Trump is the US president and can stop any aid he likes, when he likes and for any reason he wants to.
he is an elected dictator but still not a king & shouldn't be allowed by the powerful interest groups to act as such. JFK & RFK also thought to enforce the rules against the CIA, Mafia, & the Big Oil companies, but both ended up in their early graves.
The Ukraine hasn't earned any aide from the US... they failed to start a war with Russia and they haven't killed enough of their own people to allow for a NATO intervention so why should the US fund them?
to keep Russians & Ukrainians killing each other & act as a proving ground. In a way, it's a replay of Iran-Iraq War in which the Shiites fought each other, besides Sunni Arabs vs. Persians & Kurds. The West supplied arms to both sides & weakened all of them as a result.

to keep Russians & Ukrainians killing each other & act as a proving ground.

Ukraine isn't about Russians and Ukrainians fighting each other... it is about west leaning Ukrainians killing other Ukrainians who don't want to learn a new language in their own country and don't accept the authority of the government in Kiev that was installed with dirty US money.

The West supplied arms to both sides & weakened all of them as a result.

Weakened them to the point of 11/9, and their infiltration into western society via migration that is going to bite the west in the ass... sooner rather than later.

    he is an elected dictator

Must be great to ignore all the rules of a language and just make shit up.

Elected dictator is a contradiction in terms.

He was elected by the American people to rule the United States of America and he is doing that.

But the smear against Trump that he is engaged in politically motivated persecution of his "political rivals" is utter rubbish. There are
no such investigations. It is Trump who is being persecuted by the D. Party.

Of course it is... when Biden told the Ukraine to fire the person investigating his son... he spelled it out... fire that person or you wont get the money I have brought for you... essentially the Democrats are treating Trump like that is what he is doing now, yet he is actually doing the opposite... he is not saying make up charges and arrest my political rival... he is saying the democrats are not in charge so if you want to deal with corruption then go ahead, and it would be useful to me if you did that.

If the first action is not a crime then the second is not either, but the funny thing is that the reality is that what Joe Biden did was criminal and if Trump was doing that now I would agree that he should be impeached, but Joe Biden and his son are the criminals in this piece of theatre... and of course the Democrat party only sees crime when the criminal is named Trump... it is either trump or putin... they are not clever enough to recognise any other bad guy.

it is about west leaning Ukrainians killing other Ukrainians..
that too, but those fighting in the D/LNR & their folks don't consider themselves as Ukrainians-they now have their own & RF passports.
Elected dictator is a contradiction in terms.
life is full of contradictions, & the US political system is no exception- the executive branch power is a lot greater now. Recall the G. W. Bush years in which he did everything he wanted, the UNSC, Pope, & public opinion be damned.
He was elected by the American people to rule the United States of America..
the electors elected him; many voters just didn't want the Clintons & voted for Trump. I & Ms of others didn't vote for this racist demagogue & bully, nor for any1 else, for that matter. He's a power hungry dictators loving vulgar playboy & a showman that never got mature enough to be a US President.
So, to recap, a group of self-serving statesmen and craven consultants created a fantasy Ukraine that fed into Trump’s primary preoccupations: the supposed crimes of his political predecessors, the embarrassment of his loss of the popular vote in 2016, and his ruthless determination to win a second term.
That fictitious narrative prompted Trump to break the law. And now he is scrambling to prove that he didn’t do anything wrong and that his understanding of Ukraine is correct. ..
When ousted by popular demand in 2014, Viktor Yanukovych had few places to turn. He ended up in exile in Russia. Booted from office by impeachment or popular vote and hounded by investigations into his myriad financial improprieties, Trump may discover that he, too, might need Putin’s protection. Nancy Pelosi’s challenge to Trump that “all roads lead to Putin” may turn out to be prophetic.

    Who said they don't?

If they were Russians or considered themselves Russian why wouldn't they either leave the area and go to Russian territory where they would be safe, or more obviously do what the Crimea did and have a referendum and choose to join the Russian Federation.

