Rumor goes #US wants to abandon #Tanf base and ship everything to #Shahadi front (where #SDF resides) to fight #ISIS

    Jake Godin‏Verified account @JakeGodin

Col. Dilon says coalition will no longer support Shohada Quartayn operations in southern Syria. Will continue supporting VSO fighting ISIS.

Col. Dillon on Tanf and VSO access to Abu Kamal/MERV: "We believe there will be an opportunity to use them against ISIS in MERV."

    He said a bit more

On Thursday, spokesman for the US-led coalition Col. Ryan Dillon revealed the current numbers of ISIS fighters in Syria and Iraq. According to Pentagon, about 20,000 ISIS fighters still control several areas in the two countries.
Col. Dillon said that between 5,000 and 10,000 fighters are now in the middle Euphrates Valley area running from Deir Ezzor to the Iraq-Syria border region. He also revealed that the number of remaining ISIS fighters in Raqqa is less than 2000. ISIS reportedly has 1,000 fighters in Tal Afar, 1,000 fighters in Hawija, and 1,000 fighters in Qaim area on the Syrian-Iraqi border.

Wonder how many of those rebel forces will want to keep getting supplied from the US... a supply that can clearly dry up at any stage without any warning... except perhaps a tweet from Trump...

Wonder if the Russians might use this to get a few more of the factions on side before ISIS is done.

If the CIA is pulling out, as many sources say, and it actually happens then you could be right with the forces in the west where both salaries and supplies are under threat. Also the probability of al-Tanf going to the SAA.

In the east, under Pentagon control, there seems to be no letup in support and gear going in.

Sounds like the Tiger Force and SAA will stop at the Deir ez-Zor border and consolidate their gains. Thus allowing the focus to be on the Sukhnah and Hama / Homs operations to catch up.

Hey Western propaganda machine, where are you at? Russian (actually it seems that he wasn't Russian, but fuck that, everyone at RT is a KGB agent) journalist was killed! That means Putin killed him, right? Where are the Russia experts McCain and Marco "muh evil Putin has killed so many of his opponents, fuck the facts and statistics" Rubio?

It's just that very few things piss me off as much as the "hur durr so many journalists have been killed in Russia, personally by Putler" meme.

A while ago some Harvard professor got 60,000 likes for his 100% fakes news tweet about the subject. "The cost of dictatorship: look at these photos of journalists killed in Putin's Russia," or some shit.

The BS is totally fake. Most of them were killed in war zones, BEFORE Putin. Statistically the deaths have actually massively declined during Putin's presidency... to basically 0 after 2008-10. Mexico, Brazil and 90s and early 2000s Russia... What do those countries have in common? Journalists (and other people) get killed in those type of places, no fucking shit.

Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth. Goebbels would be very proud. Absolutely shameless demonization, fuck the facts. Sorry, rant over.

The f*cking NATO journalists are nowhere near the frontlines in Syria, they are all sitting back in New York and Los Angeles, etc., and composing
pulp fiction to peddle the narratives of their bosses.

As for Putin killed all the journalists, I have been following this propaganda talking point for 20+ years. NATO media and
obscure "NGOs" (who appear out of nowhere and one cannot determine who runs them) systematically include all the
deaths of journalists due to mafia killings in the Russian provinces as "victims of Putin". Italy had a serious mafia problem
during the 1970s and 1980s and a lot of journalists and judges were killed. I don't recall the "regime in Rome" being
    blamed for the killings.

The NATO fake stream media also routinely includes accidental deaths as "suspicious" and hence Putin's doing. At the
same time journalist deaths in NATO are systematically ignored and fobbed off as "suicides" (as in the case of the journalist
who exposed the CIA drug selling in the USA).

A bit more pressure on Idlib

BEIRUT (Sputnik) — Around 9,000 relatives of the terrorists of Jabhat Fatah al Sham (formerly known as Nusra Front, outlawed in Russia) will leave Lebanese Aarsal region on Monday alongside the militants, a source in Hezbollah told Sputnik Sunday.

"The second stage of the agreement on exchange will start on Monday morning. The Nusra terrorists and their families totaling 9,000 people will withdraw [from Lebanon] in exchange for release of the fighters [of Hezbollah] kept hostage by Nusra," the source said.

The terrorists and their families are set to leave from refugee camps in the mountainous Aarsal region to the Syrian Flita area. From there they will be delivered to Idlib province by buses.

    Interesting is true, from FortRus

The Russian Air Force and the Air Force of the Syrian Arab Republic are smashing ISIS in Deir ez-Zor.

"On the night of July 17-18, the Russian air force struck near the town of Al Mayadin on the Euphrates River in the Deir az-Zor province, the ISIS field commanders Abu Anas Al-Shali and Muhammad Ad-Dari were killed, and with them two specialists - a chemist from Europe, known as Abu Adam Al-Franci and Yahya Muhammad, " it said in a statement. "As a result of the blows, the shop with a laboratory for the production of poisonous substances and an ISIS storage facility of ammunition stuffed with poisonous substances was destroyed, "

Combat aircraft that departed from the airfield in the province of Homs, brought down a hail of air strikes against militants in the Al-Hawiqah areas.

One of the targets of military aircraft was an ammunition depot near the area of Al-Bagilii, which eventually was destroyed during the bombardment.

This is starting to get pretty nasty now, a foretaste of things to come as ISIS forces become more compressed and those that fled from other areas start to become more involved as there are no longer escape options.
