I'm sorry but I'm not ordering the dancing girls and champagne until more details come out. These six could actually be the 6 ships talked about at Army 2020 and this is just the official contract signing.

This is a different one, that one was with severnaya and this is with amur shipyard. It seems like for the corvettes they've set up local production for the needs of the Northern and Pacific fleets.

That's the thing. Russians talk about a same contract plenty of times without saying it is the same contract. And the stupid media make the things even less clear since they don't know what they are talking about.

Six were to be built at Amur after they finish the contract they have for 4. Shoigu had made a trip there over the summer prior to Army2020 to be convinced they could handle a second contract.

Moscow. December 24. INTERFAX-the Lead Corvette of project 20385 " Gremyashchy "will be handed over to the fleet early next week, the press service of the Severnaya Verf shipyard reported.
"On December 29, 2020, the Severnaya Verf Shipyard will host a ceremony of raising the Naval flag on the lead Corvette of project 20385 Gremyashchy," the press service said.
It was reported that the Corvette is planned to be accepted into the Navy at the end of December.

It was laid down at Severnaya Verf in St. Petersburg in 2012. It was launched on June 30, 2017. Mooring trials started in January 2018. Factory sea trials began at the end of April 2019. PJSC Severnaya Verf shipyard expects to transfer the lead Corvette of project 20385 Gremyashchy to the Russian Navy on December 25, the shipyard's General Director Igor Orlov told reporters on November 12.
"It passes state tests. We have a contract (transfer, - "if") - December 25. We expect that we will meet this deadline, " Orlov said, adding that "everything is going according to plan."
The initial date of delivery of the ship under the state contract is December 25, 2019. The contract price is 22.6 billion rubles.

Literally a pocket Aegis. We (Philippines) just got our very first of the type and let me tell you, it doesn't even come close to the 20385 . I hope its offered for export soon, and maybe even we could get our hands on one.
