The people on twitter seem to know squat about what goes on in Russia and saying that they are ashamed to be canadian because a Canadian athlete a selfie with Putin? These people should be ashamed of themselves for their own ignorance and stupidity.

So the key is this. To break the Jewish propaganda you don't need to prove it wrong, you need to convince Westerners that your way is the better way for a higher standard of living. You do it by example? you do it by force? by a combination? the point is, there is no other way. Russia is too big to left unnoticed, they will come again and  again back for more until they have their face smashed.

Believe me, there is a huge number of Canadians who either 1) dont really care or 2) dont believe what is being told tp them regarding what media tells them. I hear it a lot. Some even ask me my opinion amd I just nicely tell them were they can look for answers that has both sides information. These people who go nuts over putin or Russia are usually people who have an agenda in the first place or who are easy to convince. The ones with the agenda also belong to the LGBT, and its community. As well, a lot of the gays will follow lgbt group blindly because they think that the group will somehow bring their peoples....ways.... to freesom and success (dont know how else to word it) and they are most vocal. Even got to as far as comparing Putin to Hitler (I wonder how the jews feel about that since Putin has not condemned a single gay to prison, let alone death. And yet Hitler condemned millions of jews to death).

One would think with the internet being so open, that there would be more smart people. But people are just as stupid as ever and will blindly follow what is told to them. No questions asked. Then they will claim they are Russian or they been their or their friend is from there to press further their agenda by trying to sound like they have a leg to stand on.

I think I am more frightened of a time when western leaders come to like and praise the leader of Russia... that will be very bad for Russia.

I will admit, there are a lot of problems in Russian gov. But almost all gov there is a problem so Russia isnt really singled out. But if a semi competent gov can make a country that successful in a short time, then I would really like to see what a full competent gov can do. Would be nice, but a gov position usually corrupts everyone.

I think that there is a fine line between being critical but giving suggestiom to fix things, and simply being critical for the sake of it because you dont like the guy.

Putin isnt the saving grace like everyone thinks he his, but you have to admit the changes (for better) your country has seen in the last couple of years. Even here, we cannot ignore the changes what happened in your country and there are people and even media (local papers for example) who praised Putin and the gov for the more success than they had under democratic Yeltsin. But I think, like everyone whos been in power for too long (we know that well here in Canada), the people in power become lazy, and complacent so things really dont progress more. Maybe Russia does need a new leader to bring a new face and a fresh mind to the game of politics.

I think we all need to be rational here.

I respect your position but I see that in every issue you have a negative opinion. I see that you are not a hater of your country, quite the opposite, so I am a bit puzzled.
I understand that it is due to ideology but still Russia has made substantial efforts recently in some areas and you don't seem to recognize this.

PS Let me add this. I visit Russia, mostly Moscow and St Petersburg about once a year for the last decade and the level of improvement for the average citizen,
year by year is staggering. At least what is visual. I don't know whether Russians realize that economic indexes are not in parallel with daily improvements....

TR-1 is very pessimistic... that is not a secret... but I think we in the west forget that up until about 2008 there were plenty of promises of reform and spending on the military that was all just talk and no substance.

I think even TR-1 would have to admit that Putin has put that right and the military seem to be heading in the right direction... the number of threads on here where foreigners want to join the Russian military alone tells you they are doing the right things and that the future looks much brighter.

Having said that it wasn't just the military that suffered under the stagnation of the 90s and early 00s, the whole military infrastructure and military industrial complex needs funding, work and reform and that is in the process of happening now too and it will be an ongoing process.

We talk about 2015 as being some magical time when the new vehicles will start to enter service and 2020 when 70% of equipment in the military will be new, but really it wont be until about 2025 that we will know how secure Russias future is and what sort of role it might have in the world.

TR-1 reminds us that not everything is shiny and perfect and beautiful and that claims need actions to back them up.

The fact that he sometimes comes across as a negative c  t is I am sure the price he is willing to pay.

I don't see anyone else in Russia that is putting their hand up to do a better job than Putin.

We simply don't know if putin is the best at managig the russian military since all the candidates have never run the countries but judging by his predecessors putin looks like a real genius. However I don't think he's the biggest military management genius in russia. With Zyuganov continuing the USSR's legacy I'm more inclined to belive the military would be in better shape if he was president instead of putin of course at the cost of some other sectors.

In commonwealth countries like yours or Canada or Anglosaxon lead like US you can't go too far in rioting or plotting against you country.
Once public opinion realize that you try to break the inner stability of society you are done.
This is the reason why USA plots against anybody else, that they are confident  that they can handle such attacks better than their opponents.

I spend  2010 living in London. Long story short, it is not a great thing to be a 25 year old English native in town.
It is not a rush situation but you are semi-competent you realize that your parents 30 years ago where in better shape all in all. Yet nobody really gone bananas there.
