3. Only requirement to have no criminal record/speak russian?
4. Is the pay really shxt?
5. Would I lose my American citizenship?
6. Anyone wanna go with me if possible?
7. Anything else guys?

 5 . Requirements provided for in paragraphs 3 and 4 of this Article shall be established by the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation or the head of the federal executive body , in which the present Federal law provides for military service .

So no, you dosen't have to be from the former USSR to join. Sometimes I hate our stupid bureaucrats

I would recommend against that... nice spirit, but they would benefit from having trained professionals rather than keen amatures... plus any international volunteers might end up like the guys who helped the Taleban in Afghanistan but didn't change sides when the US did and ended up in Guantanimo...
