Sunflower was threshed from 674.4 thousand hectares (1.4 million hectares), 1.5 million tons (2.3 million tons) were harvested with a yield of 22 c/ha (16.5 c/ha). Rapeseed was harvested from 1.2 million hectares (940.3 thousand hectares), 2.8 million tons (1.8 million tons) were harvested, the yield was 23.3 c/ha (18.9 c/ha). Soybeans were threshed from 261.5 thousand hectares (484.6 thousand hectares), 559.3 thousand tons (804 thousand tons) were harvested with a yield of 21.4 c/ha (16.6 c/ha).
Agricultural organizations and farmers harvested potatoes from 88.4 thousand hectares (96.6 thousand hectares), dug up 2.3 million tons (2.1 million tons), the yield was 259.8 c/ha (221.3 c/ha). Vegetables were harvested from 84.8 thousand hectares (86.2 thousand hectares), 1.8 million tons (1.8 million tons) were harvested with a yield of 217.7 c/ha (213.5 c/ha).
Sowing of winter crops was carried out on 7.4 million hectares, which is 1.1 million hectares less than on September 15 last year (8.5 million hectares).

Last year yields in the South and Volga region were lower due to very dry conditions. But you are right, in general, yields are on a slow upward trajectory as is the land under cultivation.Kiko wrote:

Vegetables in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) farms were harvested from an area of 94.9 thousand hectares (in 2021 – 96.4 thousand hectares), 2.2 million tons were harvested (in 2021 – 2.1 million tons) with a yield of 228.9 c/ha (in 2021 – 221.8 c/ha).
The AKKOR press service also noted that the sowing of winter crops was carried out on an area of 8.6 million hectares (in 2021 – 10.1 million hectares).

I am talking about this grain year exports. And clearly have in my previous postings. For 2022 campaign Y/Y exports are down even though this year's crop is much higher. Due to the record harvest, they need to move much higher volumes of wheat for export. Otherwise, they'll start to have problems with storage.Scorpius wrote:

Crop forecasts in Russia for September 28, 2022
According to the forecast of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the grain harvest will approach 150 million tons, wheat – 100 million tons.
SovEcon raised the forecast of gross grain harvest from 142.6 million to 151.4 million tons, wheat harvest increased to 100 million tons from 94.7 million.
IKAR (Institute of Agricultural Market Conjuncture) raised the forecast of grain harvest to 150-152 million tons, including wheat – up to 99-100 million tons.
According to the estimate of the company ProZerno, in 2022 the total gross grain harvest will reach 146-147 million, wheat – 96 million tons.
Rusagrotrans has raised the forecast of the gross grain harvest to 153 million tons, the gross wheat harvest may be over 100 million tons.
The Russian Grain Union predicts a gross grain harvest of 140-144 million tons, of which 94-95 million tons will be wheat.
In a September report, the US Department of Agriculture predicted wheat harvest in Russia in the amount of up to 91 million tons.
The September report of the International Grain Council (IUCN) increased the forecast of gross grain harvest in the Russian Federation by 7.5 million to 136.4 million tons, including increased wheat harvest to 93.4 million tons (in the August report – 87.6 million tons).
During the week, the forecast of grain harvest was revised by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, SovEcon, ICAR, Rusagrotrans, the International Grain Council.
