At least in the bad old days 200 years ago, the harsh realities of life forced everyone to get some level of a grip. Now we have a state where
it is possible to get fed and sheltered without having a clue. I think the current moment is unique in human history even if humans have approached
this state (of drone swarms) in the past. I really do think that even medieval peasants had more individualism than the current social media
