I use a hosting site like "imgur.com".

Have been reasonably happy with imgur.

When you click on reply and are on the post a reply page above the text area to type your text and below the title area are some tools.

From left to right the first box is letter editing tools (bold Italic, underline etc) and then the alignment tools... left, centre, right, fully justified. Next we have the bullet points group and then special options for quoting etc. The fifth box along if you hold your mouse arrow over the icon with a polaroid photo with a computer floppy disk over the bottom right corner of it it will come up with the text "Host an image"

Click on that button and follow steps finding the image on your hard drive.

On the screen with three links highlight the middle link and copy and paste that into the main text area and then click upload and when you post the message the image should appear... choose preview instead of post to check that it works.
