An armed militant was destroyed near Simferopol

SIMFEROPOL, May 11. / TASS /. Employees of the Crimean department of the FSB liquidated a wanted member of international terrorist organizations near Simferopol, who offered armed resistance during the arrest. This was reported to reporters on Tuesday at the press service of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

"With the military support of the special forces of the FSB of Russia and the National Guard, an operational-combat event was carried out, the purpose of which was to detain a wanted member of international terrorist organizations. thereby putting up armed resistance. During the clash, the militant was neutralized, "the message says.

Urgent investigative actions and operational search measures are being carried out. "The main investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol is considering the issue of initiating a criminal case," the press release said.

A source in the operational services of the peninsula previously told TASS that law enforcement officers in Crimea had to eliminate a suspect who resisted with the use of weapons.

Investigators opened a criminal case. "The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, based on the results of materials received from the FSB of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, initiated a criminal case against a 49-year-old resident of Simferopol, suspected of encroaching on the life of law enforcement officers (Art. 317 Of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) ", - said in the message of the head office of the Investigative Committee.

Investigators established that on the morning of May 11, a resident of Simferopol, interfering with the activities of the FSB officers in the performance of their operational assignments, opened fire on three members of the special forces. As a result, the security forces did not receive any damage, the press service noted.

FSB prevented a whole series of planned terrorist attacks on the territory of the country

The FSB of the Russian Federation has successfully prevented a number of terrorist attacks that are being prepared on the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria, the Astrakhan region, as well as in Moscow. During the special operations, two terrorists were detained, and six more militants were killed. This is reported by TASS with reference to the (DSP) department.

Members of ISIS (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) planned to carry out several terrorist acts on the territory of Russia at once this summer. Two of them could have occurred directly in the capital.

So, according to the information voiced by the FSB Public Relations Center, on June 29 in Moscow, a citizen of the Russian Federation was detained, who, with an accomplice from the Astrakhan region, planned to carry out an attack on citizens using cold steel and automatic firearms .... The accomplice of the offender was eliminated during the arrest.

Another terrorist planning to detonate an improvised explosive device in a public place in the capital was detained on July 1.

The remaining five militants from the extremist organization were identified by the FSB in Kabardino-Balkaria. During the detention on July 3, the criminals put up armed resistance and were eliminated.

In the course of the special operations carried out, the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs seized firearms and edged weapons, grenades, religious extremist literature, IEDs with striking elements, as well as components for their manufacture. At the moment, investigative measures are underway. The identities of the detained extremists were not disclosed.

In St. Petersburg, FSB officers detained the Estonian consul

It is reported about a high-profile arrest, which was carried out by officers of the Federal Security Service. In a message from the FSB Public Relations Center, it is said that intelligence officers carried out an operation in St. Petersburg.

The result of this operation was the arrest of a man named Mart Lätte. This information is of particular interest due to the fact that Mart Lätte is the Estonian consul in the northern capital of Russia.

According to the FSB DSP, the Estonian consul in the city on the Neva was detained at the time of receiving materials of a classified nature. After the arrest of Mr. Lyatte, it was noted red-handed that this kind of activity - to obtain materials with closed access - could not be compatible with the status of a consular officer with diplomatic status.

In the statement of the FSB DSP, it was noted that this kind of activity of an employee of a foreign diplomatic mission is openly hostile in relation to the Russian Federation.

What can now threaten Martu Lyatte?

In accordance with international norms, a diplomat cannot be put on trial on the territory of a foreign state. In this regard, the consul will most likely be expelled from the territory of Russia (declared persona non grata).

In this case, the special services may receive information about (those) with whom the Estonian consul actively cooperated on the territory of the Russian Federation, seeking to obtain information of a closed nature.

This Bashirov and Petrov propaganda (like Boris and Natasha) is a pathetic little smear on the Russian intelligence services. Thanks to
Putin they have become functional and are doing the essential job of protecting Russia. Back in the 1990s, Yeltsin's compardor regime
stuffed hacks like Berezovsky and Litvinenko into security positions and degraded the function of these services.

You see how effective the revival job has been in the case of Belorus. Washington and its pals were really planning on a combined
Maidan plus coup removal of the "regime". Russian intelligence services must have broken this ploy back in 2020 and helped neutralize
the coup attempt. Recall that Putin saved Erdogan from a US engineered coup as well.

