That would make sense actually, thanks. Thinking back to what's been published, the Coalition shouldn't be very happy with last night, they lost more than half of their missiles trying to strike 6 buildings and 2 of holes in the ground (most likely empty). That's 105 cruise, effin missiles

There were reports that 40 have been sold to the Syrians... seems high but there definitely are some there. And in the second launch there are 13 missiles so raises questions. May just be chaff decoys as one poster suggested.

no more french arguing
come on people stop that stupid arguing about France, the french, french fries and shit. you've already crapped the other thread with this, it's useless waste of forum pages.
Syria did the job done, and Russia held its horses back, just in case the stuff turned bad... apparently Russia did the early warning job quite well.
There were many tactical assets in the air nearby, as many as 13 tankers over the Med. F15 F16 F22, everyone was backing up against any "miscalculation"...
let's hope it's all done, and syria kick the US, the Brits and the French from Syria.
( Erdogan kept his word...so far)

I suspect it to be used against missiles equiped with IIR. I don't think there was SEAD missions.

Yee Gods, talk about tightly accurate with no collateral damage, almost Photoshop perfect. This incidently is the damage supposedly done by 57 Tomahawks and 19 JASSM, with not a single near miss crater. Incredible.

Per @annemp13 and @syknapptic, the strike demolished a bunch of buildings at the Barzeh chemical weapons site. Now you see them; now you don't.

Where they came from, they certainly made it interesting for the A/D teams.
EDIT
So strike aircraft came from France, Cyprus and Qatar.

Re: Syrian War: News #17
there was collateral damage, sort of. 3 wounded cause some missiles hit a residential area.
On that note, that is not even close to impressive, especially since 103 missiles were fired but few hit their targets.

Yeah I got that. I just remember that some cruise missile have IIR seeker for terminal attack so flares should somehow distract the on board computer by maskin a large part of the picture so it couldn't find the target.
But ot seems to be an old video so.

I posted this before, he is some Wahabbi zealot trolling this forum. His idols got creamed in Syria so he is bitter and venting his hate
here. His apologia for Wahabbi slave trading is further evidence that he is not ethnic French.
People should not bash France too hard. This troll is the gift to the world from other 3rd world toilets.
I think you dont understand well?
I hate Islam and made more than once clear that all those sand people are same for me.
I also made clear that i dont care if Assad poisoned some idiots or not. What i care for is France making a point.
If i would be president i would nuke Mecca, Tehran and all those shitholes. Unfortunately i´m not, so i take what i get.
Your problem here is that i´m not on Russias side. I see Russia as enemy of France. I also see USA negative.
The best strategy i see for France is to play both sides and get the best out of it.
As for gift of the 3rd world. You should visit our island paradise in indian ocean La Réunion. Its right next to Madagascar. You can book tours to Madagascar.
Its always fun. You go there with luxury cruise ship for 5 days. The ship stays outside and they ship you on in the tender boats. Nature of Madasgacr is awesome but the "people" there are so patheticly poor. You see children whose face is "molten" because malnutrition. They virtually starve there and then you go back on the ship and they hand you cold towels, a drink and some women play Mozart with violin.
I´m not a cuck like you. I´m openly propagating our european superiority. I see 3rd world countries like Syria and Iran as disgusting and as playfield for us

My fiance, which is Russian got Schengen in 48 hours in february, so yea... how about no.
And in 2016. France had 600.000 tourists from Russia.

I'm a "mediterranean people", ethnic as you call it. You look like you're from the other side of "Mediterranean".
PS. I've been to all of those countries, more than once, with no need for visa.

Re: Syrian War: News #17
When looking at those pictures, I could say there were few missiles which hit those targets. So cca 30 missiles, which comes through Syrian AD is realistic number, definitively those objects were not hit by 100+ missiles and bombs.
What I would like to enlight in this night is something else. I read many comments that Russia did nothing in this attack. Really? Think again.
Two years ago majority os Syrian territory was in hands of ISIL and other terrorists with many AD sites destroyed and majority of air defense personel killed in battles with terrorists. After Russian intervention Syrian army start liberating Syrian territory, so they could restart building their air defense network with more and more liberated air defense sites. Russia also help rebuilding and modernizing Syrian air defense capabilities and what is more important they trained new Syrian AD personel. And what we could see is the fact, that Syrian AD is every day more and more capable and competent in those periodical attacks, specially from Israel.
This massive NATO attack last night was the best test for Russia, how well they trained and rebuild Syrian air defense. They tracked the situation carefully and alarm and inform Syrian AD in real time, but than they leave Syrian air defense to fight this fight independetly with option to intervene if situation went wrong. Syrian air defense pass this test with excellent result with shooting down 70+ missiles and bombs. They fight off massive attack even with old SAM complexes. True, Syrian AD have modern Buks and Pantsirs, but in limited numbers and it seems they are mostly in Homs area, which is most important logistic crossroad for supplies for Aleppo, Palmira, Deir Ezzor and for Damascus and it seems that damascus area is mostly defended by older S-200 and modernized S-125 Pechora-2M, which take the fight against cruise missiles and bombs.
Anyway, considering, that limited Syrian air defense was capable to fight off massive attack, it now clearly show to NATO, that Russian and chinese air defense are more than capable to fight off full massive NATO attack and that they don't have proper weaponry to destroy Russian or Chinese IADS.

Russia itself reports minimize significantly the failure of NATO attack on Syria ,not by what they say ,but what
they don't say..
103 missiles launched... but only 7 hit their targets in only one place , the research abandoned facility.
about ~71 direct hit interception.. and about ~26 that were jammed and crashed on sand.. leaving only 7 missiles..
that managed to reach the facilities.. None of the military bases hit , and the Frenchy guys calls this a "victory"..
when even the Pentagon admits ,they only hit the research facility of Syria.. what they dont say is that they only
hit those facilities ,because all their attempts to Hit Syria military bases failed.. LOL.. it the biggest show of weakness
of NATO military capabilities. lol
new interesting report.. Syria Today ,aftermath of the bombing..
