RMF 5 Year Anniversery

It has been 5 years since the beginning of RMF and I am proud today of what was started then.  The goal was to bring together a tight nit community of those interested in Russian military affairs and we have done it.  The content is good, the discussions informative and we grow every quarter bringing new people.  I would like to give personal thanks to our beloved GarryB, RMF would not be what it is today without his dedication to this site.    There are many others i thank for continued support.  If you didn't catch it before, domain hosting has been purchased for 5 years so we will at least double today's anniversary.  Cheers to the next 5 years!

Thanks to Vlad for providing me with an outlet for my dribble... a lot of people who don't like computers ask me what the appeal of the internet is... my answer is usually that the main problem without the internet is that most people are so different and have different views and interests, so someone in a small community is unlikely to find lots of people with the same interest to chat about, while in big cities where even next door neighbour dont talk you will have even less chance of finding someone who can hold a decent conversation in the topics that interest you... they can often add to your knowledge and extend your understanding.

Thanks for this forum, created by Vlad but made a real forum by the members who post... I wont name you by name because I will miss someone out.

And make sure you take a taxi home... yah bunch of alcoholics...
