I think they can use more T 90's, it is good to see them using the T 90's.

This is something that we should worry about, the Kurds are trouble.

    https://southfront.org/egyptian-officers-arrive-syria-to-learn-from-russian-military-advisers/

We will have to see where this goes, will we see regular Egyptian army in Syria?

Although it would very welcome and needed to have Egyptian army on the ISIS front line, the only downside would be how effective would they be? and would Egypt buckle under western pressure to withdraw?

Its in Egypt's best interests to deploy troops to eradicate ISIS in Syria, as once ISIS collapses a large number of them will flee to Libya and Sinai region of Egypt which will be bad news. Its always better to fight an enemy in other country than in your own, in terms of damage to infrastructure, and loss of civilian life. But I still think Egypt won't send any troops, this will be another China scenario where there will be hints at sending troops but nothing actually happens. Although its in China's interests to send troops. If China and Egypt sent troops even if it was only on the ISIS front this would be a major boost and help to the SAA. This would free up troops to use elsewhere and at the same time start the push towards Deir Ez Zoir.

If done correctly, Turkey can walk into a trap, they have done this in Iraq, as well. Turkey has no idea about how hard it is to occupy a foreign country. They are doing this mostly to stop the Kurds, if they become a problem for the SAA or Russian interests in Syria or Iraq, than it will be costly for Turkey.

Not really, Turkey does not do stuff anymore without Russian go-ahead. No Turkish aircraft are even operating in Syria ATM.

This is simply not true if this was the case russia would not supply arms to the kurds nor prevent airstrikes in their positions

    From a week ago

After photos of hundreds of ISIS Toyota pickups seized or targeted by the Syrian Army were sent by the Russian army to the Toyota Company in Japan, the company revealed a list of its main customers that have bought the vehicles.

The customers' list shows that a Saudi firm has purchased a sum of 22,500 trucks, Qatar 32,000, the UAE 11,650 and the Jordanian Army 4,500 vehicles from Toyota company. The Jordanian Army had received loans from several Saudi banks for payments.

A large number of the purchased-vehicles by the four Arab countries have already been delivered to the ISIL terrorists in Syrian and Iraq.

Informed sources have confirmed that ISIS has now over 6,000 Toyota vehicles.

Monday, 31 October 2016 Hide and Seek, the story of Jaish al-Islam's 9K33 Osa SAMs

Jaish al-Islam has once again deployed one if its 9K33 Osa mobile surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems in an effort to shoot down a Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) helicopter flying over Eastern Ghouta, Damascus on the 26th of June 2016. Although Jaish al-Islam quickly announced it had successfully shot down the helicopter with a single 9M33 missile, the damaged Mi-25 managed to return safely to Damascus International Airport. In the following days, the SyAAF lost several aircraft flying over or near Jaish al-Islam held territory, once again putting the spotlight on Jaish al-Islam's 9K33 Osa.

I think we don't need any air base in Syria. We have already airport in Gaziantep and Hatay. Also we have an airbase in Diyarbakır and Adana.

Despite some initial success , Last week offensives of the NATO backed Jihadist have been
in the end not very good in general ,According to the the Russian General Staff.
If the numbers he give are correct. This looks like they throwing everything they have
and full desperation mode. Don't think they have tanks in the hundreds. but with Turkey
    support anything is possible.

"All of militants' attacks were repelled. As a result, the terrorists suffered significant losses, including 21 battle tanks, 10 infantry fighting vehicles, six rocket artillery systems, 14 mortar crews, 80 cars with mounted heavy machineguns, as well as 12 car bombs driven by suicide terrorists", Rudskoi said.

Look how many suicide bombers , in theory they should be no reason for them to not have
100 suicide bombers in one offensive. Idiots ready to die ,should be very easy to find in middle east for the right number of virgins Goats promise to jihadist in the after life.

    https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201611031047025865-militants-aleppo-offensive/

In case people don't notice it looks like Russia is effectively Grinding terrorist in eastern Aleppo
with their so called "Cease of fire". They luring terrorist to come out of their safe place to fight in the open. Cool

This is an strategy that can work ,military and politically. Because Russia can claim they are not bombing eastern aleppo under siege ,and just defending themselves from hordes that attacks them violating the cease of fire. the negative side of this is many more civilian casualties happens. Reason why they being evacuated from all alleppo.

IF Russia choose to enter East aleppo and bomb there it risk being framed by NATO ,the malasyan plane way ,with false flags for genocide of 250,000 civilians hostages there. terrorist can kill them using soviet weapons and even plant parts of Russian missiles used in Syria as
"evidence" and later Russia blamed for it.

Suicide bombers , SUicide bombers and more suicide bombers , this is all what terrorist have.
Reason why Syria needs a heavily armored tank force with precision computer controlled guidance to stop terrorist bomb cars very quick and fast. 30 -50 T-72 B3 across the entire western front line will do the job. Just in case they go with full scale waves of endless suicide bombers.

That huge big Smoke blast ,that does not manage to hit the Syria army soldiers still helps to cover terrorist advance with the smoke. Since could take a dozen of minutes before air fully clears. It also hides terrorist advances from Airforce attacks.

VIDEO: Russian pilots escape death moments before ISIS missile hits their helicopterDramatic footage emerged on Friday of a Russian search-and-rescue mission conducted near Palmyra which saved the lives of two Russian pilots who found their aircraft downed by technical failure and subsequently struck by an ISIS missile. The Russian Ministry of Defence said all Russian military personnel survived the incident and landed safely at the Khmeimim Airbase in Latakia just hours later.
    https://youtu.be/zJy9GHTPqKs
The incident took place near Huwaysis, a village in eastern Homs located on the frontline between the Syrian Arab Army and ISIS.

ISIS fighters later swarmed the site and posed for pictures with the destroyed Russian helicopter for propaganda purposes:

Russian jets launch first airstrikes over west Aleppo
    https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/russian-jets-launch-first-airstrikes-west-aleppo/
DAMASCUS, SYRIA (1:10 P.M.) - The Russian Air Force launched their first airstrikes over western Aleppo today after taking a brief hiatus to encourage rebel fighters to allow civilians to leave the besieged eastern neighborhoods of the city.

However, the rebels responded to the Russian request by launching a massive offensive to lift the siege on the eastern neighborhoods, while also preventing civilians from leaving the area.

According to a military source, the Russian Air Force conducted several airstrikes over the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project and Dahiyat Al-Assad Suburb on Friday, killing several members of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) amid their ongoing offensive.

Video footage of the Russian airstrikes in western Aleppo was captured by Hezbollah's media wing on Friday; it shows a Russian Su-34 attacking jihadist positions.

Turkish Army S-70 Helicopters flew over refugee camp near to Atme village a 2 days ago. Because the Minister of Defense and the Land Forces Command supervised the border units. That's all.
