USA - Brazil: hegemon and its “biggest ally”

Unless the US Democrats win in 2020 & Trump is gone, Maduro has ~1.5 year to prepare for a possible war.

What makes you think it'll be different with the Democrats? Just a reminder the current crisis happening in South America started happening under Obama, Soros financed it. They'll likely be even bigger warmongers, especially when you consider they fictitiously believe Putin stole their precious Shillery Clinton presidential bid. The democrats are in a super virtue-signaling SJW mode, and are ready to 'save' the world with 'humanitarian-bombing!'

I hope u r not right! But I don't think a new Administration will start a war in S. America in its 1st year that may turn into another Vietnam/Laos/Afghanistan/Iraq. In any case, the USArmy/MC need to recover from the ill-fated GWOT & re-train for jungle/tropical warfare before even thinking about it.

It was a hybrid war with many proxies. But the US now has troops in Colombia & may send some to Brazil; they will need to be reinforced in a real ground war.

But here you are contradicting yourself! You implied Libya wasn't a war, and that a war in a first term is detrimental to a 2nd term, however you seemed to forget that the Mitt Romney and the Republicans during the 2012 election cycle used the Benghazi incident like a October Surprise, and in turn Obama narrowly won the swing-states in the Presidential election by slight margin (approx. 800k votes total). Benghazi was basically the main talking point for the Republicans during the 2012 election.

You implied Libya wasn't a war,..
it was a war, just like the air war over Yugoslavia. There r different types & stages of wars, & there's no single definition of a word "war".

How does the US give Maduro amnesty when he has never been convicted of any crime? And how is that
some country can impose its legal system on another? Only the UN can arbitrate over disputes and US
    laws stop at US borders.

Russia should apply the same to all of the old world. If it's good enough for the yanquis, it's good enough for Russia.

Maduro is probably laughing at them now that he knows they have no teeth... they will make the country suffer, but he is personally safe... if they could invade they would have, but clearly they can't and now they will resort to petty nasty sanctions and economic blackmail, which should definitely turn a lot of people against the US.

This sort of shit is perfect justification for interfering in US election 2020...

The planting of seeds is already done even if they tried to kill as many as possible in peace time. Some will stay there forever. Now to turn up the heat a bit. Two can play the game.
