There are some sources saying Egypt may enter in the war directly to support Haftar. If Sissi sends its f16 and rafales to bomb Erdogan "allies" it will be the end. And he has total support from France, Russia, Saudi Arabia. Turkey can't do anything. Erdogan's army is useless in Lybia.

Sisi already announced last week that egypt will never leave turkey to take control on libya , egypt will not go officially there if turkey didn't send troops but if turkey did , all this will be destoyed before even landing in libya .

For now egypt is supporting LNA with ammunations ,armored vehicles ,airdefence and maintainance for their hardware and this is enough for them

The Libyan army destroys 19 armored vehicles of the Turkish regime in Misrata

Major General Ahmed al-Mesmari, a spokesman for the General Command, was quoted as saying in a statement based on accurate intelligence information that the transfer of 19 armored vehicles by the Turkish ship Kusavak was monitored. The ship docked at the port of Misrata. These armored vehicles will be used later in the military operations of the Turkish regime

The statement added that the Libyan Air Force targeted the Turkish armored vehicles upon arrival at the depots and was able to hit and destroy them with high accuracy.

Libyan Army pulls up Turkish ship for inspection

The Libyan National Army said that its naval boat towed a Turkish ship to the Ras al-Hilal port for inspection, Al Arabiya reported.

The ship carried the flag of Grenada and is manned by a Turkish crew.

The army added in an urgent statement on Saturday evening, that the ship was towed to the Ras al-Hilal port for inspection and verification of its cargo according to internationally recognized procedures.

The Libyan army had earlier warned Turkish ships against approaching the Libyan coast and threatened to sink them.

If Haftar wins, Libya will cede its national EEZ to Greek islands. According to UNCLOS, if two EEZs overlap, there is no a strict rule to split the water territory. In other international laws, usually number of inhabitants of a respective region is taken into account. (For example, river flow conventions are usually organized with respect to relative need of population). However, in INCLOS, it is ambigious how to make a division.

Greeks claim that there is no difference. So they claim an island called Kasteorizo, with 40.000 inhabitants can take overlapping EEZ of mainland Turkey with 5.000.000 population , by pure geometry. Of course, Turkey does not accept this bullshit and supports the idea that if EEZ regions overlap, coastal populations and areas should be considered.

Since UNCLOS have ambiguities in this topic, there is no solid EEZ borders yet. Libya and Egypt already accepted Greek and Israeli demands. Because these are just some arabs and it is "Bon pour l'orient"

Of course they were thinking "bon pour l'orient" for Turkey but oops, Turkish Naval Officers pointed out it is unacceptable, and UNCLOS leaves this issue on agreements between bilateral agreements.

It is not "bon" for us. We are not some arabs to be tricked. Just like Sevres, this map will be thrown out to trashbin.

We need energy. Because we have a growing industry.

And now for something completely different. What? I hear you say! What has this got to do with Libya? I see the similarity. Don't you ? There is sound or noise accompanied by some incomprehensible lyrics resulting in some body movements. Same as Libya. And all those engaged in violent movements.

Are there any political parties? National parties?........... No? So you say the only crazy kids in the party are the head bangers, we have been watching?

Once there were political officers. With ideas of organisation. Dreams of utopia. But now there are dreams of having a bigger " dog", in the fight. The people have turned into others dogs in a dog fight.

And if all we have are these crazy head banger kids. Then why not adopt some good kids. Even if they are not our own kids?

Once someone asked a philosopher, why he had no kids of his own, but had adopted other kids? He answered that adopting an older kid, is better. Since you know if it is turned good or evil.

I myself am going to let the kids grow up. And adopt one that is good. Not a head banger. I will come back ten years from now.....

Putin, Macron support crisis resolution in Libya

The leaders have expressed support for political and diplomatic efforts, namely those mediated by the UN and Germany

MOSCOW, January 3. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron have expressed support for peaceful crisis resolution in Libya, namely with the aid of the UN and Germany, the Kremlin press service informed on Friday on the outcomes of a phone call between both leaders.

"During the discussion of the situation in Libya, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron have expressed support for peaceful crisis resolution in this state (Libya - TASS). They have expressed support for political and diplomatic efforts, namely those mediated by the UN and Germany," the message informed.

The sides have also exchanged opinions on Syria, with Putin informing Macron on the implementation of Russian-Turkish regulations on the northeastern part of the country and Idlib. Both leaders have stressed the importance of joint efforts aimed to combat terrorism, highlighting the importance of promoting the inter-Syrian political process and providing humanitarian aid to the civilian population.

There currently are two governments in Libya: the internationally recognized Government of National Accord (GNA) headed by Fayez al-Sarraj, which is headquartered in the country’s capital of Tripoli, and Abdullah al-Thani’s cabinet based in the country’s east, which has the support of the Libyan National Army (LNA) led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

On December 12, Haftar announced the launch of a crucial offensive aimed at taking control of the country’s capital. The LNA has repeatedly stated that it would oppose any foreign interference in Libya’s domestic affairs and threatened to sink ships and shoot down cargo aircraft carrying military aid from Turkey.