You need to stop listening to western media sources... If Stalin had spent 5 billion dollars on coup in Hawaii in the 1950s to get a pro-Soviet Stooge put in to power... perhaps supported by pro nazis and extremists and one of the first things they did was make English illegal in the country... you could be fined for speaking it in public... only the Hawaiian language can be spoken and everyone in a government job had to pass a Hawaiian test and was banned from speaking English or they would be fired. All signs would be replaced by Hawaiian language signs with no English translation.

America instigates a coup in the Ukraine to harm Russia... the Soviet Union instigates a coup in Hawaii to harm the US. Hawaiian people are not American... they are Hawaiian... they are Pacific Islanders... and they are getting abused and used by the US... now of course with any population there will be different groups so when the Soviets go in there and give them their own democracy and freedom from the evil colonial Americans their first laws might be to ban English as a language... that might be fine... I don't know what the situation in Hawaii is like... how many Hawaiians speak Hawaiian in comparison to those who speak English? Perhaps a minority or perhaps even a majority prefer English, or maybe they don't and want their children speaking Hawaiian instead... can you not see that on this alone... even ignoring this change of government is illegal and not representative of what the people want might lead to some to say no... and even fight for that... without having to be ethnically American or fighting for America as such?

    life is full of contradictions,

Not a contradiction... a lie. American people are stupid, so you can call someone a communist and a dictator and they just accept that nonsense because they are too stupid to think for themselves... it makes them easy to manipulate.

the US political system is no exception-

The US political system is merely a money channelling system that moves money from the general population into the pockets of the few... but talk to one of those robots and they will tell you they live in the greatest democracy human civilisation has ever known.

They are attack dogs that are programmed to follow very simple rules and commands... there is something you don't like or want... like universal health care or universal education and you just attach the label communist or socialist and a rabid section of the American community will fight it tooth and nail to the end.

the executive branch power is a lot greater now.

The rich people who own the media and the politicians on both sides have all the power and they wont share with anyone.

Recall the G. W. Bush years in which he did everything he wanted, the UNSC, Pope, & public opinion be damned.

There are only two political parties so any president can do as they please if their party dominates the senate, and the congress and they are in power... but even then they wont tax rich people... or even demand they actually pay any income tax...

Can't bite the hand that feeds.

the electors elected him; many voters just didn't want the Clintons & voted for Trump. I & Ms of others didn't vote for this demagogue & bully, nor for any1 else. He's a power hungry dictators loving playboy & a showman that isn't mature to be a president.

The US election process is pathetic and tedious and takes an enormous amount of time... Even India doesn't take as long as the US does for elections with a lot more people. He passed all the so called checks and balances that make America great. And by the way... are you saying Clinton was mature... if he was a woman he would be called a slut and his friendship with Epstein is probably what got Epstein killed for all those little under age girls Clinton probably fucked thanks to his "paedophile get away island"...

many left for Russia, but most stayed after not accepting the coup in Kiev & taking up arms after & as per forced Ukrainianization nationalist policy, Ukrainian was declared the only official language: Russian isn't being taught in schools but can be spoken among non-officials; all the media, military, law enforcement, & gov. business must now be conducted in Ukrainian.
FYI, Hawaii is the only state that doesn't vote- by the time it wakes up, all the other states r done voting & it's enough to declare a winner, no matter who they would prefer to see in the White House. If it was a true democracy, they would be allowed to vote a day earlier to have their votes count.

The Donbass is russian territory, just as Odessa or Minsk are russian cities. The fundamental problem is that there are still the artificial borders in place that were created by Lenin and Stalin (and Krushchev in case of Crimea). Same with "Ukrainian". For centuries it had the same meaning als redneck in Amiland, some folkes living in a part of the country. Under Lenin it was decided to "recognise" them as different people.

    E. & S. of Ukraine was called Malorossia (Little Russia); the W. is Galicia & Transcarpatia, former Polish & Austro-Hungarian lands + Bukovina taken from Romania- in short, an artificial state created by wars. Before Kiev, "the mother of Russian cities", was made a capital, Kharkov, a S. russian city, was the capital.

