Even just 100 years ago it would not require a foreigner to suggest such a course of action... it would already have been done...

At the start of WWII Japan had impressive industries in aerospace and naval design... even the British had nothing like the Yamato or her sister ships, and yet we are told the British ruled the waves...

Without the Americans to counter them the Japs would have had their way, just as without the Soviets to counter Germany Europe would have been under German control fairly quickly.

Zakharova compared the economic situation in Japan to a horror film, by Alexandra Yudina for VZGLYAD. 07.23.2024.

The anti-Russian sanctions imposed by Japan have resulted in a deep crisis for it; the economic situation in Japan resembles a horror film, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

According to her, Tokyo took all the steps dictated by Washington, which is why the Chinese auto industry has flooded into the Russian market, TASS reports .

“This is a real horror movie that they have driven themselves into,” the diplomat emphasized.

Zakharova also expressed confidence that Tokyo will not be able to regain its position on the Russian market to the same extent, and in general the country is not capable of pursuing an independent foreign policy focused on its national interests.

Moreover, according to Zakharova, Japan does not have the right to claim permanent membership in the UN Security Council.

In June, Japan expanded sanctions against Russia.
