Grain for fishes now. US/UK etc clearly can't protect the shipping at risk.

Note this wasn't in the Red Sea but Gulf of Aden a long way from Houti controlled territory.

FOR THE FIRST TIME - U.S. CENTCOM confirms Yemeni undersea drone attack in Red Sea taking place yesterday - marking major development in the waterway.

Between the hours of 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Sanaa time), Feb. 17, CENTCOM successfully conducted five self-defense strikes against three mobile anti-ship cruise missiles, one unmanned underwater vessel (UUV), and one unmanned surface vessel (USV) in Iranian-backed Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. This is the first observed Houthi employment of a UUV since attacks began in Oct. 23.

The US and UK put themselves into a shitty situation really. Good luck trying to get the Houthis in their mountain holes in Yemen. It seems like they didn't get enough of an experience in mountain fighting in Afghanistan and now they want to repeat it.

As for the UUVs the US started this can of worms by giving such things to Ukraine. They gave them the idea and a working concept. I was wondering when such drones would show up in the Red Sea. About time. Neutral

If the electrics gets fried before capture , then a TV camera is not top secret . This problem , I thought about before , missiles that land without going off , and being captured ! Solution is thermite on a timer , just to make sure ! Otherwise send post cards , greeting cards , or the best singing cards after you open them !

The Rubymar has not sunk yet

The BBC publishes photographs of the Rubymar, which was hit by two Houthi missiles two days ago, has been towed to the port of Djibouti, but is still at risk of sinking...

⚡JUST IN: Yemen Armed Forces’ Spox, Yahya Sarae:

In response to the US-UK aggression, the armed forces of Yemen carried out 3 operations:

🔻The launching of a number of ballistic missiles and drones at various targets in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), south of occupied Palestine.

🔻The targeting of a British ship “ISLANDER” in the Gulf of Aden, using anti-ship missiles. The ship was directly hit, leading to a fire on board.

🔻The targeting of an American destroyer (warship) in the Red Sea using a number of kamikaze drones.

    Cool

A very welcome side effect thumbsup

This was definitely not the US's intention.  Very Happy

    !!!
The Sunni military of the pro-Saudi regime in Yemen, without orders from their command, opened the main highway connecting the regime’s actual stronghold in Marib with the country’s capital, Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthis.

Ordinary Yemeni opponents from among the soldiers and officers who had previously fought against the Houthis, after they entered the war for the Palestinians, began en masse to go over to the side of the Houthis and recognize the power of the young President Mahdi Al-Mashat, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Houthis in Yemen.

Palestine has united the Yemenis, who have been killing each other since 2014, waking up from the heat of Saudi propaganda, recognizing the power of the true people's government of Yemen - Ansarallah.

German warship Hessen fired on U.S. UAV

German warship's radar systems incorrectly recognized an UAV circling overhead as hostile.

Then fired two missiles at it.

It was a US Army MQ-9 Reaper UAV.

But both German SM2 interceptor missiles malfunctioned and fell into the sea.

A drone the size of the Reaper should be a sitting duck... that is why they didn't supply any to Kiev because they would be shot down so easily.

And German naval SAMs can't deal with them... that is very bad.

Not unexpected but an ecological disaster for the sea in that area as the ship's cargo was 19,000 tons of fertiliser.

And that is why the Americans are fighting the Houthies, because the Houthies are eco-terrorists trying to destroy the planet...

Ignore the fact that the Houthies said no shipping through their waters to Israel, and ignoring the failure of the US coalition of peace and love to stop the Houthies, this is all Putins fault obviously.

Will be interesting to see the effect of mineral fertiliser on the sea life... a massive chemical change like that is bound to wipe out some species, but then other species might like the change in acidity and the new chemical balance while it lasts.

Keep a look out for new aquatic life...

    Yemeni Conflict: News #3 - Page 27 20080610

No radiation involved but maybe there is covid vaccine mixed in with the fertiliser... who knows what that might do... Twisted Evil