Well that is proving my point that the western politicians and media are lying to you... you said the problem in the Ukraine is Russians, but you know now that many have left... going either east or west, that those that have stayed are locals... ie Ukrainian.

The illegal government in Kiev is not fighting Russians, it is fighting Ukrainians.

You can say that Ukrainians should be patriotic and should not speak the language of the occupier Russia... they should speak their native language... to which I would suggest practise what you preach American... stop speaking English and start speaking American Indian or Mexican... depending on the region you live in.

FYI, Hawaii is the only state that doesn't vote- by the time it wakes up, all the other states r done voting & it's enough to declare a winner, no matter who they would prefer to see in the White House. That is disgustingly undemocratic... New Zealanders living over seas can vote in our elections, but Hawaiians in Hawaii can't vote in American elections... boy Americans really have some balls claiming to be a democracy at all... Rolling Eyes

    Banana republic indeed...

mature enough not to rock the boat like Trump been doing up to now.

Most of what Trump has done has been because the opposition have been pushing his buttons or because it was deserved.

He stirred up EU and NATO officials when he was elected and why not... even I remember them all saying publicly that American voters have to vote for Hilary because Trump was not good enough... was he supposed to greet them with hugs and kisses?

His crime in Syria is wanting to take US forces out of there... which is one of his election promises... to bring US troops home from places that make no sense for them to be...

His anti Russian bullshit is not really different from what Hilary would be doing... she hates Russia... and before the election she was talking about a US led no fly zone over all of Syria... that probably would have gotten Americans and Russians killed and might have started WWIII.

She is bought. She is owned by the MIC and the rich and powerful.

America needs more of that like it needs an Ebola epidemic.

Yeah, Alaska was Russian territory too, but for whatever reason it is gone and it isn't coming back... forget about it... Russia has enormous amounts of country it should concentrate on developing and protecting and efficiently using to improve the lives of Russian people.

The difference is that there are no Russians (to speak of) in Alaska. By contrast Novorussia was originally an ethnic Russian region and
this includes the Donbas. If Russia re-incorporated Crimea, it should in principle re-incorporate Novorsussia, or at least parts where
Russians are still the majority. Ethnic Russians remain the majority in the Donbass. They are the indigenous people and not like
Nazi Ukr liars claim some sort of squatters who moved in after the Holodomor. Pure blood libel from Hitler lovers.

The reason why the Donbass has not been "grabbed" by Russia is that it would have played into NATO's hands. It is a fine distinction,
but it is there. Russia is letting the Ukrs dig their own grave which they are doing with zest and zeal. When Banderastan becomes
a 4th world country in the near future, it will disintegrate and Russia will get what is rightfully its property. And NATO will be able to
do f*ck all about since it never gave its regime-change colony any serious financial backing.

that those that have stayed are locals... ie Ukrainian.
those r mostly ethnic Russians or russified Ukrainians.
The illegal government in Kiev is not fighting Russians, it is fighting Ukrainians.
there r different Ukrainians just as there r different Russians, Germans, Chinese, Indians, Koreans, Gypsies, etc. Those fighting in Donbass have either D/LPR &/ RF passports- I'm sure they burned or dumped their Ukrainian passports by now.
You can say that Ukrainians should be patriotic and should not speak the language of the occupier Russia... they should speak their native language... to which I would suggest practise what you preach American... stop speaking English and start speaking American Indian or Mexican... depending on the region you live in
u got it wrong: not all whom u call Ukrainians r native Ukrainian speakers. I myself grew up in Odessa, a multi-ethnic Russian speaking city built by the order of Catherine II, & didn't like learning Ukrainian in school. I understand most of it but can't speak it well. If I hadn't left & stayed there till now, I would hate the policy of forced Ukrainianization & side with pro-Russian/Novorossian forces.
    That is disgustingly undemocratic...
Puerto Ricans, Guamese, & American Samoans can't vote either.
Yeah, Alaska was Russian territory too, but for whatever reason it is gone and it isn't coming back... forget about it... Russia has enormous amounts of country it should concentrate on developing and protecting and efficiently using to improve the lives of Russian people.
Pl. stop lecturing on what they should be doing. There is a long artificial land border dividing Russians & non-Galician Ukrainians who r genetically very close to Russians, & 1 day that border will become history, "to improve the lives of Russian people."

