My exact thought. There's saying that a fool gets beaten even in the church. Of course MANPADs could be useless to shoot down some drones if they high enough and also they present little target.

There will be no repeat of UN sanctions against Iran like the past fake nuclear scare. Russia and China will NOT allow it as Iran will be an integral part of OBOR and the upcoming Eurasian integration plans, and neither have any interest in enabling any Yankistani plots in the region. MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Troops loyal to the Syrian government shot down a drone overnight suspected of killing three soldiers on Friday in southwestern Syria, according to the reports.

The armed drone was struck down by anti-aircraft units of the Syrian ground forces operating in the Quneitra province, the Al-Masdar newspaper said.

According to the outlet, Syrian troops were attacked in the area between the towns of Al Hamidiyah and Abu Shabta as they made in-roads into territories held by militant forces.

Idlibistan is quiet because of Turkey not USA so I'd say Russia has them by the short ones since they went ahead with this in the first place​

As for chemical party I don't think it will work this soon after Manchester, empathy is not up to specs

MANPADs are not ideal solution for UAVs especially strike drones which often have very low IR signature and fly on decent altitudes.

Looks like the US really doesn't want to give up the Syrian side of the border. How dare the Syrian Government deploy its troops on its own land. Don't they know who the US is?

The US military and Israel wants to completely partition Syria and turn it into
another Palestine. So later they can slowly do what Israel did to Palestinians little
by little take them their entire territory. Probably TRump is not interested in Syria
partition but in the end he does not have full control over its own Government ,
CIA and military. Turkey in the other hand seems will be happy with just holding Northern
Syria and stop US arming kurds.

When it comes to Syria army progress.
Is too early to celebrate anything. They are spread too much and any major offensive
by NATO or Israel could reverse their gains in small time. So this conflict in Syria could
last a decade if not more. War will not end with the territorial advance of Syrian army.
But only when Turkey ,Jordan SAudi Arabia stop arming jihadist ./terrorist to fight Syria army.
Israel will never stop its aggression in the south but in their flank is more difficult to hold territory for jihadist..

It will very interesting to see how Russia, the SAA and Allies respond to this. The stakes have been raised, I think the SAA with the support of Russian Speical Forces and the VKS should just push forward, what do you all think?

You are right about everything in your post Vann. The only stop these countries from supporting terrorism, is to always have a hand on their throat, support Hezbollah against Israel, support the Houthis against the Saudis and support the PKK against Turkey. This is the only to stop these countries.
