Totally useless. You won't find any enemy cargo vessel around russian waters during a war where this ship operates.

But you will find dozes of decent radiocontrast or IR emitting targets in range, not worthy a solid missile.
Fuel/gas tanks in all the harbors, to begin with.
Plus half of the naval assets are just good to take a solid P-27 as the other half don't need any better than Ch-35.

Hardly. Nothing will be close enough to use this ship and this missile. At least Moskit has a decent range.
They could easily upgrade its engine an fuel and give it a range of 400km though.

The Termit missiles are obsolete. They would probably go for something like the Kh-35 armed version for export if they wanted to upgrade their navy.
The boat you refer to is just a test platform for the Pantsir system.

Yes but is it replacing them worth the effort?
We are talking about boats that have no role in russian future plans for the Fleet.

The Tarantuls come in various versions.
Tarantul-1 is the very basic export version with downgraded electronics and the old and obsolete Termit missiles.
Tarantul-2 was a Soviet version with better electronics and a newer version of the Termit - they still have a few in service but they are basically obsolete.
The Tarantul-3 (Pr.12411) was a major upgrade and fitted with even better electronics and the supersonic Moskit/Moskit-M missile. Russia still has about 17 in service and will remain in service for some time to come. They will eventually be replaced by the Karakurt.
Russia also has two Pr.1241.8 Molniya boats in service but they were bought by the Navy when a customer cancelled the contract.
The Pr.1241.8's are all export orientated boats armed with 16x Kh-35 missiles. This particular type is currently being offered for export and has been exported to a number of countries. This boat is a natural replacement for the early Tarantul-1 and the Osa type missile boats.

They should build a replacement for the Karakurt which uses small gas turbine engines to solve the Zvezda engine bottleneck.

The boat was a single unit known as the Pr.12417 and specially built by the Sredne-Nevskiy shipyard as a testbed for the Kashtan/Kortik system - and now the Pantsir.
Initially known as the R-71 it was laid down in 1981 and commissioned in 1985. In 2014 it was renamed Shuya.

Russian naval ships arrive at Syria’s Tartus in large-scale drills
The naval maneuvers are focused on measures by the Navy and the Aerospace Force to protect Russia’s national interests in the World Ocean and counter military threats to Russia from the direction of seas and oceans
MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. A group of amphibious assault ships of the Northern and Baltic Fleets arrived at the Russian Navy’s logistics facility in the Syrian port of Tartus, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Friday.
The naval task force made up of the large amphibious assault ships Pyotr Morgunov, Georgy Pobedonosets, Olenegorsky Gornyak, Korolyov, Minsk and Kaliningrad completed its transit around Europe and arrived in the eastern Mediterranean as part of the drills under the direction of Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Nikolay Yevmenov, the ministry informed.
"Currently, the ships are in a roadstead in the Syrian port of Tartus where they have begun replenishing their fuel and lubricants, fresh water and food supplies to the required level at the Russian Navy’s logistic support facility in the Mediterranean," the ministry said in a statement.
Russian naval ships can arrive at the Tartus logistics facility to anchor, carry out repairs, replenish supplies or undergo maintenance.
Large amphibious assault ships of Project 11711 (the Pyotr Morgunov) and Project 775 (the Georgy Pobedonosets, the Olenegorsky Gornyak, the Korolyov, the Minsk and the Kaliningrad) are designated to land an amphibious assault force on an unequipped shore and sealift troops and cargo. They are capable of transporting various types of armor.
In compliance with the 2022 plan of the Russian Armed Forces’ training, a series of naval drills is being held in January-February this year in all the areas of responsibility of the Navy’s fleets under the general command of Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Yevmenov.
The naval maneuvers are focused on measures by the Navy and the Aerospace Force to protect Russia’s national interests in the World Ocean and counter military threats to Russia from the direction of seas and oceans.
The drills will cover the seas adjacent to Russian territory and also operationally important areas of the World Ocean. Separate drills will run in the Mediterranean, North and Okhotsk Seas, in the northeastern Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean.
Overall, the massive drills will bring together over 140 warships and support vessels, more than 60 aircraft, 1,000 items of military hardware and about 10,000 troops.

Unconfirmed reports that the cruiser Moskva will head to the Mediterranean.
If true, there will be 3 Atlant (Slava) class cruiser to confront the the aircraft carrier Harry Truman battlegroup.
Would like to see a picture of 3 of them together.