Goodness gracious people... it is OK not to like a president of the united states of america but when you start comparing him with hitler and pol pot don't you think you are taking it a little to the extreme?

The founding fathers may not have wanted an omnipotent president, but did they want every president that hinted at being anti war impeached?

Lets face it... his crime is not being anti Russia enough and being soft on wars that have nothing to do with the collective safety of Americans, but everything to do with the the bank balances of a very few Americans...

    And for:
the United States Congress feel absolutely no shame about supporting one of the most venal, racist, corrupt, mendacious, megalomaniacal, and divisive demagogues to ever serve as president

I think you are seriously underestimating the competition... both in the sense of previous presidents, and the alternative at the time of the vote...

And as for the rest, what a load of old toss... perhaps what the Americans need instead of the shit they have is a real democracy where there are actually more than two political parties offering different things instead of two shades of the brown smelly stuff they have learned to offer... comes out the same as it went in BTW...

In today's world, we hear a great deal about terrorism. Terrorism is often defined as using violent means to overthrow or destroy a system of government.

Defines US international relations for the last few hundred years...

People who believe they are above the law.

Ironic that intelligence agencies that seem to support the democrats prove what you are saying, but not what you are meaning... you are trying to blame all of americas problems on trump when all of its problems started long ago.

Trump is an idiot, but his primary crime is to do out in the open what used to be done behind closed doors in private. With these dealings out in the open we get a much more real picture of the US in international affairs from the last century or two... and it really does not live up to the picture america tries to paint of itself through hollywood and its media...

In fact, a Senate leader who will oversee these removal proceedings is actually working with the White House to ensure Trump's removal, no matter how deserved, does not happen.

Wow... a partisan Senator... a bit like the partisan congressman that voted for impeachment no matter what the evidence was... doesn't that count as balance?

It is certainly a logical result of a two party system that you are running there... call them democrat and republican or south and north...

Even novice attorneys know that prospective jurors who openly admit to favoring one side over the other are routinely dismissed, and if prosecutors and defense attorneys were caught rigging a trial by working together for a desired outcome, they would face disbarment and potentially other sanctions as well.

But novice attorneys also know that actual law and actual morality have nothing to do with this and impeaching a president for asking for the illegal activities of a political rival to be investigated... in other words asking for due process and laws to apply to presidental candidates and their families so criminals don't get a chance to enter the white house is just wrong too.

But if terrorism is too strong a word to describe what is happening in today's America (though I submit it is not), I have another: FOOLISHNESS.

Well comparing a moderately successful US businessman with a fake tan and terrible hair as being like Hitler or Pol Pot is how you started so calling America the seat of terrorism is a great way to conclude that the rest of the world should not give a fuck... I mean it was under Obama that such a thing as moderate terrorists was created as a concept... I guess it is like the IRA... murdering people at random with bombs but for freedom... right?

But now that will be one of Trumps crimes now too...

What could be more foolish than to have members of the Legislative Branch dilute their own power to strengthen the power of Trump and give him an unchecked license to not only ignore any laws this Branch passes, but also to obstruct any and all investigations into his criminality.

The power of the senate is not effected by the decisions it makes... except if it sets the precedent that presidents that wont sign up to go to war get impeached... which is clearly what you are demanding.

Politicians, unfortunately, are incessantly unable to see beyond the next election, so this foolishness is not surprising.

Whereas reporters print what their paymasters tell them to print... don't burn the hand that feeds... keep that war money coming or else...

But those who can see beyond the end of their noses are not oblivious to the dangerous precedent this will set. Trump's acquittal will mean that every president who follows will be able to invoke this unchecked license, and what Trump's Republican supporters in Congress fail to think about is that some of these future presidents will be Democrats.

