If all we hit is pointless things then it's no problem sinking US ships over hitting jack shit is pure insanity, Putin isn't that stupid nor is he that insane.

Even Trump didn't dare attack anywhere near the Russians tonight.

PS: Many important Assets got put under the cover of the Russian AD, manpower etc.

So Literally Trump could not touch them. Putin did protect Assad tonight more then you will ever realize.

Where do you think Assad went Russia knew the attack was coming many hours before it happened.

Yep, that was the last wave. Hopefully its over.

it is over, this is all staged or we do not get the whole story.

you know how chaotic an engagement is?. a single engagement in Afghanistan could took hours or days with the multiple platoons, fire support asets and aircraft are present. let alone an large multi-national strike like this.

General Mattis looks way too comfortable. and no reaction from the Russians.

in the time span of a few hours?. i do not buy this.

    So what?

Considering the rhetorical buildup to this.....it turned out to be a storm in a tea cup

American special forces are not indestructible like many will like to believe.. neither Israeli ones..
they are also Humans and if they caught in the wrong place and bomb will explode and wipe everyone.

I personally have an online friend who was in afganistan ,in an special operations unit and his entire team was killed by talibasn with light weapons in ambush and only he was the survivor.. So American and British forces only in hollywood they are invincible. after that incident ,he dropped from the military.. for the trauma of the experience of all his friends killed. now he no longer wants to deal with anything related with war.. and just could not take any more and quit. he was given honorably discharge and needs psychologist to deal with the experience.

I also knew about of One US aircraft mechanic ,that told me ,that in the last week before he finished his time IRAQ,
Two Apache Hellicopters were shot down.. by insurgency.. but none of this things ever surface in the media ,are keep
quiet...so give a false illusion of invisibility to NATO.

BREAKING: Pentagon says the US has hit all the designated targets and operations are now complete.

    https://mobile.twitter.com/spectatorindex/status/984976856125353984

Well if this is all then whole thing was just another case of Donald emptying his sack and back to usual business next week

Everything was cleared out long in advance and missiles were avoiding coastline (and any other place with cyrillic letters) like a plague

Well know for sure tommorow but like Seig said, Russia covered Syria pretty big

    True.

And the reality is, if this was the whole attack (or even if it wasn't) and Assad comes out mostly unscathed, he is going to emerge even more powerful.

When a loss is a victory.... people are really deluded ...Laughing Syria has become a dumping ground for the excesses of power from the hegemon, there is nothing that resembles anything positive about this.

The war is not ending anytime soon. The occupied territories are not going to become unoccupied anytime soon (and who's going to push the U.S out - yeah I thought so). Pre-war Syria to date are completely different states. There is nothing but disaster in Syria. Nothing here is a win. The aggressors lose nothing....if anything, they've gained a foothold in Syria they never had and burned the state to the ground.

Just like in Ukraine. Lose, what's there to lose if you never had it?

Reestablishing control, which is questionable as to what degree, is not even close to the same control that existed pre-war. People should not drink their own propaganda. It distorts reality.

BREAKING: Strike on Syria won't remain without consequences – Russian ambassador to US

The Syrian Army reports shooting down 20 US, UK and French missiles. When asked about the missiles, the Pentagon during a briefing that it could not comment on the reports.

People should not underestimate this small provocations ... if anyone remembers
What happened in World War 2...  before the war started.. it began with skirmishes
and provocations.. and small attacks here or there.. it was called the Phony War.. for nothing..
Everyone made fun of it... because was mostly a fight of words.. and we know how it all ended.

    with 75 millions people killed.
In this things continues escalating , the time will come for Russia to retaliate and do a real good hit
to NATO...  So the war is far from Over.. you can call this the start of a new Cold War...that will eventually
Go into a Hot war... sooner or later. Since US will not end its provocations.

World war 2 began as a limited small war and with economic warfare... but later ended being what it was..

The Phoney War (French: Drôle de guerre; German: Sitzkrieg) was an eight-month period at the start of World War II, during which there was only one limited military land operation on the Western Front, when French troops invaded Germany's Saar district. The Phoney period began with the declaration of war by Great Britain and France against Nazi Germany on 3 September 1939, and ended with the German attack on France and the Low Countries on 10 May 1940.

One major difference now.. is that in world war 2... war was declared..but took 1 year for real fights to start..
Today war against Russia is not declared.. but they are attacked in games in Syria...to humiliate Russia and reverse
the gains of Russia there against ISIS.

Claims of 200 are not credible. The density of attacks on Damascus was too low:

    https://twitter.com/IvanSidorenko1

If NATO really did unload 200, then Russian systems did engage and blew 60% of them out the sky. There are just
not that many targets outside Damascus that would fit the claimed target list. So there should have been over 100
missiles hitting Damascus. In a densely populated area there would have been much more cell phone video. Instead
we have what looks like under 50 missiles (about one per minute) that gave Syrian systems time to achieve something.

Why not send 10 missiles per minute at Damascus? That would have overwhelmed Syrian defenses. The NATO armada
certainly could have achieved such a fire rate. It looks like only one US ship actually fired anything.

Why? I think if Russia said "Syria will be armed with RT-2PM2 Topol-M(fully armed and loaded) and anyone who launches illegal attacks on sovergin Syria will be on the receiving end of the Topol-M", than these attacks will stop.
