaths in the US which peaked
during the 1970s. We see here the same sort of BS government intervention as with Covid-19.
The government under the thrall of industry lobbyists foisted a poison diet on the public. It
was a hack to "fix" the heart disease pandemic. With Covid-19 we have the foisting of dangerous
mRNA vaccines to "save" us from the viral pandemic. As with the 1970s regulatory spasm we
will see fallout down the line from the insanity.
It is ultra-important to fight for health autonomy. If you submit to the deciders, you will be
f*cked up.