Republicans can only see republicans and democrats can only see democrats... you have your system... enjoy because it wont change any time soon politicians are not know collectively for courage.

They just do what their financial backers tell them to and try to bullshit their way out with the voters...

is protecting Donald J. Trump, obstructionist extraordinaire, worth creating this precedent and destroying the effectiveness of the "check and balance" system for the rest of America's existence?

Ahhh fuck off... whether Trump is impeached or not the sun will continue to rise in the morning and the rain will continue to fall... even if he is impeached he might not even have to leave office and might even be re-elected... because honestly I doubt voters could give a shit about these so called crimes.

Bill Clintons crimes... adultery... in the oval office... and then bold faced lying to everyone about it for ages is far worse than anything I have seen Trump even accused of... and trump is an idiot and changes what he says on a regular basis via twitter of all venues.

After the constitution was created, Benjamin Franklin was asked, "What have we got, a republic or a monarchy?"

To which Franklin replied, "A republic if you can keep it."

Was one wearing a full body cloak and wheezing, while the other was wearing black body armour and both had light sabres?

Not no mention of democracy BTW...

American people are too stupid for that sort of power and control... it is not their destiny...

How ironic that, without a shot being fired and in the absence of a conquering foreign enemy, the Republic is about to be destroyed, all because a corrupt cabal of myopic, self-serving, amoral politicians are more than willing to place the creation of the monarchy of Donald J. Trump before the good of the nation.

Well at least you are not going to over react about it... I mean do you say such nice things when you go to the UK... they have a monarchy and their democracy is in the shit too... they are voting for idiots because they are afraid of the alternatives, and they too have a two party electoral system and have the choice of cow shit or dog shit every election... makes you proud to be british/american.

BTW also on that website is an article with this title:

"Siberia to separate from Russia to become a part of USA".

Please don't post this shit here in future.

US Politics & Foreign Policy under D.Trump - Page 5 Empty Re: US Politics & Foreign Policy under D.Trump

Post  kvs Tue Dec 24, 2019 6:57 am

The "impeachment" is pure kangaroo court theater.   One of the two articles of impeachment is a total circularity since it pertains to
supposedly that Trump didn't give over all the documents to Congress that the D. Party demanded.   The US Supreme Court has
already stated that there is no clear cut case for this and the Executive Branch can withhold documents from the Legislative Branch.
Note that this is all about the process of the "impeachment" aka inquisition itself and not actual crimes committed by Trump a priori.

The second article of impeachment pertains to abuse of power.   I would like to see a single example of this in the case of Trump.
Even if he demanded and even coerced the Kiev regime to investigate Hunter Biden, that is not a crime.  It's is the choice of the
US president what a US quisling does and what money is given over to it.   Hunter Biden is not any sort of "political opponent of
Trump" and is in no way a substitute for Joe Biden.   Hunter Biden is the only possible target of any Kiev regime investigation
of corruption linked to the USA.   I am not aware of any other Americans actively engaged like Hunter Biden.

Given that Obummer actually corrupted the FBI to engage in a witch-hunt against Trump, his real political opponent, and this
rot has been pursued by the D. Party even after Trump fairly won the election in 2016, it is beyond absurd for the D. Party
to now be accusing Trump of abuse of power.   Trump is the clear victim of abuse of power in this whole sham investigation
circus and the ludicrous impeachment show trial.   They couldn't get him on the Russia meddling hoax, so they concocted the
absurd Ukraine "coercion" joke that Zelensky denied and actually proceeded like trained chimps to "impeach" him.

Now we have that c*nt Pelosi (hairball in Italian) delaying the transfer of the impeachment documents to the Senate.   What
a clown show.   If she sits on them too long, then no impeachment will have taken place.   The Senate must participate in the
farce for it to be "legal" and it is clear that the Senate will hold a set of straightforward hearings (the actual "trial") and flush
    this joke down the toilet.

