There is no such a target.

Target is to incorporate Donbass back to Ukraine, without a good , old fashioned holocaust executed on the Russian speakers in that area.

Russia doesn't need area , she have lot of empty land.

It needs neighbours behaving sensibly, capable to live on they own, without the urge to blackmail on a daily basis.

Those Crimean forces would be destroyed in minutes if not seconds.

Are they going to start an imaginary war with Russia? Nothing would surprise me now from the ukies

From the video, the Kiev regime forces deploy their attack hardware inside residential points they control. So they use human shields,
these NATzO "forces of democracy".

in the previous days, DPR militia observed the transfer of the 1st armored Brigade of ukrainian forces from the Volnovakha area, southwest of Donetsk and its transfer to the Rubizhne settlement, northwest of Luhansk..
this includes 103 tanks, 36 Gvozdika 122 mm &  Acacia 152 mm self-propelled howitzers, 18 MLRS Grad units..
the transfer does not prepare for an attack on the LPR, but as reported it covers the border from Luhansk to Xarkov, where ukraine has no troops at all there, near the russian border..

The MoD of #Ukraine is massively pulling heavy armored vehicles, as well as other weapons, to #Crimea. The same actions were noted the other day in #Donbass, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are strengthening their positions near the borders with #Russia.

Not even thinking about the nonsense about provoking Russia in Crimea (which would cause a response felt well inside Ukraine), and only thinking about the heavy vehicles brought from the ukies near the conflict lines in the donbass, can Russia obliterate those using only artillery from well within Russia proper?

Crimea alone has enough personnel and firepower to turn entire Ukraine to Somalia

Under the surreal heading, the Defense website announcing today the transfer of 21 WWII Russian soldiers remains discovered last year in Ukraine and in return transferred 3 Ukrainian soldiers remains discovered in Russia.

There was some chatter about a "full combat readiness" of the Ukrainian forces in Donbas today.

From my understanding, the source of this information is http://strana.ua, not necessarily a trusted site. Take with a big grain of salt.

Technicals are a useful cheap vehicle (compared to military vehicles) to use in rapid movements. Russia using its experience in Syria rearmed some of its forces with technicals instead of BMPs and other armored vehicles. In a flat open landmass they can flank hostile forces well (such as Isis did to the Russian and Syrian forces in Palmyra a few years ago).

Well they now have better atgm that can be used at very long distances so they don't need armored vehicles for such operations.

Most imporrant thing is to train your soldiers and use good tactics. South african armored cars destroy lot of t-54 back in cold war because they used them better than angola used its tanks.

USSR/Russia invented technicals around the time of the 1917 revolution. They were known as tachankas.

Wikicrappia tries to attribute tachankas to Ukraine. BS. The word tachka is Russian and not "originally Ukrainian".
This is yet more of the theft of Russian history by western sponsored vermin.

How does this guarantee that Ukraine will not allow NATzO bases to be set up next to Russia's borders?

HATO bases are of no importance... HATO bases in the stans and in georgia and finland and indeed Turkey and even Ukraine... so what... what difference will such bases make except as target coordinates for the first artillery strikes.

If there are no HATO bases in Ukraine what justification could they use to nuke them if WWIII kicks off?

HATO forces on Russian borders are cannon fodder... during WWII when Germany invaded a European country the local forces normally rushed to the border and were often cut to ribbons and surrounded and very easily destroyed.

Having to spend billions of trillions of dollars to fix the Ukraine and fix their economy and they will still not be satisfied and Russia will still be the bad guy for tricking them to side with the west... much better for the HATO forces to go in there and give them the land of milk and honey they were expecting...

The weather in eastern Ukraine is definitely warming up. The window of opportunity is closing.