I am waiting for more way post factum attribution of all sorts of incidents to Petrov and Bashirov. Because Russia only has two intelligence
agents and all they do is engage in cheesy, useless "spying".

So American embassy staff with diplomatic immunity is now tasked to openly sabotaging Russian infrastructure whenever they have an opportunity.
I would suggest that embassy staff of Russia, China, Iran etc to engage in this same activity to get even with Amerislime. Starting wildfires in western us would be a good start. Any activity that would bleed America of its resources is welcome.

EDIT: I have no idea how the first video link showed something off-topic.

Russian intel chief: ‘We are seeing the birth pangs of a new multipolar world’, 30.07.2021.

Sergey Naryshkin emphasized that a chain of recent geopolitical and climate events was the logical outcome of the global processes that were unfolding in the world, including the trend of the US losing its position as the only global superpower.

MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/. The current chain of geopolitical and epidemiological problems is not accidental because it is the result of global processes, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director Sergey Naryshkin said in an interview with TASS.

According to him, empty stands at the Tokyo Olympic venues and strict sanitary requirements for participants in the Games may seem to be illustrating the complicated processes going on in the world. "The impression grows stronger when you read the news feeds, and apart from reports of sports victories, see news stories about terrible natural events and disasters occurring in various parts of the world," the SVR chief pointed out. "There are reports of new coronavirus mutations, which are more dangerous for humans. News keeps coming about mounting terrorist threats in the Middle East and in Central Asia. Clearly, this sort of chain of geopolitical and climate events is not an accidental coincidence, but the logical outcome of the global processes that are unfolding in the world right now," Naryshkin added.

"I mean, first and foremost, the trend of the United States losing its position as the only global superpower. In this situation, the US is unable to resolve the above-mentioned global crises alone," he emphasized. "In the face of the pandemic, the US demonstrated utter confusion, which significantly affected its authority in the eyes of the international community," the Russian foreign intelligence chief stressed. "The US move to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and end the Iraqi military campaign once again proved that the so-called hegemon is no longer able and willing to bear responsibility for resolving complicated political situations and global crises," Naryshkin said.

"Perhaps, we are witnessing the birth pangs of a new multipolar world, free of the arrogant hegemony of any state," the SVR chief emphasized.

The FSB stopped the smuggling of SAM homing heads to Ukraine.

Security forces caught red-handed a citizen of Ukraine who was involved in the smuggling of military products. In addition, it became known that he was involved in the activities of the SBU.

The Yoshkar-Ola City Court of the Republic of Mari El issued a verdict against the detained man. He was sentenced to three years and four months in prison for attempting to smuggle an anti-aircraft missile homing unit across the border. The Ukrainian will serve his sentence in a general regime penal colony, the FSB Public Relations Center reported.

While in the Russian Federation, the smuggler used forged documents, pseudonyms, and also took other measures of conspiracy. Among the papers seized from him, a document was found indicating that the man worked for the Security Service of Ukraine.

What a retarded joke. Three years? This clown should have gotten 15 years minimum. Three years for a major crime that involves the potential death of dozens of Donbass residents or
even Russian soldiers in the future is ludicrous.

Dunno why they lifted her ban. Shows weakness and stupidity.

It would be better to turn her around and tell her to go home as she is not wanted.

But the Russians always do this "we don't want to I crease issues" bullshit mantra. They always want to make it look like US is one causing it (which they are) but in end, no one cares. So Russia should of said no more talks.

At least the good news is that who she talked with Ryubikov, stated that relations may worsen now than get better. So at least they aren't stupid enough to think things will get better.

US slashed amount of Russian embassy workers to bring it down to parity with Russia. That's fine. Russia just needs to slash down us employee numbers too

I think Russia cannot be absolutist in diplomacy. Sure the the Americans want to genocide Russians. But ignoring them is not
in Russia's interests. Having some contact meetings and throwing these clowns some bones is not "weakness". The test is
what Russia does after the meetings.

Seems to me that she would have the best possiblity of getting concessions from Russia because she is a well known hard core anti Russia person the media and Democrats and Republicans wouldn't claim she caved to Putin or was Putins puppet or some such rubbish... ie she could get away with throwing the Kurds and Ukrainians under the bus to get cooperation with Russia on China... but Putin is not that stupid and is not going to give up strong relations with China for slightly improved relations with the US... the US simply don't offer a good enough alternative.

Pretty sad that that is the best the US can put forward when dealing with Russia... plus a chance to monitor who she visits and find fifth column people too.