When was Trump a president during those two incidents. Read my freaking post you loon. I am
talking about the right of the US president to do as he pleases with aid money to a quisling regime but
you spew out some non sequitur about Bush Jr. and Obama's illegal wars of imperial conquest. The
worst that Trump has done is to follow through on the chemical weapons attacks in Syria. But overall
he has been trying to disengage from US imperial wars of colonial suppression. That is one of the
prime reasons why the deep state and its D. Party loyalists are out to lynch him.

I think his post just continued what I was saying about Trump just being the recent in a long line of presidents who have been doing the same thing for a rather long time... how can they treat him differently when all previous presidents bombed and murdered and drone killed people all over the planet for reasons other than to make america great.

It was the make very rich american industrialists and the war industry in the US even richer... but at the cost of American soldiers lives of course.

But it seems everything is Trumps fault... he is Hitler and Pol Pot after all... I mean black people were treated with respect when Obama was in power... no black people got shot by police who were then given a slap on the wrist and a holiday and then back to work when Obama was heading the ship... or NOT.

Republicans generally win because of the tremendous support they receive from White women. More often than not 60%-70% of White women vote for Republican. In 2016 most White women voted for Trump. In the EU and certainly the US White women more than White men believe in white supremacy.

Are you sure... I would think most white women would be voting Hilary in 2016 just because she is a woman... because I mean Obama was so effective in improving racial relations in the US during his time in office... the number of black men shot by police officers who were let off didn't increase by as much as it could have while he was in power so that is good enough for an award right?

Sure as hell. Majority of Whites in the US are women. Traditionally an overwhelming number of them 55%-65% vote for republicans. Even in 2016 election Trump got 55% of white women votes.

Mostly personal interaction with women in US. But that aside, take a look at these links:

Most of the American people I talk to think Trump is the worst thing to happen to the US, but obviously he got elected so I can't take that is the voice of 55% of Americans.

Trump did get elected but a lot of the people that voted for him didn't really vote for him... they voted against Hilary.

I suspect many Sanders voters voted for Trump because Hilary stole their chances for Sanders to get elected.

Honestly I think Sanders would have beaten Trump, but I suspect there are so many oligarchs in the Democrat party and it has shifted so far to the right that they would probably sabotage his chances against Trump this time around.

The main problem for America is that they have two republican parties... one called republican and one called democrat... the people of America have little choice but to vote for one or the other... or do they?

Perhaps what Putin should suggest to the American public (he controls the elections there don't you know) that they should all vote for independent politicians that are not funded by big business or powerful lobby groups... what American politics needs is some fresh new people not covered in blood and instep with the deep state to stir things up... and that means in the Whitehouse, the congress and the senate...

But the American people can't be allowed free choice... they have to select the person the democrat party put forward or the person the republican party puts forward... no other choices are acceptable or allowed.

Trump was genuinely popular by among 50% of Americans in 2016. That is because there are still massive numbers of jobless and lowered income victims of the 2008
"recession". It is that you never hear about this aspect of the longest jobless "recovery" since WWII:

    US Politics & Foreign Policy under D.Trump - Page 5 E2f29-employprojnov2013

So the message "make America great again" (MAGA) by repatriating jobs offshored to China, Mexico, etc., was and remains very popular.

You are hearing the views of Trump installed by the US fake stream media (CNN, CBS, ABC, PBS, etc.) that routinely asserted that he was
Putin's agent and that he as totally corrupt and a racist. The last one takes the cake for in-your-face brazen chutzpah lying. Trump
has been in the limelight since the 1980s and I recall this whole period of him being a public personality. He was never accused of
racism until the whole smear job orchestrated by the Democraps (using state agencies such as the CIA and FBI) against him.

BTW, I am not in love with him. By definition if he is an American nationalist, then he is anti-Russian. But at least he had the potential
of engaging in proper dialogue with Russia. The Democraps are total frauds in this regard. Look back in history, the Democraps have been
this most virulent anti-Russians. For example, Truman...

The MSM is a key tool to induce mass hysteria. This happened in Germany during the 1930s. You can see the same thing today
in the USA. All these lunatics who are railing against Trump are brainless saps who have not used their brains to come to conclusions.
They just regurgitate MSM talking points (lies) and act like zombies.
